But I think the writer made a good case for his being a person from that time, just dressed in a way we would perceive as current.
These time traveler photo things are really interesting. I enjoyed reading the Charlie Chaplin one and this one, too, was a good read.
There actually was a time traveler photo from a C2C show. I can't remember if I posted it here or not. I wanted to--just can't recall if I followed through.
Anyway, the story goes like this. A D.C. attorney by the name of Basiago was, as a child, part of an experiment with teleportation. The experiments were part of a series done by the U.S. gov't. Basiago's father was also a part of the experiments.
Basiago was teleported back to the time of Lincoln's Gettysburg address.
Years later he runs across a photo in a magazine (some magazine like The Smithsonian, et al). He sees himself in the photo! The photo and synopsis is at this link:
