got a call out of the blue on a craigslist job I emailed a resume to over a month ago...

part time- some can be done from home - local vacation company... needs a computer guru and receptionist type

AND - they are right around the corner from my HOUSE! (after throwing resumes from sacramento to Reno, this is a huge blessing)

Interview tomorrow at 11am

Let's hope it is the first & last one I have to go through and the job is easily MINE!

and I also know God has a hand in this...been having dreams about my pastor and his wife the past 2 nights
my last job was with the church, and I haven't gone to services since then either
maybe it is a sign i need to get back into the habit of worship and praise? or at least practice some forgiveness?

had to ground and run some energy, spoke to my wonderful mentor and she helped me ground...told ME to interview THEM ;)

i am viewing it as i would any meetying with a potential client. because it is no different than being a freelancer, just the way they pay me.
they have a business, i have the skills...done.

... of "you can make money from home" job listings, ESPECIALLY on Craigslist.
They're basically cold-call sales jobs that you will put in time and money for and your 'salary' is actually commissions that you may or may not ever see.

Dig as much on this company as you can, even check with your local Better Business Bureau if possible, to make sure the job is legit, and if it is, then CONGRATS!!!

wow...could this be something I have been asking for? could the Universe have given me exactly what i have been visioning for all these months?

uh---yeah!

The people are really cool, ex-hippies and very down to earth. He has been a social psychologist and so that kind of meshes with the work I have done for my mentor as well... the group retreat aspect is like a special thing. If you are familiar with church groups, there is something called 'hospitality minisrty' which is making a sacred space for people to do their spiritual work...you handle the details so they can focus on their stuff. really cool. I mentioned this to him as we were working yesterday, and he was thrilled that i 'got it'...
There's potential for as many hours as i want, because there's so much to be done...marketing, web work, basic database upkeep...so I get to nourish all MY aspects as well...creative and organizational.

the husband was the one who trained me yesterday, and he emphasized that they really needed someone to 'hold the reins' so they could do other things they need to as a couple... I told him I am a great 'right hand man' ;)

and wow, even better, he handed me cash yesterday and called it an advance, because he wanted me to know how much he appreciates me.

these people are good - the vibe is very calming and honest and cool.
I think i have my base in place...finally! this will cover my needs while i pursue my other ideas and get them in place... may take a few years, and that's all good, i feel different...like i have the time and can take it slow and develop a strong foundation...

omg...am i 'growing up'...?
