Does anyone feel like they experienced an 'astrological' gotcha over the Holidays?
I felt like I did. Soooo, I thought I was cruising through the sticky spots thinking we were almost in the clear, when low and behold, I get a call from my MIL the night of the 27th saying that they will not be able to go to settlement (they signed the contract earlier in the month) on on the 28th for their house if we can't prove to the buyer's lawyer that there was a mix-up on a previous mortgage held by me for a property sold to my BIL. Companies are forever getting the Jr and Sr mixed up. Just making sense out of her call took some effort, then realizing we had to go back to paperwork from 1997, 2001 and 2007 to try to get this cleared up. UGH!!! On one of those past dates, someone somewhere filed the mortgage under Bill Sr instead of Bill Jr.

Thank goodness I was able to put my hands on the paperwork, but I still have to check that it actually got changed on the books in the recorder's office. The sale was able to go through on the 28th, so I'm assuming they made the change. I just want to double check to be on the safe side.

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced something like that during the end of December? I got to thinking about it today when I was reading the Aries and Taurus horoscopes for January.

1. I believe it was simpy the end of Mercury Rx
Mercury was turning direct at that time. I also noticed that even though I tried to stay cool, this was a very disturbing, chaotic Mercury Rx period from 12/10-12/30

Hope it improves for you. :hi:

4. Yeah, this Merc Rx was nasty. I was plagued by near constant klutziness.
Running into things, bruising myself repeatedly, etc. And most days, I could not put together a coherent sentence to save my life.

2. I've had an intense last several days in the area of personal cleasing of destructive patterns.
Involving willingness and admissions of powerlessness and the need for help, and asking for help.

Spirit does indeed want us to be clear of that which blocks our joy, our path to co-creation, and is there to help as we ask. In fact, very very deeply. If =I= can get help with my extremely energetic, overwhelming patterns, then anyone can. Please try. Please ask for help if you need it. Honesty counts.

5. Yes, there was a death in the family on the 28th.
Another thing.... a friend's cousin died in a fire on that same day. On this same day, though... I told myself how much I loved myself in a grand way and really meant it, and I refuse to go back to former ways of not totally always honoring myself!!! So there!!

I did find my voice and quiet authority over the Holidays this year.
There was a situation that has been brewing in my social life since Easter.
A man That is a philosophy professor decided to give me a 20 minute browbeating lecture in front of our little circle of friends.
It was un called for and way off base.So much so that a couple of the people in our circle asked me if I needed them to speak to him for me.i thanked them but said no that it had to come from me.
Now my first reaction has always been to just fade out of "Friendships" in the past that have gone in a similar direction. But not this year I completely avoided meeting up with him until I could get my heart and head in the right place to sit him down and tell him what I thought and felt without any drama and accusation.
It took eight months to wade through all my visceral emotional reactions to get myself in a place where I could express myself and make it better not worse.
I succeeded in that on the 25th.
On New Years I also very definitely but gently lay-ed my boundaries down in our little circle of friends.
it was absolutely cathartic!!!!
And heart warming for me because I hadn't really realized how valued i was until i saw how protective some of the others in our group were to wards me while i went through this whole process.I knew That I loved them (our Group) But I really never considered that they might love me to. :) It was a very intense lesson .Hopefully it will stop repeating now.

7. Heck yes!
Learned, mid-Dec., 'husb' hadn't included me in '06 + '07 IRS filings (tho we've filed jointly since '84) and I allegedly owe IRS 9000+!

As we've lived separately since Nov '06, and house sold, I have NO paperwork! IRS providing a lot of it, and have retained tax attorney. Not worried about numbers, but SOOOOOOOO pissed off at 'husb!'

DEFINITELY GOTCHA!!! SURE gonna GET HIM!!!

9. For some people it's the Mercury Rx, for others, it's the Pluto
that's why some experiences are broken toasters while others are much heavier. Charts are complex and it's highly important that each person gets acquainted with their own. Some local astrologers will teach you about your own chart if that helps. That way you can at least put things in perspective. :hi:

14. Mine was all about animal issues
Day after day. Very stressful. Everything worked out okay in the end, though.

16. I'm glad everything worked out Hermetic.
Animal issues can be very stressful.
We hospiced Igor for 4months until he passed on New Years day.
Howlerville needs some light and laughter.
We aren't trying to replace Ozzy or Igor or even try to find someone to take thier place.
We just want to find a new place in our hearts for Chumley,Chomsky. :)

Its a miracle.
I have been talking about getting an English bulldog for years and Mr Howler knew I wanted a pug.And Chumley /Chomsky is both!
PLUS Mr Howler and I will still be able to take on a couple of bigger stray dogs that need a home as we cross paths with them.

That Is if these folks ever answer!!!!!!!!!
