My husband started his new job today

This has been two years in the works.

We found out mid-last month that a job he interviewed for in September wanted to hire him. They didn't hire him at the time because of cash flow; they got several new clients between September and December, and decided to take the plunge. To say that we are thrilled is an understatement. They really like Mr. Missy Vixen, and they didn't want him to go elsewhere.

The contracting company he'd been working for was extremely unhappy he decided to leave. They even went so far as to counteroffer so he'd stay. We were paying out of pocket for health insurance over the past six months or so. It was not cheap. They offered to pay for the insurance, which made both of us realize he'd made the right decision. In other words, it was on the table the whole time, but it took his giving his notice for them to decide they'd pay for it? Uh, no.

Blue Iris told me several months ago that Mr. Missy Vixen was going to have a really spectacular couple of months. She was right.

Thanks to everyone in ASAH that prayed, sent good thoughts, and cared for us while we were in the midst of some pretty scary stuff. I hope the New Year brings love, prosperity and joy into your lives, a thousand times what you've brought into mine.
