I'm getting really really really tired of all the "BE AFRAID! It's fun to be scared shitless!!" tv & movies.

2. i've been agog in the amount of "fear the aliens" movies getting TV time this last year.

it's almost like it's a coordinated message or something.

Gotta have an enemy--and it's easy to use aliens, because then you don't offend a segment of the world population, like you do if you pick Asians or Muslims. No excuse, though. :eyes:

Also, I find it fascinating that the article openly acknowledges that this new show is remarkably similar to V. So, what, now they just don't care that they're recycling shows before the first one is even gone? Yikers.

5. All the tv networks do that

They all glom off each other. You see it especially with sitcoms and cop shows, so why not alien scare shows? It's sad that no one has any original ideas anymore. Television is so annoying.

6. I'm really tired of it too.

I really find scary stuff kind of boring now. I do tend to stay away from it, too, but I really think it's losing its punch for me as well.
