but I am getting the feeling that, overall, the negativity in general might be forced to stop. "That side" (negativity) just had a major setback with the martyrdom of those killed in Arizona--and yes, I say "martyrdom" because they gave their lives for this cause: to stop the insanity before it gets even more out of hand.

I was thinking about how the angels who were going to block the Westboro picketing at Christine's funeral was a lot like the Muslims who acted as human shields at the Coptic Christmas mass in Egypt. And who would have thought that the "show me your papers" state would even think of pushing through emergency legislation to prevent the Westboro people from picketing?

Now, regardless of whether Palin, Limbaugh, Beck, and others are or are not formally connected with the shootings, the spotlight is on them anyway, like a flashlight on roaches. They're going to have to be very, VERY careful with their inflammatory rhetoric from now on.

We may have turned a corner, here. At least, I'm praying that we have.
