Anyone else really tired or sleeping a lot?

Anyone else really tired or sleeping a lot?
Yes, I'm aware there could be a medical reason for it, and I'm trying to look into that, but I've been this way for about a month. Just..it takes forever for me to get out of bed, and I do get things done and put in a pretty decent day length,but I'm just *so* tired when I do go to bed, and I feel I'm sleeping a lot. Also waking up with frontal lobe aches about once every other day. Downloads?

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

1. i have been as well, but i've been pretty sick of late.
perhaps part of it is 'releasing old energies to recuperate for the new age,' but i'd still suggest you visit a doctor. the frontal lobe aches are familiar, too, but even still, see a doctor. i can't afford one right now, so i'm living with it.

I feel exhausted a lot of the time, but keep on pushing through. I took a nap both Saturday and Sunday and it felt amazing, but didn't cure the tiredness. I am not staying up late, and have really cracked down on my nutritional habits after I literally swelled up right after Christmas when I was dealing with moving my Mom into assisted living. The swelling has now deflated, but I'm still tired; I feel like I'm on a hamster wheel with no way off and my legs are folding under me.

I've been feeling that way, but it's my own fault. I don't get enough sleep so I *KNOW* that's what is doing it to me. That hamster wheel comment rings sooooo true. I stay up until midnight (or later) to appease part of the family and have to be getting munchkins up at 5:30 to be at school by 7am. I was just reading an article that under 6 hrs sleep a night raises womens heart attack risk by 40%. Guess I'm screwed.

Today coming into work I found myself thinking in the car I wish we had the economy of the Clinton Presidency, I wish I felt energized when I woke up in the morning, and I wish I liked my job enough to look forward to it every day. I have 5 yrs to go until I'm eligible to retire, and I sooooo want to do that and just concentrate on me and my family. I've never had that opportunity.

... that the more you sleep, the more tired you are because your metabolism slows down. Perhaps you're not getting "good sleep" and might want to look into meditating before you turn in for the night, or rearranging your space or having some relaxing music on in the background to help you get a deeper, more restful sleep?

I've never been a morning person so have always had to drag myself out of bed when the alarm goes off but once I'm up and moving, things are fine.

Additionally, this is the usual "hibernation time" of the year for many Northern Hempisphere animals and face it, at our core we too are "animals". :-)

And SAD doesn't usually affect me (being from the northeast and all--clouds and gloom and snow are just business as usual). It was especially bad the past few days, maybe just about a week. And nothing else has changed in my life to alter my sleep patterns or anything (no sick kid, etc.), but I just. can't. wake. up. in the morning. And I can't wait to get to sleep at night. I didn't think of downloads...
