Anyone have success using flower or crystal essences topically?

Years ago I used Bach's Rescue Remedy to good effect - it even short circuited panic attacks if I could remember to use it - but with celiac and multiple food sensitivities which made me leery of trying any of the glycerin based ones I had given up on using them. Well the past few days I have been looking into different ones wishing I dared try one or two which resonated with me... So has any tried essences topically and found it worked as well as the under the tongue method?

The gal at our local health store says that aboriginal remedies are very in tune with the current times and are among the most effective ways of dealing with ..., there's a number of things they help with. A guy named Ian White is the main voice for this stuff to the west. .. sounds intriguing.

I need to find my old bach essences and try them out topically before buying something that might not work since I don't dare ingest it. Then if they do I need to try to narrow it down to one or two that seem to fit my core issues best instead of wishing I currently had a budget that let me get them all!
