In another extraordinary audio report Jack Shenker in Cairo reports on signs that the police are siding with the protesters. He saw a senior police officer discard a teargas canister to signal to protesters that he was on their side. Will the regime fall he asked a state journalist. "It's already falling, it can't stop," Jack was told.

Jack has seen tens of thousands of protesters on the streets, some chanting "we are change".

Some feed they could all sign up for via tumblr, FB, twitter, etc., that would clue them in (in 140 characters or less, of course...lol) to what's going on in the world.

The good news is they don't pay attention to M$M. The bad news is they tend to stay just as clueless as if they WERE watching M$M.

Music is so healing, and I'm such a dork and LOVE flash dance/song mobs. Would love to see a huge group of these protestors break out into song -- a positive, upbeat, celebratory song.

Maybe they have and I missed it? I can't seem to keep up with the news reports.

I hope it's not offensive to the protestors in Egypt in any way, but I'd love to see them break out into The Bangles' "Walk Like An Egyptian." I've seen posters with that phrase, and I think it's a huge compliment.
