This breaks my heart!
I have SUCH a special affinity with our Native American ancestors, and have followed their beliefs for many a year. More-so before I landed in "hell" Illinois, but their teachings still give me comfort. What a travesty. My heart weeps.

What is it about Christianity that makes some folks act like they are on religious steroids.

3. Bless them indeed, laylah....

I find I'm called more and more to work with Native American tribes. My great-grandmother was Creek Indian.

Thank you for posting this.

4. Laylah
It appears its other members of the Cree tribe that are Christan not any Caucasians that are forcing a turning away of the Cree indian traditions.

I hope that somehow this isn't allowed to stand or the future Cree people will find themselves in the same predicament as the Irish when the English tried and pretty much succeeded in eradicating the Gallic culture, language, and traditions.

It would be such a tragic loss if we lose yet MORE history and spiritual traditions that this planet sorely needs.:(

I really don't understand the intolerance of some folks in Christian traditions toward other schools of thought.Never have never will.Especially when you know that Christianity itself stoled and cobbled together the myths, and traditions of other religions to build itself.sigh.
