White Tantra Meditation
Has anybody here done a White Tantra meditation?

I've been practicing kundalini yoga fairly regularly for the last couple of years. It's the weirdest of the yogas; its woo-woo quotient is at eleven. However, I give it credit for catalyzing much needed changes in my life, and I've had a desire to go deeper. I feel more at home in this practice than in any I've tried.

And it's a time of great CHANGE, right? So to help facilitate the changes happening in my life, I signed up for a White Tantra Meditation day, and it's tomorrow. 10 1/2 hours of kundalini meditations with a hundred other yogis all dressed in white and looking like they came out of a TV movie about cults and I couldn't be more excited about all of it!

So, if anyone has a White Tantra experience to share, I'd love to hear about it. :)

From their website:

Our minds release 1000 thoughts per wink of an eye. Some of these thoughts get lost in the unconscious, and some get stuck in the subconscious and affect the conscious mind. These thoughts become feelings, emotions, desires, multi-realities or fantasies. Instead of mastering our mind, often our mind and thoughts direct us, which can cause impulsive decisions, poor communication and self-imposed stress.

White Tantric Yoga enables you to break through these subconscious blocks, so you can have a more enjoyable life. In the shortest time, you can experience release from a lot of the burden you carry in your mind.

When you see and act on each moment with clarity, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your life can change. Your mind, body, and soul can act together as one. This is the path to personal freedom and awareness, and will bring more success to every area of your life.

1. Wow! Sounds exciting..
There are so many diff kinds of yoga, and I thank you for describing the Tantric type. The Kundalini has often rather scared me, that I might do it wrong and injure something spiritually. But The Tantric sounds like what I need to explore. Any links to the best sites?? Thanks!

Alot of womens Kundalini rises naturally during menopause.
I bet you yours is either rising or has already risen.
Wait till it starts to go down and form the circuit orbit. Its intense yet really exhilarating. The meaning of staying grounded takes on a whole new meaning but the rewards are BIG.

3. Hi Dora,
I was due to be one of the monitors for White Tantric tomorrow, but I have to work in the morning. I live in Austin as well. I have completed the level 2 teacher training for Kundalini yoga and been doing it off and on for about 30 years, pretty solidly for that last 10.
White Tantric is an intense experience. I've done it twice and served as a monitor two other years. It's a worthwhile experience, but different for different people. My experience and yours might vary vastly, even if we were in the same room doing the same thing.

What in particular would you like to know?
