totally lost

I don't know about anyone else, I keep hearing about rollercoasters, and wild energies. All I'm getting is nothing. No excitement, good or bad. Which might be a good thing. But it is as stagnant as it could get. I now live alone, they laid so many people off at work, and I'm alone there too. I don't know what this all means. I am slowly awakening. I see and hear life differently and am more intuitive and feeling my own inner voice, but it seems like it's all I have. It's boring, but in away it's pushing me to work on myself with no interruptions. I guess I just answered my own questions.

1. Hmmmm. Firstly, I feel you on the "but nothing's happening" experience.

But you may know that I'm one of those people not caught up in the 2012 hype.

My take: If you were spared a lay off, for now, you may want to exercise caution regarding risks, both personal and financial. My guess is, if you kept your job, you're really going to need it in the immediate future. Which is not to say the others didn't, it's just that you're going to need it, er, more. It's also possible that this job is an essential part of your life path, or that you are essential to your boss or coworkers in some way, but I think having kept it was really more about you.

Other thoughts: If now is more like a beginning of an awakening for you, you may not be feeling anything earth shaking just yet. Just wait, though. It could get interesting soon enough.

Well, I'm definitely going through a phase of feeling the wild energies, but there have been times others mentioned it and I felt nothing. Nada. Complete stagnation.

It sounds like you're in neutral, and that can be a VERY good thing! Do focus on yourself now, while you can. I haven't noticed people staying in this neutral place for very long lately.

I've had both extremes recently, and I much prefer the one that you're currently experiencing. I hope that you're able to use this time to contemplate things; you'll probably consider it to have been a real gift if things start to get crazy for you sometime in the future.

7. Isolation--that can be a good thing

Hi SandyShoes17--and welcome to ASAH and DU! :toast: --just wanted to check in to let you know that you are not alone in your...er, isolation. :) I, too, have been isolated for the past four years. I was always a very social person, but now I'm a stay-at-home-mom AND a freelancer who works at home. I can go days without talking to anyone besides my immediate family. A "special outing" for me is running errands like grocery shopping--wheee! :crazy:

Anyway, my point is that I think it's possible that some of us have ended up isolated at this time for a reason. What that reason is, I'm still puzzling out. Perhaps it's to encourage us to look inward. Perhaps it's to keep us in a calm "backwater" as we grow. Perhaps it's to protect us from chaotic energy "out there". (I'm an empath, and when I get too deeply immersed in chaotic energy, it's VERY hard to handle.)

Whatever the reason, I try very hard to accept it, even though I don't like it. Actually, I don't have much of a choice--! :P

But I don't immediately experience the rollercoaster energies like others who are in the midst of it either. And that's fine. Maybe we can use our quiet neutrality to boost others who are being knocked about "out there". :hi:

Yes, MG. It's been about 4 years too. And I do try so hard to just accept it, but I don't have a choice. I do feel like I'm being protected from the chaos, I've been through enough, I'm dealing with internal stuff and being protected from all the external stuff. Which is fine with me. But it is hard, and puzzling.

8. wanting more

Yes, I do feel like I'm ready to break free, want to fly. It's been going on for awhile now. I'm tired of it,I feel like I've had enough time to myself. I've been doing the treadmill every morning, meditating, eating well and trying to be as present as I can be, but everyone seems to be leaving my life, making it harder to stay present, my mind is the only one talking to me sometime. I went through a bad experience this past year, which I now think was something I needed, it pulled something from many years ago to the surface, something I forgot, but was still lodged in me somewhere, causing harm, it hurt like hell, but I'm going through the healing of it. I do feel grateful and protected though, I'm the only one left in my dept., I have something living in my attack and didn't know where I was going to get the money for them to get rid of it, and fix where they're getting in, and I hit the pick 4. Things like that are happening all the time lately, so I am being taken care of, things are easy. Also seeing numbers constantly, 11:11,111.333,444, all day.But I want meat, I want to feel alive and part of something, I need more interaction. I even invited my family for dinner tomorrow, you know things are bad, they are republicans, not that thats a bad thing. ha.
Also I am not new here, I changed my name and lost my posts, I was 3littlebirds, I didn't have a lot of posts anyway. but thanks for the welcome.

YES, I am ready too. I get quite frustrated in my isolation now. For a while I didn't notice it much (and at times I was grateful for it), but now? UGGGHHH I want OUT! But I can't find the way out yet, and that's irritating. x(

10. It seems to come in waves and it affects everyone differently

depending on where you are on your path to enlightenment and, like the tides, it ebbs and flows. I think MorningGlow is right about how some of us (highly sensitive souls, empaths) need to be protected from the overly strong emotions that are running amok these days.

BTW, welcome to ASAH and to DU--it's a nice place to be.

12. I am watching what is going on, and feel an occasional thrill

but then it is back to work and getting through one day at a time, one hour at a time. So I see the revolutions in the distance, but I don't feel them intensely either. Too busy burning karma, burning one issue after another...or rather, the same one over and over. Reliving some unresolved history until it is no more than a distant memory.

I take it as a good sign: the more you do the work you have to do now, the more clear your path will be when it opens for you. Just my take on it, anyway...
