2. I wonder if that's the same "event" as that apocalyptic TV commercial

talks about. I saw it a couple of times and it was so vague, said to the effect "something BIG is going to happen--it's not the stock market, you need to know about it, blah, blah, blah"...and gave a web address.

7. I had a boyfriend in college in 1958. I broke up with

him when I transferred to another college in another state. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, he took it very badly. He sought out religion and got involved with a cult. A mutual friend told me a year later what had happened and he was worried about him. However, there was no talking to him and the last any one heard of him is that he had given away all of his stuff, dropped out of college and moved to a compound up north to wait for the end of the world. So I believe there is nothing knew here.

There will be an end to the human race and the world a long time after, but it just isn't going to come all at once. I really wish unscrupulous and unbalanced people would stop pushing this doomsday stuff on the weak and gullible.
