Uranus enters Aries stories

Today I've had more movement on certain issues than I've had in months. Really. I want to wait a couple of days to make sure that this is real and not just illusions based on my hope.

In any event, I thought it might be interesting to see if ASAH'ers experience breakthroughs now that Uranus has broken through to Aries.

If you can, share your story and the house of your birth chart where Aries 1 degree falls.

1. If I read my chart right

(which is not a guarantee) then Aries 1 degree is in my third house....don't know what it's supposed to signify, but I have noticed myself being sort of emotionally detached the past few weeks, especially in regards to work. In a good way - I mean I'm not so emotionally invested in whether or not my projects are successful, I'm just doing what I need to do and then letting things go.

My emotions instead have been riled up by what's happening in the country, and the world.

Keep waiting for something "big" to happen today (personally - I think the globally has been taken care of ), but a my life hasn't been one of "big" things I may be waiting awhile.

...intuitive skills, dreams etc. all seem "normal" (for me, anyway).

It's such a weird feeling - like I totally don't fit in this body anymore and I feel pudgy and sludgy and weird. It's not like me to notice physical stuff so this caught my attention.

We'll see, I suppose. I don't want any more chubs though. :)

6. Okay, here's mine

It's minor compared with the devastation in Japan, but it is my own personal breakthrough. After dithering for months, I have FINALLY figured out how to unknot the last chunk of my novel and resolve the story in a sensible way. And all I have to do is rearrange some events I've already written, not rewrite the whole last quarter. PHEW!!!

extremely centred and confident is how I've been feeling as of late. It was a brutal winter, on many levels, and I did a complete turnaround within the last week and a half.

I'm planning to book a solo holiday - which I haven't done for many years (ie well over a decade) due to health issues. I had a 'friend' (he is more interested in me than I am in him) offered to come with me, but I declined. He'd be trying to do almost everything for me, and, quite frankly, I need to do this on my own. Very defiant about that.

0 Aries is in my 12th, trine Mars at 0 Leo in the 4th.

your ascendant determines where your first house begins. Your combined date, location and exact time of birth determine your ascendant. If you get a chart done (free) at astro.com, it will show you where your ascendant begins and where your houses lie (just like in the Obama chart Rick posted. You will need to know location and exact time of birth for the most accurate starting point.

That's a lot more indepth than the chart I had gotten at another site. I had the chart, but not all the houses, etc., that are shown on that PDF. So now I know that Uranus was in my 12th house at birth.

Of course, I don't know what ANY of this means, but it's interesting.

17. So far I'm underwhelmed...but still hopeful

One degree of Aries is in the middle of my first house; Chiron sits at 2 degrees. Maybe it's fitting that today my chiropractor finally ordered an MRI to get to the bottom of an old shoulder injury. But what I really want is some indication that I'm finally leaving behind a lot of old relationship baggage. Every time I think I'm getting close to doing that, something happens to show me that I'm not really there yet. No big changes in those feelings just yet.

Still, my senses are tuned into what may be the start of new trends. In addition to the Uranus move tonight, Chiron will cross my ascendant (and begin opposing my sun), and Jupiter will cross my north node. With Mars and Mercury also in my first house, you'd think the time is right for something...

But even though I don't feel as well as I'd hoped today, during a head-ach-ey and rather heart-ach-y moment, I definitely did FEEL A WAVE that just spoke to me saying, "Kim it'll be alright."

I definitely noticed it. Now the trick is, does it mean it will be alright, in general, or that I will get what I want AND it will be alright???

Or that, what I want will never happen, and I suddenly won't care as much and that makes it alright???

that I have waited 10 years to have the time, money, help and courage to do. It feels really wonderful. Lots of problems came up today and I just dealt with each one, without getting upset or feeling discouraged, or stopping.

Today was pretty underwhelming, but as I understand it, tenth house is career and profession. I am not working Fridays right now, so my day was spent outside of my office.

It was quite a nice day as long as you don't consider the time I spent watching events unfold in Japan in the wake of the earthquake. I drank my coffee, took a late shower, ate lunch with my husband. I took a trip to the mall and bought some new shampoo then went shopping for some new glasses (which was less thrilling given how much those things cost!) I ended up not buying anything, but I felt well treated and satisfied with the experience...

I do think things have been moving in my office/career lately--especially in the last few months. I've made the decision that I am going to run for a city-wide office, which will require moving my household in the next year to establish residency. I've begun lining up the bare bones of a campaign, and working to establish support from key players. That race will happen in a couple of years, but the groundwork has begun already. It is as change for me, but it is one that I am making by my own choice. It is a leap of faith as are all political campaigns, I guess.

Sorry, but there was no big revelation, nor was there even a moment of sudden lucidity. I suppose the shopping for glasses could maybe be a step toward image work for the campaign, but I honestly NEED the new prescription...

47. Late Thurs/Early Friday, husband got very good news.

He's an Aries (don't have specifics handy). He got confirmation he got a job he's wanted for awhile. One that will pay him pretty well. And he seems to be valued and treated well at both jobs now..something that has been lacking for some time.
It was a stressful and slightly drama-filled evening,but with a good resolution. :)

54. Mr. MG had a breakthrough

He hates his job. It's very corporate, and the Peter Principle is running rampant there as complete idiots are coddled and pampered and promoted. I have told him repeatedly over the past couple of years to quit and go work for his former boss, who he works freelance for right now. There are only a couple of employees, no dress code, no corporate bullshit, and his former boss knows he's good and values his work. Nuthin'. Or, at best, excuses as to why that would never work.

Then, Saturday morning, Mr. MG walked into the kitchen and said, "What's my net pay right now?" (It's a direct deposit every other week.) I told him, and he said, "So if we had just that, we'd be okay?" I asked him if he meant that he wanted to stop doing freelancing for his former boss (which brings in a couple hundred every week or two). He said, "No, I want to quit (the corporation) and I was wondering what we've been living on." (I pay the bills because he...well, he's very casual about due dates, let's say.) I asked him if he had any other leads, and he said he was thinking of...working full time for his former boss.

JUST LIKE I'VE BEEN TELLING HIM FOR TWO YEARS.

55. Just had another Uranus explosion last night

I had just gotten my kid down to bed for the night and was settling in for an evening of drawing at the computer when my friend called. She was in tears, on the verge of a complete emotional meltdown because her parents were throwing her and her 1-year-old son out of the house that night. I scrambled and got with my aunt and uncle next door to find her a place to crash (no room at the inn here) then drove out to pick her up.

Apparently her mother started an argument over nothing (literally -- something about the mum saying, "there's something in kid's mouth" and my friend not seeing it) and everything spiraled out of control from there. Friend couldn't take the emotional abuse anymore and decided to just leave. Her parents basically said, "fine, get your shit and get the fuck out." I'm not sure if they tried to block her from calling other friends or family members to help first, but there's definitely a history of abuse between her and her parents.

My friend and her kid are safe now, which is ultimately what counts. We're going to take today to try and get some things sorted out and see if we can arrange for some of her more sane family members to help pick up her stuff. I can't help in that respect -- her parents barred me from entering the house to help get her things and have threatened to call the cops on me for trespassing if I ever show up there again. It's absolutely crazy.

But overall it's a good thing to happen for my friend. We can help her get on her own two feet now and take care of such important details like getting her driver's license (her parents were too lazy/controlling to ever bother teaching her to drive -- I did that -- or take her down to the DMV to take the damn test) and finding a place of her own.

63. I think we're going to be okay at this point.

We were able to get the rest of her things today and she was even able to drive herself in to work this afternoon. I think the most important thing we did for her today was letting her drive by herself -- that bit of independence seems to have empowered her to take matters into her own hands. Staying with us is only a temporary solution, but we can do a lot to help her get on her own two feet.

On the upside, her wee man and mine love each others company! We can definitely help with baby sitting while she gets her stuff together.

Thank you again for the kind thoughts, Rick. My friend thanks you as well. She says it's an incredible relief to know that someone, even a total stranger on the internet, actually cares about her well being.

I believe Aries is in my 9th house (and I have been planning a trip, so maybe that ties together).

I did get two surprises yesterday: 1) my kid cleaned her room and 2) my father called. I can't remember the last time either of those happened!

That has to do with money, right? I've been worried about money (uncharacteristically so) for about six months, and for just as long have been getting periodic "messages" (fortune cookies, things like that) telling me to stop worrying, stop focusing so much on saving....so now I don't know what!
