Closure on my crazy Scorpio story
So, many of you followed along on my roller coaster relationship with the Scorpio last year. It got even weirder to the point of the ridiculous and it finally ended for good in January (we still work together and are “friends” in that respect.)

Then one day last month, the Scorpio’s best friend comes to work for him (he’s a Scorp too, so I’ll call him S2). S2 and I totally click. Immediately and completely. Finish each other’s sentences type of connection. Everything is completely effortless, light and happy. And as an added bonus, he gives me the scoop on S1 and answers all the questions that have been spinning in my head (sadly, S1 has some serious problems that can never be fixed, which explains so much of his odd behavior.)

S2 is everything I had wished S1 would be. And S2 actually communicates with me plus, he thinks I’m smart, and funny, and witty, and beautiful. I can't help but think that I went through all the S1 stuff because I was supposed to connect with S2. I'm thinking, OMG this is the guy I'm supposed to be with!

So, get this...He and S1 have a pact that they won’t ever date the same woman. :wow:

Can you believe it? I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! :banghead:

Oh well, the bright side is S2 made me forget about S1. Now I just need to forget about S2!

1. Jesus Christ. That is totally insane.
A pact? What is this, high school? Yeah, forget that one. Fast. I recommend tequila and lemon balm. Good luck!

2. Maybe "pact" isn't the right word.
Guy code stuff I suppose. They've been friends since they were teenagers, so it may have originated in a high school era.

I think it was never an issue before because S1 always dated fairly nutty women that S2 never had an interest in.

3. OK. Here's another Scorpio's assessment of the situation:
No problem....
You are not dating S1 now & sounds like never will again.
There should be no problem w/dating S2.
Believe me, if S2 wants to date you, he will work it out w/S1, or casually "forget" about the old "pact".
In other words, if a Scorpio man wants a woman, NOTHING will stand in his way.

Be prepared.

4. Okay, I shall prepare.
:)

They've been best friends forever though.

Yes, S1 is totally out of there. No hope in hell.

5. Sounds like you're smack dab in the middle of your soul family!
I've worked at several places where I found that many of my coworkers were members of my soul family, there to be friends, teach lessons, learn things from me too. It can be really cool. I particularly remember one retail experience where I would swear every single employee was part of the same soul family. Most of us were young (mid to late 20s) and single, so things got pretty darn...incestuously messy and complicated (lots of dating and breaking up and dating others). But overall it was cool.

SF, if S2 is meant to be the guy for you, S1 will give his blessing (possibly surprising even himself). Has S2 even asked S1 if he minds? He might be surprised to hear the answer. ;)

6. I have no idea what the Ss talk about!
Honestly, I'm not even 100% positive S2 wants to be in relationship with me. Right now, I'm enjoying his friendship and the glimmer of hope that the future may bring something more. But I've promised myself to put me first (a lesson it took me a lifetime to learn) and not to pass up someone else if they come along. Like you said, I figure if it's meant to be, it will somehow work out. I just know with S2, everything seems effortless; with S1, everything was like pulling teeth. It just feels like I'm going in the right direction because it's so easy. If nothing happens, then I think I at least have found a good friend.
