1. well, I have been wondering.......
Since about the first of March I have had a minor issue. About every day or so I noticed a vibration feeling on about six square inches of my left leg. It never lasted more than a few seconds. Nothing moved, and I thought it was some sort of nervous system anomoly. Since it didn't really hurt, I just thought "Huh" and went on about my merry way. It was a bit more frequent as time passed, too.

But, since the quake, I haven't had it happen at all. Not only that, but the last time I felt it, it was really strong, and I actually thought that part of my leg was moving. But it went away after a few seconds again. Later I figured out that this was at night right about the time of the quake. I never would have associated this feeling with the earthquake looming but for the fact that it just completely has stopped since the quake.

of course I have heard about some woman that actually predicts quakes because of her physical complaints, but I have never noticed anything like that. If this vibration feeling ever happens again to me, I am going to document it.

So, that is my story. I did sort of wonder what people here thought of it but I am really glad I didn't have to start a thread about it, so thanks.

2. Interesting.
It was so rainy last week, I kind of wonder if the folks that get aches and twinges from the atmospheric
pressure might have totally ignored anything that came close to that because they just thought it was the weather.

3. Celeb
since I've had MS for 37 years, these kind of twinges to your nervous system, I believe, it's simply Uranian energy kind of overloading one of your energy meridians for a bit. I'm not a Dr, see one if you feel you need to. But, I wouldn't sweat it, it'll probably slide like thousands of mine have. Good luck.

5. Thanks but I lol at going to a doctor for this
Doctor see I have had a weird vibration feeling on six square inches of my left leg for several seconds about once a day for ten days. It stopped after the earthquake but I need a diagnosis. Was it the earthquake or Uranus energy? I actually barely go to the doctor even if I have something wrong medically. Hopefully we are done with earthquakes like this in my lifetime.............and I won't get to test it again. If I have this same feeling twice in the same week in the future I will post here.

Uranus energy is certainly a possibility. I am unconcerned about this being a medical issue.

6. cell phones
I remember reading a brief newspaper article a year or two ago about an increase in doctor visits related to complaints about a buzzing/vibrating feeling on their bodies. It turns out these people carried their cell phones in a pocket and set to vibrate. Their bodies were so attuned to the frequent cell phone vibrations, that they began to experience "ghost" vibrations, even when there weren't any.

It's a crazy world we live in.

7. Oh, man that is interesting, although
A couple of feet separate where my cell is from where the vibrating feeling was, and it doesn't explain why the feeling stopped with the earthquake. At this point I am going to say that was most likely a coincidence, but I will be on the lookout. I tend to get vibration feelings anyway sometimes, but that has literally been going on for decades, and is also entirely separate from this. I actually kind of like some of the buzzing feelings, as in, when I get off the chi machine. That kind of vibrating feeling feels good, but I haven't used it in a couple of months.

18. I would guess she means the very idea of asking a medical doctor
the question "Was it the earthquake or Uranus energy?" is funny, because I don't think anyone would actually do such a thing, much less in a serious tone ;)

10. We lost our 6 year old dog child. ...
He had a severe stomach ulcer - vomitting blood on Tuesday and they did surgery. He was getting better then developed a series of complications and he didn't make it through emergency surgery 3/11 around 4 pm CST. If the world hadn't already been thrown off its axis a bit from the Japan quake, this would have done it for us. Just looking for any possible explanation or someone to blame.

34. You're welcome, japple!
It is a "suggestive" theme song, though, isn't it? ;)

I downloaded a lot of the episodes via torrents last year, but I know it's not a complete set. In fact, from hunting around the 'net, I don't think anyone knows the name of all episodes, much less has them all available for sale/download. They're fun to watch again, though the stories are pretty simplistic.

22. Miscellaneous things....
Edited on Wed Mar-16-11 08:47 AM by OneGrassRoot
March 10th was my daughter's 18th birthday but it was very tumultuous, involving a rather typical high school drama (though involved a friend's parent :() -- a miscommunication blown way out of proportion, but that type of thing is so rare for my daughter that it was a BIG deal. Tumultuous social things with her for several days thereafter affected me and had me way off kilter.

Also on the morning of March 10th I noticed in my backyard a raven (much larger than a crow), with a broken wing. :(

I called wildlife rescue contacts but there was no one to help with a raven. After several hours of observing off and on (he/she was not yet in distress), I decided to take matters into my own hands and try to catch him, to take him a couple of hours away where a wildlife rehab person was available. By the time I gathered blankets and a crate, I couldn't find him! My backyard is not totally fenced in, and it backs up to a road, but I still looked high and low, to no avail. I couldn't imagine where he went in a brief period of time. So, I released it, trusting what was best will be.

I almost posted about it here, as I felt it was an omen.

Then Friday happened, with the devastation in Japan.

Yesterday, MUCH to my surprise, the raven with a broken wing was in my backyard again...still seeming fine! No idea where he goes but he once again disappeared in a fairly short period of time.

24. ravens
Hmm, that might have been an omen for the earthquake.

Last August we had an accident in our family and a loved one died. The next day ravens (or it might have been crows) were feeding at my bird feeder. Never, in all the years I have had this bird feeder, has that happened.

That he's managing even though his wing is broken might also be part of the message.

38. I just started working with an animal rescue group and went to walk
some of the dogs today. The women who were working there said that the dogs had been acting out more than usual lately, fighting and misbehaving. We rearranged the combinations in the kennels of some of the more rowdy members and hope they will get along better. I've never worked with dogs, so this is all new to me.
