is anyone else noticing the absurdity of building a nuclear plant on a FAULT line?!?? I watched a thing last night talking about how the U.S. has some nuclear power plants that are built on fault lines, and I'm thinking wouldn't someone at SOME point go, "Um yeah, that's probably not a good location"...I mean really! And then they showed a clip of BONER yesterday, (yes I know it's pronounced "Baner" but I refuse to call him that) saying that we should be more like France and we should have more nuclear power plants and we shouldn't let this thing that's happening in Japan deter us from building more plants. So he's saying we should build MORE nuclear plants in the midst of what looks like it's going to be the worst nuclear disaster EVER. Is he insane or just drunk all the time??
The ONLY thing I can think of that makes any sense at all is that more and more "over the top" opportunities are occurring now so that people will wake the you know what UP. Surely, at some point Mr. and Mrs. right wing conservative tea party will see something that triggers SOMETHING in them that will make them think "Hmmm, I don't know about building more nuclear plants seeing how they can destroy the WORLD if there's an accident, and I know property is dirt cheap on fault lines, but don't they have earthquakes along those things sometimes??" More and more I'm beginning to feel as if I am from another planet watching some of this stuff unfold. It just keeps getting more ridiculous by the day. Surely the reason for that MUST be to wake people up, we can't POSSIBLY be that dense as a human race, CAN WE???
