he is 95 years old, Normandy veteran of WW2, former POW. Was living independantly until he fell and broke his hip Feb 18th. He has been in a rehab facility since then, and in decline. Please send him love and hope.

4. There are so many in need right now.

Prayers and healing for Japan, both the land and the people.

Prayers for our Democrats in Congress, so we can have a budget. The budget should not harm the unemployed, the elderly, the disabled, the poor. Pray that a budget is passed that heals instead of harming our country.

Prayers for Wisconsin. If there is a recount in the Kloppenburg election, may she win without a protracted and stubborn battle on the part of her opponent. We don't need another situation like the one Al Franken had to endure.

The reports on the news are heart-breaking. I saw Gov Perdue on the news last night, and she looked as if she were going to cry. It's just horrible, and no one around here knows what else we can do except make donations to relief organizations.

24. I think the area is largely in shock...

I guess this is what it's like after an earthquake or an unexpected/unanticipated natural disaster. With hurricanes, which we're accustomed to, you know it's coming. You can prepare. No so with tornadoes.

The shock factor of such widespread damage is pretty significant. I saw reports that some of the tornadoes were F3's. And to have multiple ones, staying on the ground so long....it really is an historic event here.

The sound of chainsaws is ever present.

People definitely come together in a huge way after these types of events. Everyone chips in to help in whatever way we can...neighbor by neighbor. I'd say in this general area, there isn't a neighborhood left unscathed in some way.

25. feeling funky, kids 'off'

I am feeling like i'm coming down with something or the sudden drop in barometer has got me messed up bad! joints sore, low back and base of skull in spasm, headachey, and a little sniffle and cough thru the day, very low energy... almost feels like an emotional response too because i am worrying about the kids and life and health issues alot this week.

Laney, the one with the cyst in her brain, is having an increase in headaches and vomiting. Trying to get doc to order the MRI now and then take results to the neuro asap...but asap means 'whenever' when you are on medi-cal...and an emergency room visit won;t help with a birth defect issue...

Devin, the adhd(?) one, is having increasing mental upsets...more impulsivity, chewing on clothes, obsessive behaviors and counting, humming, tapping... he's got me on edge because i want him to get a REAL diagnosis. i think he's got autism-spectrum stuff going on too and the peditrician just thinks he needs meds, well we've done that gor a year, and at first it was fine but now he's just too skinny and getting worse mentally, not better

35. kids to dr today...my back is still knotted!

been 'broken' for three days now, can;t walk straight, been to the chiro twice, cried both times and my girlfriend even did some massage & energy work on me. My 2nd is clogged it seems, locked up right in the crick of the low back...

need to stay mobile today, back to work for lucie my old friend/client/mentor...and after the kids go to the doc, we have our first little league practice...

praying for strength to knuckle through and have the day go easy :(

MFR hit us in the gut today. It *looks* like the transmission went on the car.
The very expensive Nissan Variable Speed Transmission.
Three. Thousand. Dollars.
Help.
It is *possible* as I write this, that they will find there was a recall on this and I *may* not be found financially liable. I have no idea how possible this is. Please pray for this to be resolved in the best way..but I really really really don't understand why we have to learn a $3000 lesson. Please.

My parents didn't age well, and they're suffering the effects of time. My brother lost a court case and his job, he was a contractor and the writing was on the wall. I've been downsized and have a couple of weeks left to find a job within the company--and I have a lot of competition. As if the gremlins and sprites make sport with me, I answered a personal ad, I was turned away. That's not so great by itself, but the young lady actually turned me down by e-mail instead of sending the form letter.

I need a break.

37. Struggle vs. faith

Feeling very challenged this week... seriously out of money, gas, and options right now. Kid home sick, dealing with BOTH kids' lingering issues (laney's brain-cyst is giving her headaches, and devin's 'adhd' issues are not properly diagnosed) more tests on the horizon, more medical stuff to schedule and foillow up. meanwhile I've had the 'ick' for about a week and now devin is home with the crud too...
Toopk laney to school and almost ran out of gas, have to ask the school to put her on the bus home, even though our bus pass is expired...can;t go to the job one and check in for welfare to work, which means more sanctions of cash aid next month...

meanwhile I am looking at my faith and trust in the universe to care for us and carry us through it all. I know times have been tougher and they will be tougher in the next year to come...just wanna be able to handle what comes next, and shed the feeling of wanting to :hide: from it all...

need healing angels today, for sure....

so my usual backup plan has misfired... my mom went to help by sticking some cash in my bank. Turns out the bank was holding FOUR overdraft fees till I put money in, and now I am screwn! (wtf...i checked my balance yesterday and it said $5, i even spent $3 of that at the gas station...)

NO money, NO gas, NO assistance till next week and even then it is being sanctioned...

I am freaking out. Need to pull in some side jobs to get some fast cash. i put out an APB to my local FB peeps to see if I can do any house or yard work to get by...

please just send me some love & light that I can stop feeling this fucking suckage! I swear, life is starting to feel like a black hole pulling me in....

42. Up all night. Building a wall - metaphorically.

Which I should not really be doing, I know.
A situation has reared its' head; one I have now pegged to be an unresolved issue-situation from over ten years ago. All the hallmarks are the same - I'm in the same timeframe in my longterm relationship; the energies are the same; there's a Gemini involved. This ended not necessarily badly,but very irritatingly last time; leaving me feeling like a fool. And generally the situation was left unresolved.

I suppose my challenge here is to remain open despite my almost instant fear of being hurt (once I realized what was going on); but I really really really really don't want to. I don't understand why I have to go through this again. In fact, I'm already hurt. I didn't realize what was going on until late last night/early this morning.

I've become such a very open channel empath lately, and this particular brand of Gemini and I always seem to really connect energy-wise.

Then they, in my Leonine opinion, seem to not take it seriously and flake. In truth, I understand they are just being true to their natures, but I fail to understand why I seem to have to take the brunt of it and feel/look like an utter fool.

I become excited about the connection because it is so very pure, and strong, and such a confirmation of everything I believe about the nature of energy and spirituality. Nothing untoward happened in either situation,btw. Seriously.

And then the fall...ha ha.

Look, I understand it is my job right now to hold the love open. But this is just too much for me. I do NOT understand why I have to always (not just in this situation) be the foolish 'sensitive' one, whom other people look at in pity ...'people are just like that' 'you're not realistic' 'you should expect that' and so on. I'm tired tired TIRED of fighting that perception. I've spent my life trying to prove to men that women are not all bad, and to some women that men are also not so. It's really wearing me down.

Well. What I am asking is for your strength and light to help me not finish building this wall. After all this ranting and raving, I know I need to remain open, and that this is part of why this pattern is repeating. This Gemini is living in my house, and with honor I cannot ask him to leave - he has no where else to go. This is time for me to confront whatever it was I did wrong last time; I just can't seem to figure out what that was. I was as open then to that person as i am now, and got seriously wounded for all of my trouble. At this point I feel like an old, too-serious predictable goody-two-shoes with a guilty secret. Do not like.

you know, i am sure it always feels worse when you are in it. but sheesh!

had the unspecified ickfor a week prior, then my kid got the cough & crud all this week... yesterday i awoke with the sore throat, aches, mand more snot than i have seen in a LONG time...

I can;t help but think somehow this is also related to the recent shift in my life and the tendency to crawl under the covers that has gone to seed. and i also have to take an immuno-suppressant for my arthritis, and it seems like my sinuses are always just lurking and waiting to blow up.
anyway, please eand light for more STRENGTH, inside & out I know i can get thru this, i just hate feeling yukky and want to whine all the time right now!
