This has got to improve.
Edited on Fri Jun-03-11 09:50 AM by PinkTiger
For two years I have been patient, stayed the course, and tried to hope for better things. But instead of getting better, things are getting worse. I lost my job two years ago and I've been trying to make lemonade from the lemons by going to school for another degree and working, when I can, at odd jobs. But now my unemployment has been delayed for technical reasons (long story) and I'm nearly out of everything, including hope. Why am I posting here? Because we are one eclipse into a three eclipse period, and the June 1st eclipse has done nothing but bring me sorrow. According to Susan Miller's forecast, "The first eclipse this month will arrive as a new moon solar eclipse in Gemini, 10 degrees, on June 1, and light your solar tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. This almost guarantees some sort of change will take place in your career. You may be given a promotion or the offer for a big position." Well, if the first eclipse is any harbinger of whats to come, I'm in deep doo doo. I've applied for every job out there, and received no offers. No interviews even, for months. I've revamped my resume, worked on my cover letters, done all the right things, and still nada.
Zip.
The thing is, I don't know if I have to courage to continue making lemonade. I'm sort of out of sorts.

I'm a Virgo, btw. With a stellium in Virgo, in my first house. Maybe that is part of the problem. But then I read further about Uranus changing signs, and it just depresses me more. The last time Uranus was in Aries, we had the 1929 stock market crash and the Great Depression. Yes, that is what we need. More of that.
OK - this is really not just about me. Really. What is happening? Why is everything in the world going to Hell all at once?
Is there any hope at all, or should we just cash it in?

2. Am I the only one who is scared?
Three eclipses. Whew.
One good thing happened this afternoon, though. The unemployment people called and my claim is straightened out. And instead of the rude person I talked to earlier this week, a very nice person called. Sometimes things go better than others.

3. I'm glad to hear that the unemployment issue was resolved.
Things like that can put almost anyone into a panicked state.

I am personally just taking everything a day at a time in reference to the current energies. My issues are more internal than external at this point. I don't feel that I can do anything other than plod along and try to do the best I can every step along the way; I'm not expecting anything more of myself at this time.

I hope that things come together for you very soon, PinkTiger. I wish you happiness and peace.

6. This strikes me as a VERY important insight:
"I'm not expecting anything more of myself at this time."

One that would benefit all of us to heed.

8. Because
I really don't know if I can take another bad thing right now. I've had three deaths in the family the last 12 months; my husband is a heart patient and could have another attack any time. My mother is 91, soon to be 92, lives alone (her choice) and has had a tough year, with my sister's death and her companion's passing six weeks ago. Being out of work gives me no financial capital as a cushion against any further financial problems. Etc. Etc. Etc. And the world is not in a good place at all right now. On top of all of that are my own health problems - which are not unsubstantial - and a tenuous hold on sanity (I'm not crazy, but sometimes I think I could lean in that direction.)

That is why. Not to say that my problems are as bad as some and no worse than others. It is just that I'm at the end of the tether. No more slack. And my attitude is slipping.

9. I am so sorry.
That is a lot for one person to handle. Of course your attitude is slipping.

10. I'm not scared.
Don't know if I can offer you any comfort. Do you listen to alternate news sources or main stream? I listen to the most dire reports anyone is putting out there. I guess one could become desensitized from the repetitiveness of the mouths on those venues. Or, one could become very fearful. Just wondering what you're feeding your mind? My mother used to complain about insomnia. Then I found out she had Jerry Springer on the tv every night! No wonder! Some days I have to back off my facebook feed. I can't think about another catastrophe. I share photos of beautiful flowers and garden from one of my friend's album. When I can.

It would be easy to become overwhelmed just from general planetary goings on. I have stored away some basic survival items. I hope it doesn't go that far. I know you and I both have been through so much in our lives. Making contact with old high school friends has revealed to me how many of them are no longer with us. It's been a challenging process; new for me. There must be some reason we are still here. We still have our meaning to make manifest.

Also, a good crazy dance won't break anything! Just let it out! Crazy gets a bad rap for no good reason.

Wish I had more to offer, but I'm running short in the hope department myself.

7. No, you're not the only one who is scared....
You're far from alone, but that doesn't ease the distress.

I'm glad you received a bit of good news to ease the path a bit.

getting better by the end of the year. Just hang in there and tell yourself the bad will be over in time. I have found that things cycle. You may get a whole bunch of bad hitting you at one time. Then it gets better. I wonder if it's the universes way of making you experience a bunch of down experiences at once so you can have years of things being better.

13. Can you possibly just ignore the eclipse thing?
I'm trying to think of something encouraging to say. Just facile words won't help, and could just serve to make me sound calloused and uncaring. You've been through a lot. A lot of really difficult stuff. Heck, even if you'd never lost your job all the other things that have happened in the past two years would warrant . . . whatever it is you're feeling. I don't want to assume I actually know how you feel, because I don't. I can't, because my life is currently unfolding very differently.

14. I'm trying.
I'm having a lot of trouble right now with normal things. Watching TV, for example, or reading. I have to be careful not to watch anything or read anything that adds to the paranoia. It occurred to me that I'm experiencing PTSD - and the total devastation by tornado of our nearest large town didn't help at all.

16. Don't give the eclipse matter too much focus
I have never seen any astrologer be able to properly predict eclipses. Mostly, they sharpen your focus, "I am now aware of", in your mind in a certain areas.

They are NOT symbols of doom.

Most non-astrologers don't know a thing about astrology and therefore overrate any action taking place with the Moon and Sun.
What you are going through sounds very normal according to all the clients I have. We are caught up in the collective healing process. Even though YOU are trying hard, you still have some tie to the collective difficulties. All each of can do is keep our chins up and keep trying. There is no "end date" to all of this.

17. Thanks, Rick!
I was wondering if you would chime in. The eclipse thing just threw me. Right now I don't need another bad thing, nor do any of us.
LOL
But there's no use in worrying about it, like you say.
I did a tarot reading on myself last night and it seemed to state that it would all be OK in the end. I should just keep faith.
So I'm going to work toward that goal.
