Numerology
So, Cafe Astrology has a numerology calculating site here

I completed it and in my 5 lifepath

Can anyone beat that? :rofl:

I'm getting a bit nervous though because I see a lot of so called "master" numbers in there. If I don't live up to my potential as a master I have to pay a karmic debt. Sheesh. Of course, introvert comes up in this long report as well. I'm only semi introverted. Could my broken ankle be a karmic debt for my not living up to the elevens I see? Honestly I don't even know how most of these are calculated.......

If you all get any insights from this let me know.

(Oh, I'm doing ok and doing without pain medication for now, from the operation Monday. I am awful at crutches but the scooter is coming tomorrow. Wish me luck with that. I have to keep my ankle higher than my heart for another few days.)

Doing fine, and keeping my ankle above my heart, even while sleeping! I have terrible upper body strength for crutches on one foot. I plan on being good now in hopes of being able to do more later.

Re: numerology. If you "don't live up to your potential" you have to "pay karmic debt"? Please. I think as long as you don't screw up your life cycle too bad this time, you'll be okay. I'm starting to think those on the Other Side don't give a damn whether we pay or not.

I'm not sure where those master numbers came from anyway, except adding up my birthday numbers without the year equals 11. I am sure the ankle thing is probably some sort of lesson learned (wear your running shoes everywhere?)

I'm having fun here looking up acupuncture points for the ankle and applying the laser to them.

8. I got a new perspective
I listen to Michael Tsarion frequently. What he says about Karma is really just common sense. Once we learn the "lesson", Karma is paid in full. We're not just hapless Karma attractors. I also think we are a lot harder on ourselves than Karma could ever be.

I'm starting to think those on the Other Side don't give a damn whether we pay or not.

I concur. That's another thought provoking thing Michael talks about. His premise is that we are socially conditioned to reward those who do 'good' because there is no inherent Universal acknowledgement for kindness. Sure sounds like this society. So, someone/thing on this side doesn't seem to demand payment either.

At the same time, I do believe in homeostasis. I may need to refine my ideas about that-balance.

I'd been wondering how you were getting along with that ankle! Glad to hear you are doing well (and you must be if you are off pain pills this early. When I blew mine I was drugging it up for what seemed like forever!) Given what a PITA crutches are, I think that scooter sounds like a brilliant idea. Good luck learning to navigate with it!


I was taught that all Numerology calculation is based off the given name at birth rather than any changes that occur with marriage/divorce/choices. You sound especially worried about karmic debt and any karmic lessons that you may be looking at, so I figured I'd take a second and show you how I was always taught to calculate that.

The letters of the alphabet and the numbers they correlate to:

If you are doing a chart by hand, you take the given name at birth and then assign the correct number to each letter of the name:

J A N E A N N E S M I T H
1 1 5 5 1 5 5 5 1 4 9 2 8



Karmic lessons are represented by any numbers that are missing in that name chart. In Jane's chart above, Jane is missing 3, 4, 6, and 7 in her chart. That missing 6 means a lack of ability to commit, and the 7 indicates not paying attention to innate abilities--turning your back on gifts you were given. The missing 3 means a lack of "stick to-it-ness" or a tendency to be impulsive. To be honest, I have forgotten what the missing 4 means (Oops! Good thing I have never charged anybody for one of these!)

In here, we have talked a great deal about soul contracts and choices/decisions the soul makes before it enters this current body. That is very true to the philosophy of numerology as I understand it. The numbers in your life help to represent that and make it more understandable. Karmic Debt carries through from one life to the next, and it isn't like an overdraft fee, exactly, but it kinda is because if you actively work to mess up you might end up "paying for it" in the next life be choosing to re-learn those lessons. If you work to minimize the weight you place on the planet and on others, most likely you are not gonna be looking at anything too dreadful to deal with in later lives.

Accidents and the bumps along the road are just that--stuff that happens. Might be a bummer, might be a real opportunity. HOW you deal with it--the choices you make, will be the key. I'm not giving advice here, but if you are laid up for a while, maybe this is a great opportunity to take up a new hobby or learn an new skill. Investigate something you want to know more about... MAYBE this is your time to take up meditation or some other not so physical pursuit!!!! :)

14. Interesting note about the karma thing
Though I have a question. My name chart doesn't have any missing numbers, yet by the site's calculations I've got a 19 for karmic debt. How does that work?

Otherwise my chart comes out with a lot of ones (soul, life path, personality) and an 11 (destiny), plus more than a few sixes. I like to take it as a meaning to just be myself and try not to worry about what everyone else thinks. :)

16. Lessons and Karmic Debt are not always the same things
Certain numbers are called "master" or "finishing" numbers. 11 and 19 are two of those numbers. Most two digit numbers can be reduced (added together) but master numbers customarily are not.

According to what you describe of your chart, that karmic debt is, in fact, something your soul/entity/being is working off from a previous incarnation. That can be anything from the shock of an untimely (involuntary) death to previous drug addiction, suicide, or even abuse. Unless you yourself have an idea of what has transpired in your lives before, there really is no way to know--at least according to my limited understanding of Numerology--that is. I'd think that an Astrologer could probably help you access the information, maybe a good Tarot reader could help you access it, for sure past life regressions could probably open that subject up for you.

I will tell you that life lessons can sometimes help point the way to understanding any kind of karmic stuff, but not always. Me, myself, I got an issue with domesticity according to my life lessons/missing numbers. I'm ok with the whole married concept--been married for 16 years to the same guy and still doing fine with each other. Having SAID that, I also have to admit that I have almost a paranoia about making sure my husband never doubts my commitment to him. I have always been this way, so it is not some quick of our marriage--ya know? Anyhow, I had a spontaneous previous life memory of being beaten to death by a husband who was convinced I had been cheating on him. Very graphic stuff--down to the smell of the dirt where I fell and watching myself bleed out.

Ew.

No way anybody wants to experience THAT again! NO WONDER I was afraid of commitment, and no wonder I carry the attitudes I do about open communication with my husband! Having made that particular realization, I understand why I am looking at that issue again in this life. Hopefully, the learning of it will continue to be a more gentle catechism than that other time...

I'll probably take a pain pill tonight. My daughter had this happen and she took them a long time, so I don't know why people are different.

Thanks for the numerology explanation! I have to say, though, that it is the destiny number that is 11, and one of the Pinnacle numbers. My soul number is 22. I'll have to think about all this.

I like the scooter, but it isn't perfect. Much, much better than crutches........ I have to figure out how to get the basket on it.

Right now I have to keep my ankle above my heart about 95% of the time. So I am stuck with this ancient laptop and can't do a whole lot on it. When I can sit at my desk with my leg propped up, I plan on organizing all my photography folders. I plan on getting a decent photo editing program. Plus I was in the middle of a project for all my radionics work making slideshows for tapping on acupuncture points. That is extremely time consuming and tedious, and definitely not a new hobby. Maybe I will try to learn my program better, edit movies, etc.

I just finished a big fat book "Me and Lee" which is Judyth Vary Baker's account of her life with Lee Harvey Oswald the summer before the assassination. I ordered some 1000 page book recommended by my son in law but Amazon hasn't even sent it yet because I got super saver shipping (ugh!).
