My experience with angel hosting

So...

I received the angels from Sanity Claws :hi: (thanks!) last Wednesday morning for a 5 day visit. There's a simple ritual where you prepare by writing down 3 wishes/prayers and putting them in a sealed envelope along with the names of the 3 people you'll be sending the angels to. Then, you place an apple on top of the envelope. You bless and keep a white candle burning while at home and place white flowers with the candle and the apple/envelope all in one spot-like a mini altar. Note: Angels or no angels, I wasn't too keen on leaving a candle burning overnight (cat), so I used one of those little battery powered electric votive candles. (I was told that intent counts, lol) Now you're ready to greet them at your open door.

To be honest, I didn't expect too much...after all the angels are "always" with us. Hmmm, well...I guess my experience can be described as subtle yet empowering. Little things turned out to have more meaning for me-and more results. It's very hard to describe. My interactions with others were warmer. A lot of little things that kind of snowballed for me during these days... I have a sense of feeling stronger.

First, I noticed that there were a lot more animals than usual in my yard. When I opened the coop door to feed my chickens, I came face to face with a red squirrel climbing up the wire sides! I've lived here many years and have never seen one before. An extraordinary amount of birds and butterflies...of course it is June, though, I thought.

For the 3 wishes/prayers that I decided on, I used a "formula" of- one for myself, one for my immediate surroundings of family, friends, community etc. and one for mankind/Gaia.

Well, the one for myself just happened on Friday. I'd written that I'd like more income but as an underemployed worker (I work on a free lance basis), had no idea of how this could manifest easily. Well, Friday, I went to work as usual and in a conversation with my employer, found the words, "I need to raise my hourly rate" just tumble out of my mouth! Then I quoted an amount that was $10 more per hour. She looked at me and almost immediately said "absolutely yes, you've been very valuable to me and you deserve even more, but we'll go to here for now". wow. I think that I was given a subtle push as I'd had no real thought beforehand to initiate that conversation.

This morning, I got up and thanked my guests as I bid them "farewell and godspeed" to their new hostesses. I did get a sense of "goodbye" as I opened the door to send them off. Than I went to work and ate the apple that had absorbed all the positive energy of the last 5 days. This evening, I'll burn the envelope to release its contents to the skies-looking forward to realizing effects of the other wishes

And, I look forward to hearing the other experiences....coincidences? I've learned not to believe in coincidences, lol. There's soooooooo much we don't know.

7. that's so cool! it really is the little pushes that start the snowball rolling.

there's a magic to subtlety. which is why i no longer worry about karma returning upon the particularly malicious in my life. often life's punishment has been far more exacting and excruciating than i could have ever dreamed of. so, obviously the same must happen when it comes to positive things in others lives. no shafts of light with angels singing upon high, but an uncharacteristic and courageous blurt is definitely magic of an impressive sort!

8. My apologies for not sharing this earlier,

but it was intense to the point that I had to process for a week first.

When they first got here, I didn't notice much, but as someone pointed out, they are always with us so it figures that I wouldn't notice more angels. Later on that evening, I felt subtle tickles and "sparkles" around my feet, arms and head, and realized it was the angels just letting me know they're here. Not much else happened for a couple of days. Unlike others, I didn't notice myself being calmer or any lessening of temper or different reactions to stuff. On Friday I had hit a bad, bad place. Really low, really down, and not wanting to be here anymore. I was honestly ready to go home. A dear friend was able to talk me down and calm me down, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Friday night I had a dream -- well, more like an ethereal meeting -- in which I met my angels, and we chatted in a language I didn't recognize, but understood. One of them, whose face was covered (not sure about the reason for that), came up behind me and said "Hey! Kookaburra (he actually used my real name, but for the sake of anonymity...) -- Kookaburra has ascended to heaven to be with angels and join the cosmic stream." Then he took my hand led me around the room while telling me some pretty intense stuff, again in a language I didn't recognize, but understood. I told him how cool I thought that was, and then I felt sparks go off in my head, and woke up.

Intense!!! I know what I think it all means, but would love to get your opinions on this one.
