A message from beyond or just glitch city?
I almost hesitate to post this, but I would love to have the opinion of anyone in this group who might have a "hit" on what this was, or even what it was about.

Yesterday morning, I was already up and moving when I heard my iPhone "alarm" (harp music)that I set just in case I didn't wake up by that time. I tried to turn off the alarm but there was another message in a blue box in front of the alarm button. The message looked just like one of those you get when you have a text message, but there was no sender name. I could kick myself for not writing it down, but I guess I thought I could retrieve it somehow. What I think it said was something like, "To leave nothing undone" or "Nothing to be left undone".

The message is no longer on my phone that I can find, nor was there a sender. So, as I say, was it something more, or just glitch city??

:hi:

3. Yes. This. Exactly.

It is what you deem it to be. Truly. If it were me, I'd take it as a nice little note from the Universe. Because hey - why not? And who can validate that for you, anyway?? YOU get to decide what to do with it. Free will can be a lovely thing! :)

"Trust What You Get" - I wrote an E-book on that topic taken from my class in March. (Free excerpt is on my site, btw)

For reals: trust what YOU get.

4. Thanks, everyone...I hear that I need to trust myself.

And I do...I think what I was looking for was validation that I did "get something"...not so much trying to understand what I got, even though I did ask what you all thought "it" might mean. It was so fleeting; I cancelled the message quickly in order to turn off my alarm...and somehow just telling it helped me believe that it really happened, or something. My contacts with spirit are very familiar, but have always taken other, less concrete forms, as in visitation dreams and in what I think of as telepathic (nonverbal) communication. One of the things I asked the angels for was to help me be open to, and to develop more communication with spirit.

I knew this event was something that wouldn't be dismissed by this group as having some "rational" explanation, so I brought it here hoping just to let like-minded people support the idea that it was a real communication.

Right now I am dealing with a painful family issue after the recent death of a parent. While this message is meaningful in light of what's going on, it is difficult to interpret in terms of action I should take, but I am being led to that answer more each day.

I always do trust myself, and decide for myself, at the end of the day. In between, however, I take things to trusted friends to hear their take on things, which helps me find and hone my truth.

I hope that makes sense, and thanks for your kind support.

5. I understand why you were asking for input, FDB.
I wish that I had something that I could add to provide a bit more clarity, but it's not my strength. However, it's very cool that it happened, and I hope that it's a step toward the manifestation of your request for better communication with spirit.

I'm so sorry that you're going through a difficult time in reference to your parent's passing; I hope that you are able to resolve this issue very soon in a way that is for the highest good of all involved. Until then, I hope that you are able to find peace in the midst of the conflict.

:hugs:

7. Thanks, IHAD.
I think that the message was very comforting in a sense, on many levels, and it did feel like a real communication, except it was just so different. Thanks for your kind words about my situation, and I'm sure it will be resolved eventually. I've learned to be patient during times of grief, because emotions run high and energy runs low, and clarity seems to have fled for a time. :)

Always great to hear from you, friend!

6. Magic and miracles manifest in the everyday
If a bit of magic can "take the easy route" and manifest through practical paths, it will. So I'd say that's a big "yes"! :)

10. Is there
some way to make messages appear when you set the alarm? Like a reminder for the alarm? Is there a way you can look in that area of your phone? Or set another alarm? If there is, and you didn't type that to appear, that at least takes the mystery another step.

11. Well, there is a way to set a reminder for an event on your calendar,
and you can type a message there that would appear with the reminder. I'm pretty sure the alarms don't have that function on my phone. I'll poke around a little more, but one way or the other I know I didn't set that particular message. I'm with you, though, I like ruling out any of the "logical" explanations so I can believe more in the mystery. At this point, I'm just about all in on the spirit message side. :)

12. nice!
Take it to heart as a 'zing' from your angels, guides, etc...

here's one:
I got a phone call from the 'other side' in college...
It was October 1996, I don't even recall the situation of my life at the time, or what I was 'working on'
it may have been right before i got involved with my drumming circle, which has been a major influence and connection to spiritual people in my life even now...
anyway
the phone rang at the same time for three nights in a row.
dead asleep, something like 3 am
first 2 times, nothing, no dial tone, just silence - remember this was before caller ID, lol
third time, clearly as day
my grandmother's voice (?)
"did you write it yet?"
I was still half asleep and don't know what I said..
but that phrase has stuck with me

...and no, i don't think I *have* written IT yet ;)

13. actually, this is a phenomena
I'm not sure what the search terms would be, but I've read references to it across discussion groups on the i'net.

I've had it happen to me many times. A few examples:

--the night my Bitsey (kitty) died, I did a search for "garden books" at Barnes Noble and what turned up but books about how to handle the loss of a pet. She was sitting on the windowsill at the time of the search and I wish now I'd paid attention to it and never let her go out that fateful night.

--I made two internet friends on the same afternoon who didn't know each other but lived in the same area in Maryland. The friends were both very significant in my development as a a person (as I look back on it now).

--this one just happened to me:

I teach people to be webmasters. Right now I have a class of aspiring webmasters and in the class is this woman who has had two head injuries. She is a major PITA to both me and the other students because she's very selfish and doesn't think about others. Her handicap drags down the progress of the class.

We are now entering a section of the class that has to do with server and other back end technologies. I put in a search term for ebooks on that topic in our college's extensive e-library and among all the books came up one on...."head injuries."

I've had numerous others that I've written about here that involve cell phones ringing.

Maybe I'll search around and see if what the name of this phenomena is. I'd really like to know this. I enjoyed reading your story, and I would take that message seriously.

Cher

15. Synchronicity?

Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronicity

It's a topic that's come up here several times in the past as well.

*edit*
It would help if I spelled things correctly, too. >.>
