Melancholy, and a song
I'll out myself as a fan of American Idol. Adam Lambert was not my favorite Idol performer, but this was my favorite Idol performance.

I don't consider this uplifting but I do consider it genius. For some reason I have been playing it over and over today. Was it...............astrological? M class flares? Weird strange news from one of my three daughters?

It makes me want to lose myself in music, but that is for another lifetime!

Hey it IS a MAD WORLD!

1. I love that song and Adam does
it so well, I think better than Tears for Fears. I know it's melancholy but it kind of makes me feel better, it's like I'm not the crazy one :) I think.

Don't watch American Idol either but I rooted for Adam because he's a local kid.

2. I think you are right
Acknowledge that the world is nuts and therefore I fit in a bit better. :silly:

My mom used to say,

"Everyone is crazy but thee and me, and sometimes I wonder about thee." She always laughed right after she said that.

3. Wow that's a beautiful rendition. I haven't heard it until now. I
always liked the version from Donnie Darko (by Gary someone) better than the one done by Tears for Fears. I'm not an Idol watcher but Adam Lambert IMHO is a real find.
