The fear vibration
Wowza - is it strong *everywhere*! Yikes.

I wrote a post about it over at Practically Intuitive about not going into it even though it feels like it's everywhere: Rise Above The Fear - love to hear your thoughts on it.

Also, if you leave a comment over there, you'll be entered to win a copy of my E-Book "Trust What You Get" so speak up - here OR there!

Working in the financial services field (as I have for 28 years), I feel like I wallow in it daily so one of the things I do is to hold that light for others (clients, especially, but sometimes the Financial Advisors who are overwhelmed with responsibility and concern) so that they can keep walking through it.

I'm not even dipping my damn toe into GD these days. It's hellish.

How do you stay out of that vibration?

1. My current frame of mind is so non-typical for me
but I am not in the same fearful state I was earlier this summer. I think it is because I am busy getting to do stuff I have been planning (and putting off several several times) for the last few years. I am out of my personal comfort zone on a lot of it but the drive to get this 'off the ground' is all I can think about. The outside world is crazy - so I am micro-focused on this little patch here I can affect. And that patch a little further over there - I can do something about that too. I think I reached my maximum fear saturation point and thought, I just can't stand this anymore - time to act and move beyond this!

Of course, setting all the official start dates for the last week of August to avoid any residue from this crazy month...

I love your blog... will head over there now.

2. I was really stoked for progress,
pretty much fearless this past weekend, getting it done, even with frustrations, but yesterday and this morning, maybe it is from lack of refreshing sleep, I feel like I've kinda lost my gumption,
however, I find whenever I find myself in intense fear or whatever that horrid zone is, I take deep breaths, involve myself with nature, meditate if I can. It helps a great deal.

I think the lethargy that others have proclaimed hit them last week, have found me today...

3. GD is not pleasant right now
It appears that people purposefully post antagonistic "bait" statements for the sole aim of starting a fight. Annoying, and childish, but they're really going at it over there.

Staying away from that insanity.

4. I was terrified..
of B*sh, especially after 911. That was healed when Howard Dean came on the stage. He gave me confidence to resist.
I never thought they had weapons. .. And my gut was telling me things that didn't appear as they really were.

I have some personal frights involving finances. But I seem to be working my way out of that fear.

All in all, I haven't been truly terrified since 2003.

Glad to hear others are transmuting the fear into a positive experience.

5. Funny coincidence
My Facebook status today is: "Fear is qualified for a job, just not conductor on the brain train".

I am so sick of fear running my life and have tried to do things to help myself not get as much into that pattern again. I am trying very hard to keep my head where my hands are and I've been keeping them on my sweet dog on my new knitting project. I can glance at GD for threads I can actually stand to read but try to pass by those that would get me totally infected with the fear virus.

I am worried about all that is going on in the world but I can only do something about my little corner of it, I am hoping I am starting to finally understand that in life.

14. My other interest takes care of that!!!
My Dog, Layla! (Pictured below) We got her as a pup a year ago, she's a little herding type mutt and won't take no for an answer for our daily run, and evening walk, or dog park, or tennis ball....... LOVE HER. She even gets my couch potato husband out of the house.

She also aids in keeping my fear somewhat in check, I look at the things that concern her, water in her bowl, meal times, will someone play with her, treats, and snuggles; she cares not one bit about human stupidity. (She does have a problem with squirrels though, and some racial prejudice toward cats).

Knitting with her curled up on the couch beside me is one of my favorite things.

That mental image made me feel good and get a few chills :D I'm so glad you have Layla.

I say this with some caution. I've always had cats. And sure, I love 'em and care for them. But dogs.
I never knew how much I could love an animal until I got my own little Sissy. I don't want to slight kitties.
Maybe it's because she returns so much love and is so simple, as you wrote. I love her until it hurts.
I never bargained for that with dog ownership.

20. Same here Why Syzygy
I never thought I could love an animal being this way, even though I did have a cat that I was incredibly close to about 19 years ago. In fact I had a dream about that cat a few months before getting Layla, I was somehow visiting him in a wonderful house in the countryside and he was so very happy with this new family in this wonderful place and when he stood up and walked lazily around he had sparks coming out of his black fur. He turned and slowly walked back into his house and I think he was telling me it was ok for me to have another animal companion, that he was fine. I didn't know what it meant until we got Layla, then it made sense. I don't think I had gotten fully over his loss before because I was in a bad spot at the time and family took him and my little calico away from me without ever telling me where they took him. His name was Xanth and he was a huge black cat.

21. GTRO and Why Syzygy, I agree
We have two kitties (or as they prefer, kittehs, LOL) that we adore, but I fell in love with our sweet chocolate Lab, Moose. I never thought I was a dog person till we got him; now I can't imagine my life without him.

Don't tell my husband: I love him, I missed him, but even four days in NYC without my pup was agony!

6. I must be a fatalistic idiot ....oops
I'm not scared about the changes happening...in fact i am a little excited about it...i just want this old paradigm to fucking crumble already!

It really isn't fear, though there is a HUGE wave of it all over the planet right now. either i am really grounded into the earth and holding that vibration of healing HER solidly, or i am just not getting the danger of it all...either way, just focusing on the NEW EARTH is what is driving me these days....I want this change, and yea, i know it's gonna look scary and icky in some places, but I'm not worried. just ready to go when it is time.

in fact, i think that's almost a part of the cleaning and clearing energy, too...like preparing for something. maybe it is just busywork, but it feels appropriate.

hang in there, don't let the turkeys get you down. this shift IS happening...and we will be okay.

also, my shaman friend said that since the fear is so thick on the planet, just keep grounding and sending GAIA the light & love she needs to be okay, the rest is gonna take care of itself...

7. One thing that helps me is to think of the past.
Edited on Thu Aug-11-11 01:28 PM by I Have A Dream
When I think of what people went through in the past just to survive, I am grateful to be living at this time. When I think about how hard people had to work, I realize that my working a lot of extra hours right now is an anomaly rather than the rule, and I'm again grateful. When I think of the religious persecution that occurred in the past, I'm grateful for today's comparative religious freedom. When I think what women went through in the past, I'm grateful.

I think that looking at the past and realizing how far we've come in so many ways helps me to put things into perspective. I don't romanticize the past as many do; the vast majority of people had it very hard, and mere survival took every ounce of many people's energy. There were good things from the past that we have lost, but when I weigh the two, the present wins.

I am grateful to be living today.

Another thing that helps me is playing uplifting music. It's amazing what a difference it makes in reference to my outlook on life.

Finally, I think that it really helps to do what we can to take care of our physical bodies. For me, it's making sure that I get enough sleep. For others, it might be making sure that they eat well, exercise, etc. If we have a higher vibrational level by default, we'll be less likely to be affected. Oh, and I just realized this morning that I've been a complete vegetarian for 10 years. (Not eating meat really helps me, personally.)

12. congrats on your 10 years without meat!
Being vegetarian is a good thing in my book, even though I consume poultry, the more meatless meals I consume the better my diet generally.

I agree on your methods of dealing; calming music, there are even binaural and meditation apps for cell phone, I have discovered, my dog and I took a LONG wonderful nap to one of those over the weekend; taking care of one's physical self (I include everything you mentioned plus specific supplements, especially some that help with anxiety problems like Inositol, B vitamins), and of course very fresh veggies and fruit, which it is the season for right now.

I've thought a lot on the stories my grandparents told of their childhoods quite a lot lately. My grandmother especially since she was orphaned at age 6 when her mother died, before anyone had ever heard of social services or child support from fathers that desert their children. Then she got to experience the depression as a teenager, so much fun. We have come quite a long way, I'm glad you reminded us to remember that. We have a long way to go to be a truly civilized society, but we have definitely gained ground.

You are always so creative with your meatless meals. (I remember your posting about them in the past on Facebook.)

I think that supplements can make a big difference too. I'm glad that you mentioned them.

My grandmother had a similar background. Her mother died, and her father left her with anyone who was willing to take her in. As soon as she'd get comfortable, he'd come and take her away again. I can't even imagine going through that as a child. :(

9. Basically I find it really hard to stay out of fear.
One main reason why is a thought I have: Isn't "staying out of fear" possibly the felt experience of only caring for yourself? I can understand the vibrational reasons, but, from a social point of view, doesn't staying out of fear by removing myself from things that cause me fear mean that I'm enabling a divide-and-conquer strategy on the part of the very few and powerful? What more could they want, than that everyone look away as the worst happens?

I'm judgmental about this, I suppose. I certainly feel like a failed light warrior when it comes to fear. I try not to judge other people on this. It's like a fear "depression spiral". I wish I could solve the problem, but I don't feel like I have much in the way of effective mechanisms.

11. I understand your point, bigmonkey.
For me, I'm much better able to help other people when I'm not in a negative vibrational state. I trust that the Universe will bring to me the situations where it wants me to help. It always has. When one of these situations presents itself, I do what I can, and I happy to be of service.

I feel that the Universe uses me to work with individual people rather than larger situations. It seems that others are used the opposite way. Both kinds of people are needed, so it all works out.

I am certainly not blind to the needs of people, especially those who are currently terrified. Sometimes the thing they need most is to talk to someone who isn't currently in that state.

Bottom line: I don't feel that I have to bury my head in the sand to keep fear from controlling me.

17. I believe it is the other way 'round.
The Evil Doers love for us to feel fear. They WANT us to feel uncertain and perpetual "danger".
It is when we release and move out of the fear that THEY most FEAR us!

I'm fairly sensitive. But when NATO started blowing Libya away less than a week after the Japanese disaster,
I felt like I was hit in the stomach. The world is a dangerous place BECAUSE OF these people!
They live to terrify citizens of the planet. That is, as long as you don't get bombed to smithereens.

It also works in your microcosm. You are much freer to be of service to others if you have a firm mental condition.

all just imo

15. I don't think that it is fear for me
but despair, which i grew up with. And that's been pretty rare - thank Goddess - in my adult life. For some reason the two times I've been there, angels came along without even asking and snapped me out of it in big ways. At this point, I trust that somewhere within me there is a channel or link that draws me to who and what I need when I can't find the words to ask or an avenue to pursue.

The first time, I was in my late teens/early 20's and happened to run into a good friend who I hadn't seen in a few years. We got to talking about our lives and he just happened to have in his pocket Dr. Viktor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning" that he eagerly gave to me. From there I was able to dissect despair into its many facets - the biggest being fear. Frankl, a psychiatrist and a Holocaust survivor developed logotherapy. He was able to - and was a big proponent - of finding bliss even in the worst of conditions. He was a phenomenal man!

The second time, 30 year later, even Frankl couldn't help because the despair was not about me. But I was pulled out of the depths this time and led into the depths of my spirit by IHAD in introducing me to Metta    tears of Joy and Gratitude because there are no words to describe it.

23. One of my discourses I did on The Law of Thought
Edited on Thu Aug-11-11 07:23 PM by MagickMuffin
The Summary:

• The Great Law of Thought is one of that governs the Spiritual Universe. It connects with other Laws and influences all of human activities and experiences.

• Proactive thought expresses attributes of the Creator-God: Love, Compassion, Understanding, Tolerance, and Patience.

• Reactive thoughts evoke chaos, confusion, hatred, and negative energies, in the "enemy".

• Learn to be Proactive instead of Reactive.

• Visualize Cosmic Light and Love flowing through you, stopping negative energy from circulation.

• Gossip and destructive words can be broken into pieces by the power of counter-thought of unconditional LOVE, PEACE, HARMONY. Do so with GENTLE STREAM of warm compassion.

• The action of restraining negative thoughts renders the thought vibration harmless. Cosmic Law sends it back to the originator with cosmic power which may disintegrate it.

• The 1st step is to understand the meaning of "harmlessness" and to commit to its practice, harmlessness in thought, motive, feeling, speech, and action.

• Eliminate and resist thoughts of "getting back" or retaliation with those who seem to offend you.

• From the Light of the Soul, reexamine preconceived attitudes and feelings about persons, situations, places, or conditions. Make a determination to become harmless, and to have a positive attribute, strong and considerate.

• When our powerful emotions originate within the undisciplined personality, they are ill conceived. Nevertheless, they are also still creative and produce harm. Harmlessness must be introduced and developed as an expression through our emotional and mental nature. Let you LOVE, shine through your Soul.

My take on it:

Try to remain positive.

One surrond yourself with Loving Light. Shield yourself from gossip. Let the gossip end with you. Do not continue in spreading it. Spread Love to those who may be causing you pain or distress.

Now of course I still continue to strive to follow these guidelines. And going to GD will really test ones fortitude. One needs a VERY strong Shield to venture over there.

I will read more on this thread when I return later this evening, as I'm certain there are a lot of good info here. I just wanted to add my Thoughts before leaving.

25. It is never an easy path, that is for certain
I too, stumble but recognize it and try to correct that behavior in myself. Then I have to make the apologies to make sure I haven't damaged a friendship.

Being a Mystic is something that still requires work. But being able to recognize when we screw up is a reward in and of itself.

So, don't be hard on yourself and treat yourself with kindness, love, and harmlessness. And try to remember the Laws of Thoughts. I will continue to work on myself and try and catch myself when I start to falter.

 to you Kimmers :-)

26. You've nailed it.
Edited on Thu Aug-11-11 11:01 PM by DeSwiss
At least for me. I've been addicted to DU since 2006 and its a hard habit to quit. Quitting smoking proved to be easier. But I realized a few months ago that all I was doing in firing back broadsides and posting threads about the fear and chaos that is underway, was advancing the spread of that fear and chaos. Even when I tried to counter the fear comments of others which ticked me off. I can't tell you how many posts I've deleted in GD (and elsewhere) before posting them or how many I've gone back and deleted after posting them (just did a moment ago). It comes to me late sometimes, but I realized that there is no future in giving FEAR a stage and/or an audience.

As the article you posted states (which speaks truth in volumes and I loved BTW), there's a lot of fear out there now. What some may not know is that this is being drudged-up by the http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2010-08/strange-solar-particles-might-be-affecting-earths-radioactive-materials-scientists-say">Adamantine Particles being beamed to us http://gayleparker.com/AdamantineParticles.aspx">by Sol and the Universe Itself to awaken us before the next phase, and all the goop and crap inside of us is coming to the surface. But that is as it is supposed to be. The same radioactive anomalies that http://news.softpedia.com/news/The-Sun-Influences-the-Decay-of-Radioactive-Elements-153704.shtml">scientists at Purdue and Stanford University discovered last October that are speeding up the radioactive decay rates are also speeding up everything else. Including us. This too, is nothing we should fear.

On the other hand, we can't hide from the conflict we see. It's not so much an exercise in staying out of the fear vibration as it is identifying it for what it is as soon as possible -- and then detaching from it. Then it won't bother you quite as much. Soon it'll become second nature to us and it won't bother us at all. We have to learn how to step back from the fear as the chaos becomes greater. And it is is going to become much greater than what it is now.

- We have learn how to be "in it, but not of it." I hope this helps......

Human BEings fear chaos as much as they fear darkness and we guide that both are teachings of illusion. Chaos is a natural occurrence and there needs to be some form of chaos to break down that which no longer serves. It is becoming more and more apparent that the way that human BEings have created their societies is incapable of sustaining those who are awakening. Whilst you work with restrictive monetary institutions, whilst you see each as separate and competition exists then there can be no support. We guide you to detach from the apparent chaos and stand back from the fear that is being planted by illusion and it is being planted.

Many have furthered the teachings of illusion by spreading this fear amongst their closest and nearest, we guide you to be fully aware of the vibration of the words that you use to other humans at this time. Now is the time that many have waited for, now is the time for those awakened to step into their power and LIVE the new. It is only by living the new that those in chaos can find their way out of the chaos. As more and more succumb to the illusion of “the end” more are beginning to question their very existence. For many who are asleep have been triggered by events and are now starting to ask what is happening. For many this is a wake up call as they realise that the world is not as they thought it was and they do not resonate with all that is happening. We ask those who are awake and walk the path of a lightworker to hold the space for those who are awakening. It is not the lightworkers role to lead those awakening as each walks a different path.

"Chaos is what we've lost touch with. This is why it is given a bad name. It is feared by the dominant archetype of our world, which is Ego, which clenches because its existence is defined in terms of control. The real truth that dare not speak itself is that no one is in control, absolutely no one. This stuff is ruled by the equations of dynamics and chaos. There may be entities seeking control, but to seek control is to take enormous aggravation upon yourself. It's like trying to control a dream."

28. Wonderful discussion here!
Thanks, guys, for jumping in and sharing.

I have a lot of sites (HuffPo being just one) that I no longer visit because I realized how hopeless I felt after reading stuff there. The anger and rage is palpable but, as DeSwiss notes, that's as it should be in order for us to come awake. Still, it's icky, you know?

I don't ever (EVER!) watch network news or go to sites that traffic in low vibrations. I keep an eye on the news, yes, but don't go into it more than that. TPTB have so much to gain from creating hopelessness because that creates apathy and that makes it easy to take away more from everyone else.

So, I keep doing my thing in my world and trying to hold the Light where I am called to do so.

45. Here is something more on the subject of fear:
Edited on Sat Aug-13-11 02:39 PM by DeSwiss
The high vibration that many of you have attained may waiver at times when illusion plays upon the seeds of fear within you that you may not have looked at or even realized were there. We guide you dear ones to detach from the dramas that are created by illusion to lower your vibration and to pull you back down. It is perfectly possible to maintain a high vibration and live in truth whilst being surrounded by those who are still asleep.

The symptoms you experience when you are affected by illusion may vary but may not be pleasant. These symptoms occur as you try to rationalize two different worlds and vibrations at the same time. We guide you to be wary of trying to live in this way as the illusion will try to gain more and more access to your vibration and will ultimately lower it once more.

The illusion is aware of how humans feel or it would not play to your fears. For many humans across the planet the fear is so huge that they feel smothered by it, they see no way out of the fear, so big has their mind created the fears. We guide you dear ones to move into your hearts, fear cannot reside in the human heart when it is connected to, for love is there and love will transmute fear.

Those across the planet consumed with fear will attach to the drama BECAUSE of the fear that resides within themselves. They are unable to see that it is their energy that fuels more fear and creates more drama.

Many will try to tell you that you are not living in reality, that you have detached from the world and that you are on the edge of madness. Look at this statement dear ones and absorb what they try to tell you for one moment. In a world that puts money before lives, puts war before peace and continually reinforces pain, many will tell you that you do not live in reality?

The nightmare that is playing before the eyes of many is created from the mind of many. It is their fears made solid. Their fears are so strong that they cannot detach so they try to connect more to their fears to make them feel secure. But security is not found in fear dear ones it is only found in love. LOVE is the only vibration that offers security.

Each human being alive on the planet has responsibility for their own actions, no one can MAKE them do anything that do not agree to on some level. Many live through the fear of others thoughts and feelings, this is illusion. This is illusion maintaining that others have a right to judge you and accept or reject you. The truth dear ones is that NO ONE sits in judgment of YOU but YOU.

No one can accept or reject you apart from YOU. Many reject themselves, many denounce their skills due to living in the illusion that those skills must match what illusion projects as being acceptable. Many humans live under the illusion that they must fit under a label or they are not worthy. This is judgment dear ones and no one sits in judgment of YOU but YOU.

It is important to try and remember that for everyone -- we all learned how to fear very early in our lives. And the system of illusion has reinforced this fear everyday, every hour, and every second that it has gotten the chance. It is only when we were willing to question the basis of that fear, which has led us to understand what it is, and why it exists. As Archangel Michael has said: "http://lightworkers.org/channeling/129835/are-you-listening-message-archangel-michaelashtar-sheran">For what is fear, other than simply not knowing?"

Remember that we are all light beings whose vibration has been slowed down to form matter. But we are still light beings. We all have an electromagnetic resonance, some what like a radio wave, except in our case our resonance is not limited by time or space. When fear overtakes the masses for the Awakened it is like trying to transmit your frequency within an area of extreme interference. Fear interference. Yet if all of us were able to send out our light, send out our heart-felt feelings of love and forgiveness, we could change the world in an instant. Which is why the illusion chooses fear to maintain control, it is the least common denominator.

But it only takes a few lightworkers to hold a space for all the others -- which is what we must concentrate upon doing now. As the Adamantine Particles from the central sun and from Sol intensify, further steps toward Full Consciousness will be realized. We will increasingly begin to experience telepathy and precognition of events, and the lies of fear will become more and more apparent. Which will result in fewer and fewer adherents to fear. Fear will have nothing left to hang its hat upon. And when that happens, it will be time for fear to leave us. Its purpose will have been served. This is what is happening now.

So keep this in mind as the chaos swirls around us. Remember that the battle has already been won. We are evolving very quickly now, gathering all aspects of our multidimensional selves together.

- All are ONE....

32. To me, it may not be easy, but it is simple:
In each moment, it is a choice to Choose Love...and thus a higher vibration.

Also, I think how each of us reacts to fear -- and how we Choose Love and what form that takes -- is valid and worthy, so long as we're truly honest with ourselves.

Personally, I believe it is rare for human beings to be completely honest with ourselves; many don't even know how, nor what it looks/feels like. Not really. So being honest with others is equally rare.

For those who respond to fear by Choosing Love which takes the form of focusing on self, in order to keep a higher vibration, so long as it's done with authenticity and not avoidance (and, again, only the individual knows their own truth and it requires complete honesty with oneself), I perceive that as a perfect choice.

For others who respond to fear by Choosing Love which takes the form of seeming to dive into the fear and chaos to take positive action with the intention of trying to alleviate fear and suffering, I perceive that as a perfect choice as well.

So long as there is honesty with ourselves about our intentions, and how we truly feel (the danger of being sucked into the despair and fear is indeed real; we all recognize that), then we can do our best at any given moment. One person's best is different from another's, not greater or better, just different.

There are no doubt many choices which are perfect and valid and worthy, and beneficial in ways we may never understand or observe. To me, it does come down to Love, and part of that Love is being completely honest with ourselves about why we make the choices we do and how we truly feel about those choices.

Thank you all for sharing your wisdom and insights, and to MC for the original post and fabulous article which triggered this sharing.

34. Gosh, this so reminds me of the video
I found of Dr. Frankl a few days ago. There's too much in your response, OGR, to relay here. I'm just going to post the video for anyone interested to compare with what you just wrote.

Are you sure you're not an MD, PhD in psychiatry? :D

35. From Matthew re: Fear
How timely, eh? Gotta love synchronicity!

"Your foremost assistance as lightworkers is to lessen fear, so do not hide your light under a bushel, so to say, but let it shine brilliantly. The energy of your calmness and confidence will emanate to those nearby and help them in that respect. Sharing your knowledge with whoever is willing to listen is important as well. Some will ponder it, those on the verge of awakening will embrace it, and others will react negatively, as close-minded persons do rather than consider that new information may be valid."

Go shine your light the best you can, peeps! We CAN haz brilliance!!

PS: new message out - got it in my mailbox but site not updated yet

people who wouldn't know reality if it was licking them somewhere.

What I'm picking up about the future isn't pretty, but it's not as awful as many here seem to think. So, I stay out of The Fear by avoiding people who wallow in it. Working for me just fine.
