Rick Perry Shakes Up the GOP Field

Governor Rick Perry announced his run for the presidency last Saturday during a Mercury retrograde phase, leading to a vast re-thinking of the 2012 contest. And if his speculative birth time of 6:30 pm is correct (see NewsScope; August 1, 2011), then he entered the race precisely as his progressed Moon entered Capricorn, marking the beginning of a highly organized campaign.

1. His chart is horrendous
and is precisely, exactly, on the money, 100%, what we don't need in any way for this or any country. Period.

5. In Texas this law was passed in May..
Edited on Mon Aug-15-11 05:16 PM by kimmerspixelated
From Huff. Post

www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/19/texas-sonogram-abortion-law_n_864516.html

Under the law, women will have to wait 24 hours after the sonogram before having an abortion, though the waiting time is two hours for those who live more than 100 miles from an abortion provider.

"Governor Perry was pleased to sign this important legislation, which bolsters our efforts to protect life by ensuring Texans are fully
informed when considering such an important decision,'' said Katherine Cesinger, a spokeswoman for the governor.

A sonogram is an imaging technique using high-frequency sound waves to produce images of a developing baby in a woman's uterus.

Under the measure, women will be offered the option of hearing the heartbeat and seeing the sonogram image, which they may decline. But the woman's doctor must describe the image, explaining the size of the embryo or fetus and the presence of organs and limbs.

Okay they don't have to look at it, but the doctor has to describe! Insanity!

6. Sicko.
I haven't looked at the chart of such a monster in a while, and I'm not sure I should. I still actively avoid thinking about *'s chart, and I'm not sure I want to go wading into the mess of another neoconservative creature like Rick Perry.

9. Do you have any specific insights, Rick?
My gut tells me that if he gets the nomination it will be a horrible race and come down to the wire; Obama would have a hell of a fight trying to win against him. It could easily become another stolen election if that happens -- they don't call him Slick Rick for nothin'!

But given the current political atmosphere, there are subtle vibes that TPTB do not want Perry in the running and are working on sniping him down.

No matter what happens he's certain to rally the evangelical Christian base behind him (and could ultimately split the Teabagger/Republican vote depending on who gets the nomination).

10. I don't think TPTB want Perry or Bachman, and probably not Romney
either. They'll have to come up with someone, tho, and it will be interesting to see just who will be the chosen one.

11. Jeb Bush?
After this clown car finally empties out he'll be left, and, because he's not blatantly messed up, he'll look like a savior.

15. I understand that the Bush family political machine/Rove
don't like him/can't stand him. They have given Huntsman the nod through Jeb Bush. I think they are holding back as this is very early in the election process. I think they are looking to let Perry peak early and then demolish him starting in January running up the primaries. (my feeling on this). I don't think Perry is electable presidential wise no matter how many squeals he is getting from the media. Bachmann is dead on the water. Maybe they are waiting for Romney and Perry to bloody each other first. Why not let someone else take the fall for the dirty work?

Perry will out himself. His incredibly huge ego and delusions of granduer will show people for what he is. He is capable in getting the TP crazy vote, and maybe even some party faithful Repugs but not the women, independents, minorities, Labor, etc. He only received 39% of the vote in the governor's race.

It is really Obama's election to lose which he is already working very hard to do (Compromise is not an election winning strategy). His message is not inspirational, his performance is at best disappointing and if he does not change, his voters will stay home.

16. Obama has seen nothing yet in terms of the country losing faith in him
with Neptune on the country's Moon and squaring Obama's midheaven, prospects look bleak for him. Delusions, disinformation and downright underhandedness are at blame and a very ignorant public has been blaming him since day 1.

Still, I hope for the best but there's a whole lotta people that need a whole lotta education like quick.

and you hear GW Bush. That's from my Republican husband, who is incredibly unenthusiastic about the republican field.
