what do you think about 'beings,' 'entities' or whatnot...?
Okay, I am not a 'disbeliever' i just ordinarily choose to interact with 3D - So it's just hard for me to wrap my head around sometimes. And I think my Christian background also makes me wary of things other than angels. Like it's a trick or something alien...which are all just judgements I know. (And monsters or demons just don't exist in my reality at all, so i am not worried or afraid of that)

I know that there are astral beings, goddesses, fairies, dryads and nyads and all sorts of devas, etc... so why wouldn't I believe that there could be actual beings that we not only interact with, but have contracts and karma and issues with? Why couldn't it be possible for more than just angels or light beings teaching us lessons?

So I have a reading from a friend and she tells me I have a contract with a be-ing and that is part of my current transition and soul work that i am slogging through. It's been with me for a number of lifetimes and has to do with hanging around me and encouraging certain behaviors. I don;t see it as something I have to 'rid' myself of. I have been taught energy techniques and other ways of changing contracts with people - how to move something out of my space and re-fill. So I plan on continuing what I am doing in shifting my self and my choices, and work on the energetics as well during my daily meditation. no problem. But the idea that it it a be-ing...just is sometimes hard to wrap my head around in a 'small brain' level. you know what i mean?

What's your take on it?

1. I grew up in a superstitious household
where every misfortune was caused by curses from the outside. I totally moved away from that because I couldn't stand the thought of not having control of my own life and simply stopped believing in them. I think if we believe in varying degrees of being, from lower levels to higher levels of spirit, to those who've incarnated and those who haven't, I'm not casually dismissing the idea of entities anymore. So I think negative entities exist but we still have control of ridding their influence through good and strong energy work.

I think your point of moving things out and refilling it with good energy is bang on.

2. ya, exactly...,
and i know my friend who was reading the energies was not implying any specific vibration, nor was she saying negative icky...cuz believe me, she's seen negative ickies in my space before too! lol

and i am not interested in 'getting to know' whatever it is...just working on vaporizing that contract...cuz that's the piece...

6. Sorry, FL. Didn't mean to turn the energy into
a bad one. I've just always associate entities with negativity. But I hope that your contract with it ends positively. I wonder if you have any ideas of behaviors it's encouraging - good ones, I hope!

8. no worries...
actually i just prefer neutral...though the behaviors it encourages could be seen as my addictions... so it's a positive chance for growth and release, but not good to keep in my space... does that make sense?

9. Absolutely! Sort of like learning a lot
about self from things that have irked me and emotional addictions.

3. Those ''beings,' 'entities' or whatnot...
...are what we aspire to become. Our sojourn here on Earth as "humans" is a testing ground (the most arduous one) wherein we prove ourselves worthy to move on to the next levels. In what we call our "past", ancient man referred to these beings as gods, or demigods and/or angels. What they were and are in fact are more highly evolved beings.

Since time is a concept unique to the lower vibrations of 3D it should come as little surprise that if the universe is adjudged to be 13 or so billion years old and the earth only 4.5 billion, then it would follow that there are most likely entities whose origins are much, much older than our own.

In ancient times, the people then had little or no context within which to understand the abilities of these entities, and modern man is little better. We prefer to ascribe super-human abilities to science, in ancient times they called it magic. Both cases were unknowingly correct - but in essence all are forms of energy manipulation.

We are all various forms of energy. The vibrations we emit determine what kind and what level of development we are as beings, and what expression our "beingness" takes.

- And yet even with all that, All Are One.....

''We're playing with half a deck as long as we tolerate that the cardinals of government and science should dictate where human curiosity can legitimately send its attention and where it can not. We cannot expect to cross the rainbow bridge through a good act of contrition; that will not be sufficient. We have to understand.

There is no dualism in the world of light ... One must realize that what is never mentioned is that if one moves at the speed of light there is no time whatsoever. There is an experience of time zero. One exists in eternity, one has become eternal ... One is then apart from the moving image; one exists in the completion of eternity.

Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness. And so to whatever degree any one of us, can bring back a small piece of the picture and contribute it to the building to the new paradigm, then we participate in the redemption of the human spirit, and that after all is what it's really all about. We have been to the moon, we have charted the depths of the ocean and the heart of the atom, but we have a fear of looking inward to ourselves because we sense that is where all the contradictions flow together.''

4. Sounds like you're describing a bodhisattva
Basic definition; "an enlightened being who, out of compassion, forgoes Nirvana in order to save others." I've also heard them described as a sort of "anti-angel" -- not demons per se, but the spirits who lead us into temptation so that we may learn to overcome and grow from the experience.

5. yes negative "entities" exist
We just don't have a perfect world. We certainly don't need to be hung up on it, or dwell on it, but to deny the existence of negative "entities" to me is the energetic way of putting your head in the sand. Wishing they weren't there, or saying they aren't in your belief system is just denial. And what is the cost of denial? Well, it is pretty impossible to get rid of something that you believe doesn't exist. What I do to keep all of this from freaking me out is the following:

1. I don't personalize them. To me they don't have eyes, ears, mouths or souls. I can't promise that is 100% true, because I am not one to put a face on God or angels either. I consider them "negative information" or "hangups".

2. Remember that everyone has negative information somewhere in their energy field. Every time a chakra is not spinning correctly, negative information (entities) are the cause. Anytime your body slightly "cringes" at a thought from the past, or at the thought of an encounter, or at the thought of eating a particular food, it is because of negative information (entity) in your field. Again, a lot of the issue here is definitional. If you think of it as just fact, and not as something spooky, it can help you "wrap your mind around this".

3. Drop the blame! People who grow up in fear based religion tend to feel overly guilty about the thought of entities. Try to get over that. The entities are not you. They are not. Don't own them. Get rid of them.

4. Here is why they don't freak me out--recognize your power over them! It is empowering to know that we have entities or negative information caught in our fields. Why? With training we can identify them, and rid ourselves of them. So, that is the opposite of freaky! We can avoid situations where we pick these things up, or we can get rid of them immediately. So knowing all this ultimately empowers us.

5. I reserve the right to add to this. Haha.

I can't comment on curses or the like. To me they are all just...........entities.........but not "souls".
