So, about the changes being made in my life

I decided about a month ago to dip my toe back into the acting pond & voila, stumbled upon auditions for one show in one of the local theater guild's announcements. I really had my eye on the 2nd play they were doing, but decided to go audition to get my foot in the door, so to speak.

Well, I ended up first being an understudy, but now I have the part in that first play. And yesterday, I got notification that I've been cast in the 2nd play as well!!

Now the 2nd play is "the Scottish Play" by Shakespeare & the part I was given is Hecate. Not only am I the queen of the witches, I get to scare the crap out of 'em in my one big scene. :evilgrin: The only issue is that this play is supposed to be "cursed," so if you could spare a few good vibes & light for me for the next few months (the play doesn't run until the first week of February), I'd appreciate it.

Don't worry about the Scottish Play--you'll be fine as long as you don't whistle onstage/backstage or carry a peacock feather. :D

I must admit I'm incredibly envious of you!!! I miss my days onstage and hope one day to get back in the game.
