Mother Earth Breathing - Looks like Yoga Breath

Jean Pennycook took a series of  time lapse photos of an Adelie Penguin colony on the Ross Sea in Antartica. The photos were taken every 45 minutes over a nearly 3-month period showing the penguins moving across the ice.    
 
What's more amazing is watching the ice "breathe" as tides push it up and down. Over the course of the three months, the ice shifts, gives up, and finally melts away.  While the photos took place over 3 months, the video is only two and a half minutes long.  It's visually compelling.

Did anyone figure out how long a full breath took?
I want to see if I can work out a ratio between human respiration and the earth's.
