This last week, I seemd to feel much less resistance.

I was amazed at the energy I seemed to have about getting things done( not just cleaning out and clearing, but not having excuses for things I've put off for years, such as the cabinet beneath the sink(not pretty)!! also other ugly jobs in the basement!!... and also I am more excited about something I have been working on falling into place. I should know next week just how things will gel...it's like someone took some long imbedded lead outta my butt!

But what I was also feeling, was an urgency...just like the "nesting instinct" the week before my child was born, quite common in mothers...so I thought it was interesting to notice this intense "movement" I'm still feeling.. It's like, I go through the house and find one box that needs to be cleaned or cleared(donation or consignment shop), and then I'm on to the next one. All the dirty jobs I've put off, are now suddenly really okay with me. Went thru this before for a coupla days back when the planets were telling everyone to clean their basement, but...What shifted? Did I finally(on some neglected levels) show up to my life, or has the new me been born??

I was just thinking the same thing, in fact. For me it manifested as getting the all-clear from my doctor about various health issues (nothing serious, just persistent) and finally getting some movement on the agent querying front.

The latter was really interesting--it's not like all of a sudden the agents became more accessible, but after a long dry period (no responses whatsoever), I found out some of my queries never got where they were going. This spurred me on to be much more mindful of how I structured my e-mails, and encouraged me to be more forward, double-checking with agents to make sure they got my stuff, tweeting them for information/clarification...all the stuff I never dared to do before. So it was more how *I* chose to handle things than a change in the overall situation; it was internally motivated instead of externally. And yes, there was a sense of urgency about it.

4. I was feeling that way, but I lost the feeling over the last

few weeks.

There have been some good reasons, though. I am having some dental work done. It is important. Also, I have had to keep up with some important people in my life, friends from the distant past, and current friends who deserve my attention.

I hope to get back to the renewing and clearing out in my house.

My husband is still doing his part, though. He has torn down the barn and is now dismantling the old machine shed.

I am still a nonsmoker.

5. YAY, Kimmers!

My old drafting table finally broke a few months ago. Things are tight and the one I really want, a computer table with a built in drafting board, is too sweet to even think about and too costly right now. I'd asked Mr. KOB if the mechanical parts were worth saving. Sure, he said, it was just the drawing board that could not hold on any longer.

I went into the "tell them it's a dream sequence" mode this week, because I can't have the awesome table yet. This morning I woke up knowing what to do with the parts and how to attach it to a bookshelf that's at a perfect height, plenty of leg room, elbow room, and storage. I can't believe that I still get to save on space. :bounce: Interesting that I had everything I needed all along.
