Starting Jan 2012 Tr Pluto w/conjunct my natal Moon in Cap

in the 8th house, no less-yikes. Any comments? advice? on this big tidal wave about to hit me. my mother is deceased and i have very few female relatives-so...am I setting it up to transit out of the body? ...8th house issues...
-if anyone has had this transit, I would appreciate any insight you may be inclined to share.

3. I went through it in '08/'09. Honestly...no biggie. Just some harmless emotional reformulating.

The biggest problem I had was an abusive ex-roommate who went OFF on me toward the end--a Plutoesque reminder to extricate myself from that relationship.

I also had some odd "no one can take me!!" moments re: my emotional fortitude and a willingness to confront deep issues. But other than that, it just wasn't everything the websites and books claimed it would be. Oh, and mine had an 8th house focus, too. (The Moon rules that house in my chart.) Things related to joint property and finance did come up, but were just not the major problems I thought they would be.

If the "big" Pluto/Moon potential issues are already out of your life (deceased mother, female relatives not an obstacle) I think your challenges here may be minimal. To be on the safe side, it might be best to avoid power abusers and financial risks (as much as is possible in this society anyway.) Other than that...enjoy the energy? It was quite a rush for me for a while.
