Blessed be, we have MUCH to be thankful for, eh?
Strange as it may seem, the days are still getting shorter and colder, but we are beginning to settle into this time. Gone is the time of mourning for summer and past that passed with All Hallows night... we are still walking steadily into midwinter...but something has shifted.
....and it is HERE we enter the warmth of our caves, and the HEART of our Selves and Loved ones. who is your Tribe? This is when we decorate with Light inside the darkness of winter. We gather closer to the fire, used to be we told stories and shared our songs. Food becomes a comfort as the richness we need for warmth and hardyness comes through in all things...the scents, the tastes, the vision of a home in the snow with the chimney smoking and that warm glow...that feeling of stomping the snow off your boots as you grab a steamy cup and sit next to the fire...
The stone for this time is Topaz, interestingly enough. It's golden glow is similar to the hearthfire we crave.
