Anyone getting bad vibes about Bush's trip
I have been picking up flashes about Bush and this trip. I have not had any intuitive
flashes in months but I have been picking up bad vibes. I feel strongly that there is
deception going on here big time. Like those who Bush trusts are lying to him big time.
Is anyone else picking up anything?

1. Do you think they're not informing him of Katrina tape?
He seems obvious, but what's new? He always does.

2. Yeah, I have felt that there will be an assasination attempt in Pakistan.
There seems to me to be a lot of leaking of information from within that damages him. I think there might be an attempt to remove him there and then make it look like terrorists.

4. The last thing we need is a martyr.
I just shudder to think of the asswipe being seen as a "martyr" to the fight on terra. I've always expected that the GOP would ultimately "give up" their boy when he became too much of a public liability. However, my expectation was that it'd be in the form of leaks and possibly even quiet discussions of impeachment if it got too bad.

I suppose it is possible that the CIA is tired of him scapegoating them and maybe the "rouge agents" are in Pakistan... I sure wouldn't want some of those guys mad at me.

let's think positive thoughts for Bush, hmmmm? I know, I know, the idea is repulsive, but--come on. An attempt alone could be disasterous.

Yikers! That is...potentially not good. Possibly explains why I just saw some rightist propaganda floating around in G.D. claiming that "Osama bin Laden" will supposedly crawl out from "his cave in Pakistan" if Democrats take back Congress. I kept thinking, "he's in Pakistan, now? What?"

7. Yes
Hi, just jumping in to agree. I've got a bad feeling about this trip too. Lately, when I see Bush it just makes me sad, like he's a tragic figure somehow (instead of an infuriating one). During the Vargas int., he was talking wistfully about retiring to spend time w/his family in Crawford, & I got the sudden sad sense that that isn't going to happen. I also don't like how the propaganda is now suddenly about how Al-Queda has a new "mastermind" in Pakistan. It feels like something could happen during this trip. But, this is probably nothing. Probably Bush will be fine. And I sure hope nothing happens - for his sake, & the country's sake. Cheney in charge is not my idea of a good time.

12. I think so too, so there probably wouldn't be that big of a
difference. I think He and Rumsfeld are running the country while sitting on their barstools with a pitcher of martinis between them. They only let Jr. know about their decisions on a need-to-know basis.

11. I agree with you too Marie
It's a "feeling" and that's all I can say - but watching the trip last night I just felt like he was "expendable" and killing him off would be the only hope they had of any kind of a bounce back at all - But one this is very clear to me, Bush can no longer handle the job and I think "they" know it too. Now with Bush Sr. being CIA - will they "pretend" to kill him and he'll go in hiding the rest of his days - or will they just kill him for politcal game.

I know that sounds crazy, but everything now IS crazy. Kentuck posted this in GD - and it so far has managed to stay there.

9. I dreamt just this morning that he, Laura and their entourage
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 01:49 PM by Cleita
were walking from some official transport, it could have been a limo or a helicopter. The dream wasn't clear about it. Then there was some shouting and Bush and Laura started running. There were something like rocks or maybe vegetables being thrown at them. That was all that I dreamed though. I didn't get what country they were in. There was also a dumpster against the wall of the building they were running into. I haven't figured out the metaphorical symbol of the dumpster unless it's about who he is.

On edit: Also, I forgot to mention that instead of running together Laura sprinted way ahead of Bush who had stopped for a minute, I think to figure out they were being attacked.

15. I think that he is in real danger
someone allied with him has moved away and no longer supports him, but supports those
who hate him, I get a strong feeling of this. I also get a sense that Bush has no
ability to be alert to what's going on around him. The bubble travels with him. Whether
this is a political danger or a physical danger, I don't know.

16. If some in that 5,000 have turned rogue, then he's not safe.
Historically, most hated dictators get done in by those closest to them if they don't kill themselves first. The most recent assassination that I can think of right now is Anwar Sadat of Egypt and also Indira Ghandi of India. Historically, there is Julius Caeser and Caligula in Ancient Rome. Hitler also had failed assassination attempts tried on him by members of his inner circle.

In the case of Jr., I wouldn't trust either Cheney or Rumsfeld.

or psychic moments on par with what's been expressed here, but when I've been thinking about Bush lately, what I've been thinking is, "if someone really wanted to take him out, that person would arrange for him to be embarrassed as viscerally and undeniably as Greg Stillson is in The Dead Zone; something that resulted in an incident impossible for even the base to defend, something on t.v." I don't even think the new video being passed around by MoveOn qualifies. Not enough people have seen it.

24. Hmmmm. Reminds of something that was once posted here about
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 09:26 PM by BlueIris
how Bush's downfall would begin only after his "handlers" had abandoned him. Based on some of the stuff that's been leaked, I would say SS bailed a long time ago, and this new "Katrina" tape may be evidence that someone who has even more personal access to Bush than his security folks has checked out. If, as you sense, he will be exposed as the result of misplaced faith in someone he currently trusts--well, there aren't many people on that list.

Just out of curiosity, do you get anything else about the person or entity who "no longer wishes to go along"? Man or woman? One person, several? I'm thinking of one person in particular who has held onto Bush and his interests for a while now. If that individual has sold him out, Bush is very vulnerable.

Couldn't tell you why. It's been especially bad the last couple of hours--anxiety everywhere, a general feeling of unpleasantness with a cause I can't identify. That sometimes happens when Bush himself is afraid (happened the week before Libby was indicted and two weeks after Katrina--even though I had curtailed my news intake/exposure to current events substantially during those times).

REALLY outrageous next, in a vain attempt to shore up some last-minute support from...somewhere (anywhere?) before his removal.

Like, appearing on The Daily Show, as he is alleged to have been invited to do many times.

Yes, I just watched the Oscars. Yes, I'm delusionally happy. No, I don't think this is actually going to happen.

32. My comments:
There are some very interesting points on this thread - stuff I haven't thought about. Now the thing about exposing Bush to humiliation and embarrassment and downright danger - that is interesting.

This past week, we've seen Bush travel to not only India, but ultra-dangerous Afghanistan and even worse, Pakistan. Bush is hated everywhere he goes. I've seen the photos of demonstrations, angry Hindus, ugly posters, hateful faces even on women.

I just posted on the Editorials forum: why on earth would they do this? Why send a man out to instill more hatred, more rioting and deaths? Especially when his numbers are tanking at home. And Pakistan of all places. We just killed 13 people in a botched-up bombing.

Also, there was a photo of Laura Bush last year. She went to Palestine to pay some kind of visit to a mosque (?). She had a black scarf around her head. She was surrounded by security people. You could see her, frozen with fear. She was crouching down as she walked. All I could think of was, why bother? Why are you doing this, you silly woman.
....but maybe there's more to the story, like exposing them both to risks.

When I think of President Cheney, I think of a smart, cunning man. He's the one who's running the show. Poor bumbling Bush just stammers and staggers, he can't do anything right. I've read that Cheney despises Bush.

I will try to stay tuned to the WH the next few weeks. Will report any thoughts.

38. Bush dream has me sorry for the guy.
Edited on Tue Mar-07-06 10:51 AM by crikkett
Where do you end recounting a dream when you practice lucid dreaming, by the way?

In my dream I worked in the White House and people were trying to 'manage' Bush, who was grieving, inconsolably. People were trying to herd him like you'd herd a drunk on a rampage... but he wasn't drunk, just greiving. I found out that a woman he was in love with for decades (I assumed a mistress) had died. In his grief he burned a gigantic ":12" (no quotes) into the front lawn with acid, and turned any clock he could find to 12:12 -- which I learned was the time on the day, decades ago, that he met this lady who died. Remarkably this meant he only turned clocks a little bit because it was close to noon in my dream. I tried to learn the name of the woman and it was Hanson, something like Marilyn Hanson.

At this point I was searching for more info on Ms. Hanson and I started directing the dream (so am I at EOD or does the dream continue to have significance?) and I learned that Ms. Hanson was a plump brunette, prettier and happier than Pickles, with a short flipped hairdo (think of the Warhol portrait of Marilyn Monroe, but brunette). I 'saw' her newsclip-style, sitting on the back of a convertible and waving to a crowd. I stopped work and spent the rest of the dream catching and riding a bus home.

Anyway, I woke up feeling sorry for the guy. Didn't think this deserved its own thread so I just found the closest * thread here to add to.

Take care,
C

I think this one seems to be a bit literal.

I would say that the clock being set forward would indicate that in the not too distant future we will see *co. break down and that he will have deep regrets (the mistress) about what he has done.

I've been ready for things to change for years and very little seems to really be happening. Maybe they're just working overtime trying to cover it up, like they're doing with the economy, but we've all been feeling that we're on the verge of that breaking point. It's like when you brace yourself, holding your breath, thinking it'll happen in a moment, and you're still holding your breath years later. I still believe we're on the verge, but I'm really struggling with my own patience, not one of my virtues.

43. That's interesting about the 12:12
I looked it up on a numerology site and found this:

121, 112, 1221, 2121, 2211, 1122 - If you are repeatedly seeing combinations of 1's and 2's, this is a message that our thoughts are like seeds that are beginning to sprout. You may have already seen some evidence of the fruition of your desires. These are signs that things will and are growing in your aspired direction. Keep the faith!
