Wild weather and seismic activity is there almost from the start in 2005, although it should taper off a bit after 4th, as the geocosmic stress factors associated with the January 3 lunar equatorial crossing die down. 2. Storm Spreads Snow From Rockies to East

That is the headline from an AP article today. If you pull up The Weather Channel on-line you will see a HUGE system across the central US spreading throughout most of the US, save the South. This is has been an unusual weather year...again!

3. Been raining in Central IN for 4 days ...

And it's supposed to freeze over tonight. Then they're predicting a dry weekend, and 4 more days of rain next week.

And most of it landed right at MY doorstep. Whassupwiththat? Seriously, the winds are high and the snow is drifting away from everybody else's doorway but mine. I'm not touching it until after tomorrow as snow is expected through noon tomorrow (9 maybe 12 inches).

7. I "feel" that weather modification is well underway, and it angers me.

The most visible aspect of WM is the damned Chemtrails that have been visible since 1999 and have increased dramatically since the re-selection of bu$h. Then, you've got HAARP, scalar waves and ELF submarine communications--all of which are doing Goddess-knows-what to the planet as a whole!

The point is: the weather is crazy enough by itself. What in HELL is Man trying to accomplish with these crack-brained operations?!?!?

8. It's been storming, more days than not,

for a week and a half leading up to today. It rained most of my week off for winter break, which really frustrated me. I had intensive time scheduled with a trainer to work with me and my 3 year-old filly while I didn't have to be at work, and most of it had to be cancelled.

I wondered why my boss told everybody there would be rain today; predicting rain in the desert with any accuracy is a difficult thing to do. I see that we are in the forecast for rain today, and all weekend. Today is fine, but there goes 2 more days with my horses. x(

Truly, we are dry enough to need every drop. I just wish it wouldn't fall during my precious days off, when I need to be outside with my horses.

Last week I was stranded for two days, and my street looked like the one in DRs pic; my house sits on raised ground, but the water was over the curb, past the easement, and working it's way into the front yard. I could have gotten out if I really needed to, but I would have had to wade through the flood, so I didn't.

I am so glad you are OK...this is getting strange isn't it? You get it first, then here in AZ then on to the midwest & east...and to have these things keep repeating!

My house is on high ground...right at the base of Thunder MT so if I am flooded you can kiss my whole town buh bye.

But yeah, we need the water...it is so nice to see the mountain ranges here all white for a change.( Glad I am not in Flag...it was a nightmare trying to get around there yesterday...happy to have a big tired SUV...lots of rocks & trees down in the canyon,too.)

well..it is intersting that we seem to be cleansed by water now...hmm...not that fire or wind is too fun either.....guess we are in the midst of it now...

10. Batten down the hatches, DR;

We got hit hard this morning. It waited for all of us to get to school, and about 10 minutes before school started it got literally dark outside and the sky just opened up.

This part is almost funny. I ran to open the door and let the kids in early; there is no sheltered area out there; no hallways. Just a bunch of trailers. The kids were standing on the ramp, shrieking. They don't see much rain; even when we do get rain, it doesn't usually rain hard. As I was unlocking the classroom door, a group of boys said, "Do we still have to take our spelling test today?" I grinned at them. They said, "But it's RAINING!" I laughed. And we went in and got to work. Until, an hour later, it started snowing. Then you couldn't keep them from the windows. It snowed for about an hour, and some slush was sticking; then it turned back to rain, and finally quit about 1:30. That was good; there was time for some of the water to run off before I got home. I only had to wade through standing water, not running water. It's supposed to go on this way all weekend. I'm tucked in nice and snug for the night, but my visit with the youngest son is cancelled; he was out of town for the holidays, and was supposed to be here tonight. He called me at work this afternoon to say he'd been turned back at one of the passes; closed, not because of snow, but because of mudslides.

You take care, and let's send all this water down to recharge the aquifer!

13. Etna erupts again

Mount Etna in Sicily has begun spitting fire and ash in its first volcanic activity recorded in more than a year.

The fissure opened up in a previous crater on the southeastern slope, 700 metres below the summit, spewing lava and a cloud of black smoke.

The authorities say the eruption poses no threat to residents.

Etna is the largest and most active volcano in Europe. Its last major eruption was recorded in 2001.

18. As of now, the sun is shining.

We've had some scattered light showers throughout the day, but the storm is mostly over. It's a matter of getting the roads cleaned up and opened, at this point. We're supposed to be partly cloudy, with a few showers here and there, through today, clearing up at night, and back to normal by tomorrow; clear, sunny, and dry.

I can hardly wait to get out and check all the springs; the little valley in the pics sits directly on top of the fault line. The water table is close to the surface, and there are little hidden springs all over the hills. The drought has been so bad they've mostly dried up. One particular pond, home to fish, ducks, and a great blue heron, has dwindled to a puddle. I hope this oasis at the edge of the Mojave gets what it needs from this storm to recover. That will have to wait until Saturday, since once I'm allowed back on the road, it's back to work for me.

we just lost power for about an hour ( I got the wood stove going just in case) We are getting some pretty good squalls...wind is picking up.....

I am so glad you are OK...poor horsegirls...gonna take awhile for the mud to dry up...amazing pictures...will probably have some to post tomorrow from here.

Cool about the springs tho..we need the moisture but....sheesh!

20. Stay snug tonight, and we will hopefully

get a chance to come up for air. Our storm is supposed to be over, and I just heard rain hitting the skylight again. Not a lot of rain; it's intermittent. I have company coming by tonight; it's dark, wet, and cold, and I thought they wouldn't want to show up, but they're on their way. I think I'll make a pot of something warm!
