11:11 - Higher Consciousness?

A few months ago, a young man I know asked me about my opinion of 11:11. He knows of my mystical bent. At the time I could remember something, but nothing came to mind. I was cleaning out old bookmarks today and came upon this site. The reason he was wondering was because a few years ago his best friend committed suicide. His friend had told him shortly beforehand that every time he looked at a watch or clock, it seemed to be 11:11. Now the present young man noticed 11:11 many times, and naturally remembered his friend. I began to notice 11:11 several times too, and thought of the question and both young men.

I haven't had time to read this entire site, but wanted to get other's input. I have to go out for awhile, but will pursue this when I get back.

Both young men are/were very Christian. I would have a hard time presenting him with this information. I'm very curious at this point, though, and looking forward to studying more.

About number 11 - 11 is double digit and is therefore considered a Master or Power Number. In Numerology - 11 represents impractical idealism, visionary, refinement of ideals, intuition, revelation, artistic and inventive genius, avant-garde, androgynous, film, fame, refinement fulfilled when working with a practical partner. Eleven is a higher octave of the number two . It carries psychic vibrations and has an equal balance of masculine and feminine properties. Because eleven contains many gifts such as psychic awareness and a keen sense of sensitivity, it also has negative effects such as treachery and betrayal from secret enemies.

Many associate 11:11 with a wake-up code/alarm as they see it on digit clocks and watches. It can also be seen as a key to unlock the subconscious mind - our genetic encoded memories ... that we are spirits having a physical experience - not physical beings embarking on a spiritual experience.

11:11 - or derivatives of these numbers - 111 and 11 - are digits that repeat in time - thus a metaphor for reality as patterns that repeat in time for us to experience. This can refer to the rise and fall of civilizations - our personal experiences and lessons - loops in time - whatever - they are cycles of time that create and recreate following the blueprint.

Ellie and 11:11 .... In 1991 - when I was hosting the talk show "The Metaphysical Experience" - a woman named Solara was my guest. Her topic was Activation of the 11:11 Doorway. It was all about ascension and the beginning of awareness of the 11:11 code. In 1995 - a Crystalinks' reader named Joe emailed about his experiences with the numbers 111:111 - hence the file you are reading was first created - and in so doing I took a long hard look at this phenomena experienced by those around me - oddly not part of my triggering. Each time Joe was about to go through another major spiritual awakening - an epiphany of some kind - those numbers would appear in his physical experience to signal the upcoming change. The numbers say, "Pay attention!"

11 represents spiraling twin strands of human DNA moving into higher frequency of consciousness.

1. I see 11:11 all the time!

The "practical" explanation is that once you're tweaked to it, you are always looking for it, and therefore you see it more blah blah blah.

Pah.

I friggin' get JUMPED by these numbers! And not just those--1:11 will do, or 2:22 or 3:33 or 12:12. But 11:11 or 1:11 is the most frequent.

I see them so much they're like old friends now, and they give me a warm fuzzy whenever I see them. I always took them to be a little pat on the head from my spirit guides--"Hi there--we're looking out for you--don't worry--you're on the right path." Whenever I'm upset about something or worried about whether or not I just did the right thing...bam. 11:11. It always makes me smile, because it translates, for me, into "stop worrying--you're fine." And of course those spirit guides are always right.

I also notice that I'll see 11:11 if I'm fretting over something very trivial and the sight of the numbers will pull me out of it--kind of a message saying "remember who you are and why you're here--remember the bigger issues"--like that second entry you have--a reminder that I'm a spiritual being having a physical experience and not the othe way around. Also always a good wakeup call to keep me on the right track.

That's very kind of you, but I'm just struggling along in the thick of things, most of the time not feeling very evolved at all!

Speaking of that, I may just start another thread related to our evolution--my elder, who is also a therapist, said that last weekend an alarming number of her students and clients experienced a kind of freakout (some experienced it as a physical manifestation, some as an emotional one--if you saw my threads from earlier this week, you'll know I went the emotional route) that she's attributing to a hiccup in the Shift--like an energy surge. That got us (the senior members of the school) talking about how we THINK we're surfing the Shift just fine, and then we get toppled by a wave like that, so we should really take more care in handling the Shift (snarf just typed "shit"--that too!) and not be so complacent or cocky. Now we're working on how to ground ourselves so we don't get knocked about like that again--or, if we do, that it affects us much less.

6. MG . I saw it this morning.

I didn't sleep at all last night and had finally gone into my room to try to rest, and it was 11:11. I don't "feel" that I'm evolving. But I do feel the surf. It is a tidal wave, and can be noticed everywhere I look. I think a LOT of people are on the wave.

I had to go to the hospital last weekend. I hadn't been able to eat for about a week. I had been through a very traumatic event the week before and it just knocked me down. The hospital was HORRIBLE. They kept bringing me big chunks of meat that were impossible to eat. I requested a soft diet a couple of times. I ended up with ugly bruises all over one arm from all the "nurses". They were also mean. After two days, I called one of my friends to come get me out of there! She didn't think I was ready to go, but they sure as hell weren't doing me any good. I'm way better now. Normal appetite has returned. Still sleep issues, but I'm getting things done.

I don't remember seeing your posts from earlier, but will look. Are you feeling better now?

7. And it snowballs!

It's great--the more you see it, the more you see it, if you know what I mean. And it can be so reassuring in the midst of all this chaos.

(Sigh. I read and read and read how rocky this transition was going to be, and yet I'm still bowled over by it.)

I'm so sorry you had such a bad series of experiences! Glad you're better now. Interesting story to add to the list--I will tell my elder. I think I'll also put it in our newsletter, if you don't mind--she asked me to write an article about how to cope with the Shift. Would that be okay?

Her most dramatic tale from the weekend was that she was on the phone with person after person having meltdowns. At one point she was dealing with one person's meltdown and her call waiting beeped. She let it go to voicemail, and when she checked it one of her clients just said "Call me." So she called her cell phone, but a man answered. It was an EMT--apparently the woman was driving along on the highway and felt a giant jolt to her heart, so she pulled over and called 911, and she was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.

She thought she was having a heart attack, but she checked out clean as a whistle.

Now here's the kicker--the doctor--an M.D.--one of those practical sorts--told her that there wasn't anything he could do to help her because she was fine (technically) and that went for everybody ELSE who had come in to the hospital that weekend with the same damned thing. He said he'd never seen anything like it--everyone had the same symptoms, but nobody was sick.

We're figuring it was a power surge.

I am better, thanks so much for asking. I'm still not thrilled with my job, and I still daydream of being fired (especially after spending a three-day weekend in this falling-down house that's just begging me to work on it), but I'm not despondent anymore, and that's the most important thing. It really did turn off like a switch as soon as August ended. I'm looking forward to the coming months being more and more positive for me. Fingers crossed.

8. You can use anything that

might help. I went in on Sunday and they were swamped. I had to wait and wait. That's one reason they were so mean, very busy. I also had an eye infection, and after they ran some kind of scanner on it, I had a huge red welt under that eye. The doctor upstairs thought I had fallen, but I had not. It was from whatever equipment they had used in ER. It cleared up in a couple of days.

There's nothing worse than a bad experience when you don't feel well and are scared. :hug:

And there's no excuse for emergency staff being mean--no matter how busy they are--they're supposed to be trained to handle stress. Humph.

3. I personally feel that it is a blessing to see 11:11 on the clock.

It makes me feel especially loved by the Universe for some reason.

It's my understanding that 11/11 (November 11th) is supposed to be an especially powerful day every year.
