Synchronicity

I noticed the thread on the number 11 and it made me want to ask about synchronicity.

Do others here find more synchronicity in your lives recently?

One of my friends here answered a thread with a very loving answer in the lounge, her post was number 22 on that thread. I think she is ready to make a decision now about her life. Her answer was perfect and her number was the master number 22. There are answers for us everywhere all we have to do is pay attention.

Listen and be aware because the Universe is showing us the way all the time. I had a personal experience with this yesterday but did I listen, no - and I was a bit traumatized and frightened because I didn't.


Now if I would just do what the still small "voices" in my head tell me...

That I posted a thread about ghost cats four months ago and then this last week, my little kitty Bitsey, who passed away on 8/10, showed up as a ghost cat?

I'm with you completely on your statement about how the universe shows us the way. The signs are there if we are open to them and know how to read them.

I think it's interesting about how some people talk about praying and talking to God. What about listening?

I think it is wonderful that your kitty came back for a visit too.

And yes I hear you on the listening, I wanted to do it MY way and dismissed the advice. It was an excellent lesson and reminder.

I've had old friends reenter my life. I think our running into each was pure synchronicity.

9. I certainly hope so

I started opening up to spirituality last year. Earlier this year, I also trying working with the Law of Attraction. I think both have made me recognize synchronicity when it happens.

4. In the past year, especially

yes, very much so. It seemed that once I got out of a very stagnant situation, the world seemed to open up, and I'm meeting the most amazing people. I feel that I'm finally heading down the right path for me; it's still unfolding, but being present and in the moment, and aware, seems to be the key.

5. Not sure WHAT this was ....

... I'd been mulling something over in my head and today at lunch, said to myself "Ok, if I hear a song by the Foo Fighters by the end of the day today, then <X> will happen before the end of the week" ... and got on with my lunch.

In the car, on the way back to work, 'Hero' by the Foo Fighters came on.

Coincidence?
Random occurrence?
Confirmation from the Universe?

Also, I've noticed throughout my life that these things happen to me in spurts - with no rhyme or reason that I'm aware of - for certain spans of time (again with no set pattern) I'll be incredibly
'psychic' ... and other times, seemingly couldn't guess what day of the week it was.

6. That's synchronicity

The same thing happens to my son too. He used to be talking to me when he was young and several times the tv program we were watching would answer him. We would be oblivious to the tv and before I could answer the tv actors script would just answer with nearly identical words.

He also used to say he wanted to hear some song and sure enough it would come on.
I always thought my son was very watched over, I bet you are too.

10. Yes, when the synchorinicity is on, it's definitely here.

But I am sometimes freaked because my listening doesn't always bring me information. I must be doing it a little bit ineffectually still. Hopefully, that will change.

11. Synchronicity rocks

If I listen (and yes, for some reason we have to remind ourselves to listen! yargh...) I get all kinds of helpful messages, from "don't drive down that street today--there's a traffic jam" to "hey, say this to your boss and he'll think you're a genius". Works every time.

In fact, I just had a moment of synchronicity a few seconds ago! At my class last night for just this sort of thing, we were discussing being grateful for abundance in advance so you can manifest what you need--and there was the thread with the blank check from The Secret! And you bet I'll be printing that one out!

12. Not more.

It has always been a part of my life. I still remember a deja vu I had when I was about 10. Our family was on vacation in my mother's home town and stayed at an unusual sleep over. It was a detached building, two stories, with only a few rooms. Not your normal motel. We used to drink RC Cola, and put peanuts in, something my Southern mother grew up with. And peanut pattys. I still love those. So, we had the RC, but no bottle opener. They didn't have canned drinks in those days. (in those days? am I old?) So I was dispatched to the manager's office, which was their house, to get a bottle opener. I asked. They said, sure just wait a minute. I had my hands behind my back. Which I now know was my parent's way of teaching children not to touch things. I don't agree with that, but that is beside the point. I turned around to look at our room, and thought, I cannot wait to get back to my peanut patty! And it was just so familiar. I did that before. I don't know why that memory stays with me.

It is almost an everyday occurrence that the tv will mimick something just said. Or radio, billboard. I used to have a friend who got totally freaked every time something like that happened. I just expect it. Maybe I should pay more attention to those. But it happens all the time. In my last relationship, we knew when the other would call. The first time that happened, I was impressed. But it got to be standard.

Maybe you are just more aware of those things, rather than there are more of them. I don't think they are ALL meaningful. But some surely are. Maybe I take them for granted and need to focus more on paying attention.
