questions about current political climate and pluto, etc
hey all,

i have a question. with all that discussion going on with the movie and all these lies and the MSM trying to prop this movie up as being fair even after the re-editing, it seems like some sort of veil is being ripped away and more is being exposed than before. have i missed some discussions here about what's going on or have we not discussed it?

i looked at nancy waterman's site and i didn't see much of anything of this sort mentioned in her last posting. seems like matthew's messages sort of point to this-- what's going on in your minds? has the change in pluto's status caused a bit of a change in the universe? i mean i could be way OUT by asking these questions, but i thought i'd try to generate a bit of discussion. it's all not really clear to me to be honest.

1. consider checking out this thread . . .
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=245x26154

Am more than happy to strike up this discusssion again.

There has been some additional commentary since then I'll try to dig up.

Haven't thought about it in reference to the ABC issue aside from the obvious fact that it's a gross manipulation of history and seems to not be having the desired traction.

Ho Hum.

4. This seems not to be it. But it is about the current situation
It is from Nancy Waterman's blog. I did see something somewhere about truth coming out. And I seem to have a strong feeling about that myself. But this, while not about that, seems encouraging on its own.

http://www.starlightnews.com/

The first five days of September are likely to bring further agitation in many parts of the world. The Mars transit across 26-27 Virgo during the first three days of September 2006 may unleash some fierce anger and aggression in Israel when Mars crosses progressed Mars (26 Virgo) and squares Jupiter (27 Sagittarius) and progressed Uranus (27 Gemini). Whether this will manifest militarily is not clear, but the temptation will be there. Furthermore, both Mercury and the Sun will be opposite transiting Uranus between September 2 and September 5, bringing several upsets, surprises, potential eruptions of violence or natural events, and possible explosions or accidents, especially having to do with transportation, worldwide. These latter aspects are particularly likely to be felt in the US, with Uranus (12Pisces44) still in a tight waning square to the US Ascendant (12Sagittarius59). However, with no indication of prolonged upset or disturbance, it is doubtful these incidents will have a lasting impact.

As for the Big Players in the Bush Brass Band, they are about to come in for a tight squeeze of some kind. Emperor W, Condi, Josh Bolton, and First Dick Cheney will soon begin experiencing the frustrations and impediments of Saturn yet again. For Bush, Saturn will begin its crossing of his Venus and semisquare his Neptune on September 24, coming in and out of orb through June 2007. This is likely to bring him decreasing popularity, disillusionment, and some sense of loss or sadness. For Condi (11/14/54, Birmingham, Alabama, 11:30 AM), the Saturn transit beginning on September 23 will square her Sun/Venus/Midheaven conjunction, suggesting major setbacks for her diplomatic initiatives, as well as decreasing success and popularity in other areas. There are likely to be some very difficult things that weigh on her that seem quite irresolvable through July 2007. White House Chief of Staff Bolton (8/16/54) will have the Saturn station right on his Sun/Pluto conjunction from October 2006 through January 2007, suggesting that things in his White House domain are burdensome and troubled during this period. And finally, Dark Side Dick will have the Saturn station right on his Mercury from late October 2006 through early January 2007, and not fully resolved until mid-July 2007. This suggests a depressing time where he undergoes some kind of forced restraint and unhappiness. Health complications or major difficulties and setbacks at work are both possible.

To tie all of this together and at least suggest the election will go against the Republicans, one of the most problematic aspects in the Inaugural chart will be set off by a quincunx from Pluto from October 11 through November 17, 2006. This is the solar arc Saturn conjunction of the Inaugural IC (25Cancer24) which will peak in February 2007. Given the multitude of Saturn aspects in the Inaugural chart, including its conjunction of the natal IC, this transit would seem to imply, especially when seen along with the other Saturn influences mentioned above, a time of overwhelming failure for the White House and the Bush agenda over the coming months.

5. Reading this makes me wonder if the uproar over the ABC 9/11
movie is a sign that things are really starting to take a turn, a visible turn, for the Bush White House, and for the country. I mean, there are even conservative/neocon talking heads (not Rush, of course) who say ABC should not show the movie, not because they don't want Clinton to look bad, but because they don't think that the national trauma that was 9/11 should be messed with as far as throwing in things that are complete lies. And while I usually don't like anything these people say, I give them kudos for that attitude, and see it as yet another sign that things are really starting to go south for BushCo.

Speaking of going south, I saw an article the other day that said the Republicans are starting to lose southern women from their corner. And of course, there are Republican candidates who are trying to dissociate themselves from Bush; they may want any money he can bring in for them, but they literally don't want to be seen with him. And a majority of those polled recently (cannot recall the pollster, sorry) think that the Dems should be in charge of Congress, particularly the House so that investigations can being into the wrong-doing of BushCo.

Finally, I think that nature/the universe is just playing out as I always knew it would -- things never stay the same; they always change. When I read posts in GD by people who seem convinced that the Republicans will ALWAYS be in power, that Rove will ALWAYS best the Dems and the part of the electorate that wants them out of the WH, I shake my head a bit, as there is no way that can be true. Of course, GWB eventually WILL be out of the WH, but what I mean more specifically is that the way things have been -- turning the US into an almost monster-like entity -- was not going to continue. At some point, it had to start changing, because that is the nature of nature, and the nature of the universe.

6. It seems to me that people have indeed been waking up.
Our great difficulty is that the media is demonstrating that they are completely controlled, and that really frightens me. Without an objective media, without some dissemination of the truth, you cannot have a democratic society. And they have completely taken over the media. When the truth, a little tiny bit of it, is now allowed to leak out, it's only because they see that the *ush istas have gone so far overboard that people are really freaking out and life-long repubs are leaving the party.

I have read about people chasing campaigning repubs down the street, they are so angry. because everybody in the middle or lower classes is worse off financially, and many people are losing their homes. And since they changed the bankruptcy laws, when you go bankrupt, guess what? Bye bye house and you still have to pay your debts.

It's like they redid the whole set-up, they designed it in a way to take away all our property and give it to the richest companies on the face of the earth. So since that's been starting to happen, at some point the people it is happening to have to see the light. And they are.

But if things have gone so far that the truth cannot be spoken out loud, we have a problem. Now, the internet is our salvation, but they are about to take that over, too.

Maybe we'll all have to get ham radio sets. Would that work? Maybe that's not even an option. Gee, I don't know.

What I do know is that we must picture what we want rather than dwell on what we don't want. I keep picturing *ush and those guys behind bars, and a happy strong earth with everyone standing up with big smiles on their faces and shaking their fists, like they decided not to take it anymore, and they've won. Period.

I think it has gone a lot further than we know, but we can't be allowed to know, and the media goes on pretending it's the other way. It's all propaganda. It's all been propaganda, even to the point of making all the Democratic candidates for the presidency look like bad campaigners. They're not all bad campaigners, the media makes them look like that. Natch.

Come back, Ted Turner!

8. emcguffie, you are quite right. The media makes the Dems look
bad. What drives me nuts is when I hear people (Republicans and Democrats both), say, "Well, I never hear anything from the Democrats in Congress." Well, the reason is, the media won't show them very much. And on the talk shows, it's almost always 2 Republicans and 1 Democrat. There are Dems that speak out all the time, but as the saying goes, if it's not on TV, it didn't happen. Unless, of course, one watches CSPAN, but not very many people do.

The flip side of showing the Republicans a lot, and talking about them a lot on TV, is that this HAS helped in the waking up process, I believe. Of course, there are many other factors -- wages not keeping up with prices, jobs being shipped overseas, people having to dip into their retirement accounts just to live day-to-day, etc. So perhaps what has long worked against the Dems -- lack of television coverage -- may also now be helping in the waking-up process.
