Curious about Eclipse Experiences

Tomorrow's 29 Virgo Solar Eclipse will -- using Celeste Teal's 3 Degrees Rule -- be conjunct my South Node (00 Libra), Jupiter (01 Libra) and Uranus (02 Libra) and in opposition to my Sun at 00 Aries and North Node at 00 Aries.

Does anyone have any stories to share based on their own past experiences with an Eclipse hitting a Personal Planet or Angle? I'd love to hear 'em. :-)

1. No personal stories about an eclipse hitting a personal planet/angle...

but in general, for me, eclipses are very healing. The eclipse series' we've been through in the last three years specifically have been incredible healing/energizing forces within my own life. I can't imagine what an eclipse in opposition to my sun would be like, though. At all. Good luck!

6. I've been meaning to post about this, but been too busy.

Because it will have to be a long post, and I have to sit down and do it. But I am healing somehow. And something strange is happening to me. And I looked it up, and it turns out to be "spontaneous kundalini yoga", which I knew nothing about, believe me, until it happened to me.

And I have chiron less than half a degree from my sun in cap in fourth house.

I owe someone a thank-you here for something about that, I tried to post and could not. Lost a long nice thank you. Been too busy ever since. I'm at work, going to go home now. This weekend I'll try to get around to it.

9. Kundalini RULES!

I don't think I quite experienced it spontaneously, but after randomly picking up a piece of honey calcite earlier this summer, I opened and activated all of my chakras for a couple of days and man, was that exhilarating. Enjoy! 'S great.

11. Yesterday I was walking around like a ballerina!

Which was really something. I was a ballerina, for a little while, when I was young. I can well remember how great it felt, to be able to express through my body like that.

Now, I can hardly walk at all sometimes. I can't get out of bed, sometimes, for a long time, because my hips just hurt too much when I wake up. And all of a sudden there, at work, I feel like I'm almost floating, like I'm being pulled up by my scalp, just floating around.

I can't quite believe this is happening to me. Why would it happen to me? But it is happening to me. So I am happy. And then again, I just don't quite believe it. Until I do it again.

The way it is happening is encouraging me to believe, however, that the planet is doing that ascending thing, that more and more people are doing these things much more easily. Because otherwise there would be absolutely no reason for me to be doing that, much as I might want to.

A Virgo ascendant Capricorn can be pretty rigid -- in addition to being grounded -- hard to convince about other realities, I think. So it has always been pretty difficult for me to accept what is possible. And Caps tend to be suspicious, so once I do accept those possibilities, then I tend to suspect that whatever I am experiencing is me, myself and I being wishful.

But this thing is undeniable. It isn't anything I know anything about. I mean, if I do know anything about it, it would have to be from other lifetimes. So, either someone else is doing it, or I know it from other lifetimes. Thus, it is demonstrating something otherwordly to me in a very concrete way.

how I feel at work....even though what most ppl think I do is not dancing. I still get to use my ballet sometimes.

Sometimes I spot them. And I always cannot help but be a little bit envious. It's a pretty incredible thing to do. I never could sing very well, but I can imagine that would feel similarly glorious.

I hope you get to dance a lot.

Nope nope nope.
I do not have that kind of dedication.
What I do...I dance in a way,and I get to apply some of the ballet that I learned, but it is most decidedly NOT ballet.
I wish I had that kind of ability, but I did not apply myself when I was young, so could probably not have made the cut to professional anyway.
Sorry to have misled you.

But, hey...to be able to dance at all for my living gives life to my soul. Many ppl do not understand that about what I do...

I've got a 00 Aries Sun and a 26 Virgo Ascendant that will be affected, not to mention a 01 Capricorn North Node. Should be interesting.

3. I don't know enough about astrology to speak intelligently

about it but the lunar eclipse on the 7th was on top of my natal sun or moon (oh geez, I don't remember, sorry) this year (within 3 or 4 minutes). One of the astrologers here said it may mean an excellent year. I certainly hope so.

Eclipses, Predicting World Events and Personal Transformation by Celeste Teal. Llewellyn Worldwide, Woodbury, MN. 2006. Paperback $17.95.
Celeste Teal gives us an amazing amount of information about eclipses in general, and about current eclipses, all in logical and very readable form. What I appreciate most about her approach is that she has really closely studied eclipses, paid attention to their transits and stimulations over time, and corresponding events. She also refers them to relevant countries, and real people.

Much of astrological writing is a rehash of “common” knowledge. Celeste takes the scientist’s approach: what is the evidence? Her conclusions thus have grounding in the real world. This is very valuable and refreshing.

In her book, Celeste also includes some excellent basic astrology, plus all the data which provide the evidence for her conclusions.

I am interested in this, too...

5. It's on my ascendant, I'm curious also.

And pluto conjunct the galactic center is conjunct my mercury in Sagitarius in the third house, close to the IC. Yes, square this other stuff, but not exact. three degrees off, I guess. 29 degrees, 26 and change.

8. It is opposite my Saturn

in Pisces in the 12th within half a degree, and also sextile my Mars in Leo in the 4th within half a degree.

I'm awaiting to hear if, finally, a move is in the works for me. (Saturn also rules my MC)
