I had one of those epic neverending dreams last night, which I woke up from at about 1:30 am. The theme was something along the lines of Dungeons & Dragons (disclaimer: friends played, not me) where characters travel through different settings in bands, learning and collecting stuff. But no battles here, just wandering. I met a lot of old friends and I don't remember who I was travelling with.
Anyway, I guess we were seeking enlightenment. We found "God" in a park, or something that was supposed to symbolize God.
Imagine one of those big plastic fans that sit on the floor...
...just the fan part, without the supports.
It hung in midair over our heads and shed a beautiful shower of blue and purple light as the blades turned. I stood underneath it and was overcome with a sense of well-being and a powerful attack(?) of love. I was just bursting with love. I remember smiling wide and lifting my arms towards it as I would put my hands to a fire, to be warmer (in this case, to be more joyful). It was an amazing thing to experience.
After a while of standing in reverie, I realized that this thing wasn't just emitting love from itself, it was magnifying and reflecting our love, and it became difficult to sustain. The shower ended, and the fan sank to the ground. I understood that I could start it up again, if I concentrated and evoked love in myself.
So I'm carrying this thing around as I continue through the scenery of my dream. I run into an old friend (a very smart person) who commented on it, to the effect of "Hey I see you've found God. Most people don't or if they do, they get really scared when they find out you can go beyond that."
Holy Cow, I found God! I looked at the thing again and considered the idea that there was something else, beyond God. I thought that I could just choose to stop my journey there and be happy, and I could take up a life of showing God to people, but then there is a journey to be had. So I continued on. I think I left the God-thing behind because later in the dream I was unencumbered.
Now, fully awake, I'm thinking that the elements of my dream must have had something to do with reading about the cosmic trigger event 10/17, the coronal hole 10/18, and the solar wind that was supposed to hit us today. But as it turns out, the wind hit us yesterday, and didn't cause any auroras.
