Remain Uplifted . Intender's Bridge
This Intender's Bridge agrees with my basic intention to not get bogged down with all the terrorizing information, violence, gossip, crazy making, horror stories that some are so fond of.

Especially as light and energy workers, we need to remain uplifted. The forces of darkness are fleeing as fast as they can scamper. The Light dispells them. Stay focused sisters and brothers.

Intender's Bridge

Oftentimes things may be happening all around you that seem to be discordant, and you cannot imagine what is going on. But you must remain focused and steadfast and be able to see through and not get caught up in the mundane dramas that are constantly being perpetuated on this planet.

I have good friends who live way out in the desert in order to get away from everything. Like a lot of people nowadays, the husband is obsessed with disasters and potential catastrophes. In fact, he even has a cave on his land stocked with enough survival goodies to feed and water a small town. I lived with my friends for a few months the winter before last, and everyday, as we worked together, the husband would talk about last night's Art Bell radio show, and he even taped the most frightening shows so that I could listen to them later in the day.

Now . . . I was having some health challenges when I arrived at their place, and over a period of the next couple of months I felt my energy level going down and down. My physical discomfort was getting worse by the day.

Finally, one morning I asked my inner guidance what was going on, and the answer I receive was very helpful. I was told that the next time the husband approached me with the latest disaster rumors to tell him, "My friend, I know that you mean well for me, but I have to ask you to hold off on these scary stories of yours. You see, it's my job to stay uplifted, no matter what. Your stories are enticing, however they tend to bring my energy level down. I need to stay up if I'm going to do the work that I came here to do." To make a long story short, he began to honor my request right away, and in a very short time my health and energy level shot back up to normal.

And that's the message for all of us who truly care about the well-being of humanity. It's like a resume for us, so that when anyone asks us what our job is we can say "It's my job to stay uplifted, regardless of all the crazy things that are going on around me. In fact, I've come to understand that if everyone buys into the disaster mindset and nobody guards their energy level, then we will all be down wallowing in the swamplands. Some of us have to stay uplifted, and that's what I'm here to do!"

My Intention for today is: I intend that I am staying uplifted and doing what I came here to do.

we perhaps could consider supporting one another in a collective effort to maintain "upliftedness."

:)

I'm feeling greater unity than I have in a while. Hope everyone else is too.

Most of my writing of late has been in efforts to dispell that very often paralyzing shadow of fear. It's total BS.

Let's all perhaps consider living in greater love, "gratitude," and humor.

I attended an astro lecture early in the year and the presenter said the primary premise of most organized religions was a fear of death.

I wonder if that's true.

If it is then once transcends that fear. . .anything is possible.

As mostly reincarnationalists, that should be a cinch.

5. I feel the unity too.
I don't know if you're talking about spiritual unity or political unity. Or both?

It may be, and for now seems to be, related to the release of "The Secret". Much like "What the Bleep do We Know", I thought it was pretty elementary. But I first dipped into metaphysics in 1980. I drifted away, into another belief system for 17 years. Seventeen years filled with struggle, losses and pain. Finally, in 2000, I woke up again. So seeing even the simplest reminders of what I was taught years ago was a refreshment. When we are all on the same wave length, to create a fair, peaceful world, there is power. The same way we set our intentions for our personal lives, many of us have opened the door and realize that Universal Spirit can co-create with us a beautiful life on this planet. I don't think we can even dream of the outcome when US is given full consent to make it happen.

Regards the premise of religion, that could be. We have a survival instinct built in. I have searched in vain for a website I read years ago about "bear people". It described how the departed were covered with red clay dust. This represented their re-birth into another realm. Death was seen as a natural progression from here to beyond. So, I don't know if they "feared" it or not. I believe much of the organized religion today is more about gaining power over others, which happens to be the only sin there is (imo). They balk at the notion that we are all part of All. So that fear would be someone else might have power over them. They use "God" as a scapegoat, pretending to have direct messages from the One. But the One does not give messages of division. One gives messages of unity. It could be no other way.

it's just what I needed...I like that (almost) free Intention code poster, did you see it?
Usually when it's a tough day, I've just fallen into it, but now I know to shift my thought.
I've been doing alot of thought shifting today, lol.

4. I had an experience kind of like that.

And I'm not exactly one of you light and energy workers.

But I had become so upset about everything that was going on... I live on the east coast. I know about the Hopi prophecies. I became very afraid, mostly for my one child. We live up on a small mountain, I guess, or a really big hill, outside New York. So, I decided we should get a boat, at the very least, so that if there were a flood, which would be a possibility, we would be able to leave.

Then one day, all of a sudden, all my fears just left, and I knew it would be all right, whatever it was. That I didn't have to run away and get off the grid to be responsible to my family. That even if we all died it would be just fine.

So I could stop being afraid and start being positive.

It was really kind of exciting for me. Plus a load off my mind, to say the least.

And then those other things started happening to me.

8. Not necessarily a bad idea
to get a boat. I know someone in NY that now lives on a boat. She and her partner got it after 911. But living in fear is a defeat, no doubt about it. I was terrified of the cabal after 911. Not getting into theories, but they let it happen by neglect or some other way. I'm not going to speculate. It happened while they were at the helm, and that is good enough for me. I came out of my fear during the Democratic primaries. And then, this forum is uplifting for me. It is my first stop when I visit DU.

What other things?

9. Surround yourself with people who are supportive
of where you are in your life now

After sitting in hundreds of intenders Circles and watching thousands of Intenders make and manifest their intentions, we've come to realize that those who get up in the morning and set a direction for their day by saying their intentions, prayers, or affirmations have an entirely different experience than those who don't. They are becoming more conscious and they are not at the mercy of people or forces outside themselves like most people. Instead, they are beginning to open the door to their own power.

Likewise, people who get together with a group of like-minded and light-hearted friends on a regular basis and put their intentions and gratitudes in a circle have an entirely different week than those who don't. Everything just comes easier for them.

There really is power in an Intenders Circle! My car threw a rod last summer when I was in between jobs. I made an intention to have another car come to me free, since I didn't have any extra money at the time. Four days later, my son called me up and, before I could say anything, asked me if I knew anybody who wanted a car - a nice, older, but sporty VW. He said that it was taking up too much space beside his carport, but that it ran great. And, it was first come, first serve. Within an hour, I caught a ride to his place, started up the car, and drove it away.

It felt like Christmas in July!
