Would anyone be interested in having a thread each week with a different astrology topic...

For this to be successful, we'd have to have people who understand astrology be willing to be involved. (I'm not asking that anyone commit to anything, but rather that they indicate if they find the idea interesting and would jump in if the Spirit moved them to do so.)

If this is something that interests you, please respond. If you have astrological knowledge, please also state this so we have a feel whether there would be enough expertise to keep the threads interesting. If people are asking questions and nobody's ever going to be there to keep the discussion going, it's not worth doing.

Just off the top of my head, I was thinking that maybe some topics that we could discuss are, for example, a different astrological house a week, what the different aspects mean, how retrograde planets affect us -- things like this. These are just ideas, and anyone else who has any ideas should state them here.

If there's enough interest, I'd be willing to post a topic a week with a heading like "ASTROLOGY TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION: The First House" or something like that so that the topics will be easy to find if someone is looking for them or if someone wants to search for all of them at a later time. (They could search for the subject "ASTROLOGY TOPIC".)

If we move forward with this, and then it turns out that there's not enough interest, then I would just stop posting them. We can play it by ear.

I'll even try to be more consistant getting on the site. Do you all have a special timeframe that you get on DU? I'm out west in Pacific time - if I had a handle on times - since it seems you all respond to each other rather quickly - I'd make the effort to be there too.

10. Hi, wickfordbard. People are coming all the time. I suspect that...

many people who have jobs where they use a computer check in periodically. I do this and will respond to things if the response won't take more than a minute. (If it takes any more time than that, I wait until the evening.) I personally also come during lunch. Other people have other routines.

I think there are others like me who are fascinated with Astrology, and have used it for years for counsel, yet have not taken the time and effort to really study its components.
