Pluto in Sagg discussion. . .for yet another prayer for the New Moon
Lutin posted this today at http://michaellutin.com

to know what happiness is...

15

the thing about Pluto in sagittarius is

everybody has prejudices

everybody has called some member of some group

a horrible name

under their breath

everybody's mind has been pickled

the struggle to free ourselves

from conditioning and prejudice

has been the lesson of Pluto in sagittarius

since 1994

but all religions have been called into question

dogma has not matched behavior

laws have turned out to have been made

only for those who don't have the privilege

of breaking them

morality, religion, and ethics

have been throwin into total upheaval

cherished beliefs

once comforting us

have turned out to be

myths, legends

and in some cases

out and out lies

Fundamentalists

threatened by their own questioning of faith

have flourished

and many are convinced their way of thinking

is the right way

the only way

this frenzy will reach a crescendo in september

what prejudices do you have

whom have you called nasty names

I wish i could tell you that the New Moon

this week would bring completely new news

can't, though.

It's a new moon at the end of capricorn

the exaltation point of mars as mars enters the sign

so get motivated"

Reading it inspired me to do yet another collaborative effort addressing these isues to post on the New Moon on Thursday at 28 degrees of Cap at 11:01 pm EST.

The goal would be to craft a prayer that would dispell rancor, hatred, and bigotry amongst fundamentalists globally, and inspire tolerance, revival of humanism, and a true spiritual renaissance. Silly me.

Any thoughts or feelings would be greatly appreciated and entirely welcomed. Since I was moved to do this on this day, I'll dedicate it to MLK and credit any contributors who would like acknowledgement.

2. The capricorn prayer - why not? Even the devil needs our prayers!
I'd like to add this part:

My hatred of others is directly proportional to my hatred of myself.
Of those qualities that are, or that I imagine are, within myself
Buried so deeply that I have to project it out upon others,
To see the depth of my own darkness and fear.

Religion is the structure,
The story is the myth.
And myths are the truest truths,
So let go of the structure and
Go back and let the story grip your heart
In hands of fire and light.

5. Woh my friend
It may take more than a couple days to process all of that. LOL Yet I will try my very best.

"grip your heart" seems to be the operative phrase which jumps out at me at first glance. Thanks.

Will take a second look in the morn.

3. I've been thinking a lot about what Pluto in Sag has meant, since
we'll see Pluto entering Cap this year. (And for the record, I'm of the mind that Pluto is as meaningful as ever, if not moreso for having been "demoted"...:))

I've been thinking that while Pluto in Scorpio saw the transformation of how we think of sex (sexual revolution as well as AIDS and herpes), Pluto in Sag has overseen changes in the way Michael Lutin described, with to me, an emphasis on spirituality and a difference in how we apply our optimism, seeking truth from within and slowly shaking off our complacency and belief in the Saturnian structures that we've accepted for so long.

I'm hoping that Pluto in Cap will see a transformation of these Saturnian/authoritarian structures that no longer serve us, giving us the strength and endurance (Pluto) to transform the way things are done on a governmental and world level. Could it be that we will see the end of war as a way to solve problems? Saturn also has a way of bringing people to task, having them reap what they've sown, so could it be that corruption and injustice will be no longer accepted in government (here and abroad)? We can only hope.

I'm not sure I've expressed this clearly, but maybe you get the gist of what I'm trying to say. I'm hopeful...so hopeful, but I think it will not be an easy time, and may get much worse before it gets better. And yet...it will get better.

the energy around the celebration of his birth was palpable and so contrary to where we are now. Something must be done for sure.

Am contemplating just what it is.

best to you

11. thanks rumpel and from on Virgo risng to another. . .
"thinking, thinking thinking we're always thinking." :hi:

As a funny Austrailian friend always choppily types. . ." these are my thorts. . ."

I'm still coming off the whole "Ooga, Booga, Smooga, Wooga" effort of last weekend and with Mars on my Saturn I may just differ to a master, like I did on the Solstice.

I was reading about the Israel/Palestine mess over at Huff Post and a dispute between former Pres. Carter and Dershowitz over the "roadkill to peace" and I was thinking about the New Moon in Cap. I was reminded of this. . .

"Prayer For A United World"

"May the heads of all countries and races be guided to understand that men of all nations are physically and spiritually one: physically one, because we are the descendants of common parents-the symbolic Adam and Eve; spiritually one, because we are the immortal childrend of our Father, bound by eternal links of brotherhood.

Let us pray in our hearts for a League of Souls and a United World. Though we may seem divided by race, creed, class, and political prejudices, still as children of the one God we are able in our souls to feel brotherhood and world unity. May we work for the creation of a United World in which every nation will be a useful part, guided by God through man's enlightened conscience.

In our hearts we can all learn to be free from hate and selfishness. Let us pray for hrmony among the nations, that they march hand in hand through the gate of a fair new civilisation."

Paramahansha Yogananda

The first time I typed that prayer it was in a stellascope I wrote shortly after 9/11 and I was shown a vision of how if Jerusalem was only to be turned into an international zone for a decade (from then) it would be more than likely, with the energies that now are hovering, that all the hot heads would get over their rancor and hostility. Of course that didn't happen. Oh well.

Since I had a computer crash and lost all my stellascopes from that period on the old drive (I still have hard copies) , I just had to retype the prayer and I was struck by all the male references in it so I'm thinking about editing it so as to refer to both genders to be more inclusive. Would that be inappropriate? That thought reminded me of a conversation I had last night with another reader.

We were talking about Iraq and she said it would only be resolved through feminine energy. I had posted several months ago in GD about how Faiza (a Shia married to a Sunni) who has a Phd in Engineering and is more knowledgeable about her culture, world history, various religions, and literature than most of our leaders (that doesn't say much) (http://afamilyinbaghdad.blogspot.com) & riverbend (a Sunni who is so savvy and clear) (http://riverbendblog.blogspot.com) could only have politcal influence instead of our installed puppets, I bet that things would be straightened out in short order. Ahhh that particular post scarcely got any responses.

In searching through the 5-6 year old copies of stellascopes I saw something that I'd been thinking of ever since I first heard John Mayers' "Waiting on the World to Change." last summer . . .

"Our opponents in this conflict have sleeper cells. Well, in my humble opinion, so do we. Anyone who has fflirted with a spiritual path even for a milliscond is now hereby officially qualified to create their very own waking cell. Also included in this oh so exclusive spiritual society is anyone who's desire is to wait no longer for the world to change . . ."

I then went on and on about mirroring the attributes of one's opponents instead of creating intractable further conflicts by indulging in shadow projections and the foolishly counterproductive nature of labeling anything or anyone "evil."

In a letter I foolishly sent to the pres on 10/16/01 (which I'm quite sure he never read LOL) I summarized my reasons for this more succinctly. . .

"I humbly beseech you to eradicate the word "evil" from your lexicon of verbiage. Consider for a moment it's definition when it's spelled backwards.

From an energetic point of view, "the overuse of the word "evil" only empowers one's opponents and always has.

There are many more creative terms to use. . .misguided, unenlightened, destructive, hateful, mean spirited, sadistic, obnoxious, cruel deviant, villainous, absurd, totally uncalled for. . .etc."

A lot of good that effort did. . .not.

Anyhoo the "surge" in the collective racism and bigotry since then has my head spinning. Approaching Pluto's planetary ingress into Cap and it's conjuction with the Solar Apex and subsequent retrograde passes over the cusp and Galactic Center and it's station at that degree in September, those are my "thorts."

Oh and as an aside. While I was riding the "Ooga, Booga, Smooga, Wooga" wave last weekend and on MLK Day, I felt a spiritual movement hovering based on shared humors. It was really amazingly cool.

13. I didn't know
it was a planetary alignment, but these things have been in my thoughts and speech a lot lately.

To UNITE. To truly recognize that we are One. I am the stone. The stone is me. I'm that cute butterfly.

How could this bring harm? To feel united? .... unless one wants to mutilate themselves, which I don't get.
But I'm pretty sure it has to do with isolation.

Let us be One.

With you on the prayer, Stella.

17. Stella,
late last night I tried to post and I could not get on DU. It is bizarre every night at around 1 am. Maybe it is a little housecleaning program I installed onto my Mac...
I am going to unistall it and see what happens.

I shudder at the words "computer crash"...thank universe for the hard copies...

I agree with the 'evil' comment - it is the yin and yang, the light and dark, each can not exist without the other. It is neither good or bad - ultimately we strive for balance. (see below also)

Since nothing productive was brewing in my head, I thought at least I post the below. Chief Oren Lyons, Faithkeeper.

transcript excerpt of Bill Moyers with Lyon - and there we go again, the dialogue also goes back to the late 1700's, We must learn from the last Pluto experience and this time, perhaps join...we can't wait for another 247.7 years

Oren Lyons:

I believe that all of this discussion between human beings is one of morality. I think that everyone has to deal with the emotions that are in each individual. And we understand that we have both good and bad in us and that you must strike a balance at all times. This spiritual center then, is what the Great Tree of Peace is. It's a spiritual center. It's a spiritual law--

Bill Moyers:

The Peacemaker, when he came, planted a Tree of Peace?

Oren Lyons:

A Tree of Peace, a Great Peace, a great law. It's a spiritual law. He said, `When you become afraid or when you become weak or when you become not able to carry,' he says, `it's the spiritual law that will stiffen your spine.' He said, `That's where your strength is. So you must make your laws in accordance with those spiritual laws and then you will survive.'

He called that council the Council of the Good Minds. He said the Hoyanni -- that's what it means, the all-good, the good, peacemakers. So that's what he set up. And when he uprooted this great tree and he asked the Nations to come forward and cast their weapons of war, he says, `We now do away with the warriors and we do away with the war chiefs. And in their place we plant the Council of the Good Minds who will now counsel for the welfare of the people.' And he said, `I shall not leave you defenseless.' And he gave us a spiritual strength, Oyenkwaohweh, the Great Tobacco. He said, `This will be your medium for communication, directly.'

http://www.ratical.org/many_worlds/6Nations/OL070391.html

and as for women (Clan Mothers)

Women were given the right to the chief's titles and the power to remove dissident chiefs. Jikohnsaseh, by hearing of her actions, taught me to respect women and honor their role. Women are the connection to the earth and have the responsibility for the future of the nation. Men will want to fight. Women know the true price of war and must encourage the chiefs to seek a peaceful resolution.

There is our Ms Pelosi :)

18. thanks AGAIN rumpel
I love your inspiring contributions.

I've been on Macs since '88 and only had that one incident on a 5 year old laptop that I had really semi abused, so I really should count my blessings considering all of the far worse troubles I've heard of from others.

Here's what I wrote last year and have been saying for eons about the Yin Yang Symbol. . .

"Consider also being squiggle in the middle of Yin Yang symbol because at the
center of the white is black, at the center of black is white. 'Round and
'round we go. That is the trap of dualism, and why it is far more fun to be
the squiggle in the middle. The dark is simply as sacred as the light.
Problems arise when imbalances and repression and resulting deviance occur
through an unbalanced relationship between the two and not by the fault or
exclusive virtue of one or the other. (lots more on that later)

The Yin Yang symbolizes a gateway to upper universes FYI, or is at the
verrry least one of them. There are many, and are several such symbols for
every faith and culture. Though the uncircled cross is a symbol, most
crucifying and damning for many. It simply has no flow. Maybe start
circling that around."

Funnily enough, I've been putting that squiggle beneath my signature since I learned to write in this lifetime. :)

Realignment and reinforcement of spiritual laws is certainly key and I do truly believe that the overwhelminly vast majority of REAL human beings are peacefully oriented at thier core.

The "Council of Good Minds" concept is cracking me up not only because it's what we are sorely lacking but because when I was reviewing the writing from 5 & 1/2 years ago, I read that I was thinking we needed to initiate a Department of Ingenuity instead of another big bloated behemoth dysfunctional so-called intelligence agency like Homeland Security. I'd always wondered and wanted someone to explain to me WTF the obtusely subtle distinction between Homeland Security and National Security was. e-gads.

Then wickfordbard just told me that she went to a meeting of a group that was called something like "In search of an Intelligent Conversation" in Vegas last night. Fifty people showed up and it was so noisy no one could hear each other. She may type the story. It was really funny.

Yup I'm trying to figure out how to put forth this concept of feminine rulership without sounding sexist. It's a toughy.

I intend to cut the heck out of what is posted above and possibly embellish the good points you made.

The phrase "surge in consciousness" is sort of hovering around this effort.

hmmmmmm
