Obama at the Democratic convention -- a flash.
I wanted to share something that happened to me when I was watching the Democratic Convention that featured Barrack Obama as a speaker.

First, I should say that I regularly have these "flashes" of future information -- just a little internal voice that will give me a declarative statement that will later turn out to be true. I think the weirdest one I ever got was during a pre-release screening of "Ghost". When Whoopi Goldberg first came on screen, my little voice said, "She is going to win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for this." Even as I listened to the little voice, I thought to myself, "That is fucking crazy!"

Well, it turned out it wasn't that crazy after all. :D

Another time, I was coming home after a very long day of work and parked my car on the side of my house instead of putting it in the driveway like I normally do. The little voice told me I needed to move the car to the driveway, but I was too tired to move the garbage cans from the drive. So I left it there. The next morning I wake to find my car had been stolen and that it was totaled in a hit and run accident.

I have learned the hard way to pay attention to the little voice.

So, fastforward -- I am watching the convention. Obama is introduced and starts to walk out onto the stage. I have never heard of him, have no idea who he is or what he stands for. Before he even speaks, that little voice says to me, "This man is going to be the first black President of the United States." Clear as a bell.

With Obama's announcement he has formed an exploratory committee, I am thinking back to that flash. A lot.

Was his Presidency supposed to be 2008 or some future date? I have no idea, there was no indication of that in my flash.

But I will be watching the next two (four? eight?) years with extra interest.

Has anyone else here had this type of response to him??

1. WOW!!!
Now that's something!!!

No, I can't say that I have. At least, not like that. I just love the energy he puts out when he speaks. Don't get that too often.

8. Yes, he does appear to haev really good energy...
I think that is what people are responding to in him. I am really surprised at just how big a reaction he is getting from people - it's like he has something they have been hungry for. It will be so interesting watching this play out.

2. Thanks for sharing this, HHNF. I'm rooting for your little voice to be right!
I don't get flashes like that myself.

3. I LIKE it!
Although I get flashes like you do from time to time, I haven't had any insights like yours about Obama, but I like it! (And I like your track record!)

The one thing I do know is the Repubs are spending SO much time and energy trying to tear him down already, he MUST be a serious threat to them. And I say...GOOD!

I'd vote for the man in a heartbeat--I get a VERY good feeling from him. I like his aura and his mojo.

9. Yes, I think people...
are responding to him on a very gut/intuitive level.

What I want to see is how Hillary responds to him throughout all this. I think he will bring out her Scorpionic nature -- big time. He may have to watch his back from both sides.

16. mmm mojo
I want him! Not in a biblical way. I think he is strong and brings character.
Something we have not had in way too long 7 ugly years.

Hear our prayer:
Bring honor. We long for a leader. Not a King.
Let the people who toil every day for a better world, for themselves and others, have a small voice and a BIG mouthpiece. Allow us to prosper again. Under your allegience. As it should be.
Hear our prayers.

And so it is. Thy will.

IOW get rid of the devils! yah?

4. I sensed that same potential when he walked out on the stage
though I had some fore knowledge about who he was.

He clinched it for me when he did his red/blue america schpiel dispelling dualism.

I wished he hadn't semi declared under a waning Moon but that was just declaration of the exploratory commission not the real candidacy.

I'm gonna write to one of his handlers.

Reminded me of when Clark declared his candidacy under a Mars retro. I thought e-gads a military guy under a Mars retro???

Then he uncharacteristically blew his response to the IWR question right out of the gate and typically he is so articulate.

10. People scoffed at Nancy...
for her use of an astrologer but, I tell you, when it comes time to do the important things like starting/signing/moving on things, you damn right I am looking at the stars!

That is fascinating about Clark -- I'd no idea that had happened.

It can't hurt trying to talk to someone in his camp -- all they can do is call you "crazy". Like we all haven't heard that before. :D

15. The vids I've seen of Clark
have changed my mind about him.

But Mars retro? I am soooo glad you keep up with that stuff. Leaves me time to goof off :woohoo:

5. I think my little voice
said the same thing. And now I have chilly bumps. I really like him. Oh, let our voices be true.
Don't you think he could give us a boost up? Get rid of white bread. Bring on Obama.

11. I believe that never before has our country...
needed a true visionary in office who can help us make the quantum leap that we will need to in order to survive as a country and a planet. One thing I notice Obama does is offer voters hope -- I think our fellow citizens crave and respond to that type of voice. At the end of the day, I think that's what all the great leaders do -- offer us hope in something better.

I hope that he is as authentic as he appears. I hope that he means what he says. And I hope -- should he become our President -- that keeps that promise of something better. The gods know our country and the world need it.

6. Well, I don't have voices,
and I'm not often right about things -- whatever psychic kinds of insight I might get is blocked by what I want to happen. Nonetheless, I did yesterday, when watching Obama on TV I did get a clear sense that he'd be president. And my rational mind said, No, not possible. He's certainly still fairly young, and his election could easily be several election cycles away, if it's going to happen.

I wonder if there are any astrologers here who can look at his chart.

12. That is exactly the reation I had!

When I heard the voice, my rational mind told me I was nuts -- he's black, he's young -- it's not going to happen in our country right now.

I am personally still very undecided about Obama as a potential candidate/President. I feel have to learn a lot more about him that what I am hearing in the media.

14. One thing that is certain
He is a Leader. And we need those. Someone who stands up and says, here we are.
That's all I know.

18. I think he will end up being Vice President first - in 2008
that's my hunch on it. Not sure who will be president though. My gut says it's not going to be Hillary. My heart hopes it will be Al Gore. Gore/Obama ?!

20. Oh Kineta I hope you're right about Hillary
I have a bad feeling about her, I just get some unpleasant info as I project that scenario into the future.

I'll vote for the dem that wins the primaries, hopefully it will be someone with an agenda to help the country and planet instead of themselves and their cronies.

22. I do not like the idea of her...
as President. I used to be a big supporter of the Clintons, but I have seen too many things on her part that tell me it's more about winning for her than truly representing the American people and what is good for the country. To me, she is a politician in the worst sense of the word and I don't trust her a far as I could throw her.

21. I keep thinking Gore/Obama as well.
It "feels" like a winning ticket. It would also give Obama some "seasoning" as a politician that could pave the way for a Presidential run.

23. Hillary is tainted..
whether for good or bad is up to the gods to decide.

I would want Gore too. But so far he is saying no.
I don't know how he can abdicate the 8 years he was rightfully due.
My heart is with yours.

24. For the official record, the only flash I've gotten of a Dem at a convention
at any point in the future was Wes Clark, in a dream I had in 2005.

I'm not getting anything about Obama as president for a long, long time.

25. I had the same experience when watching his speech....
I told my hubby, "That is the first African-American President!" I got no sense of when that would be, other than sometime further away than 2008. But one thing that causes me to not be too excited is that I had the same flash about Al Gore, a very long time ago, when he was my Congressman in Tennessee and I was watching him on the local news, "Wow, this guy is going to be President someday." And he was ELECTED, I have no doubt, but not allowed to serve.

Same with Kerry and Bill Clinton. I saw Clinton being made fun of about his long-winded speech at the Democratic convention, and I saw Kerry being interviewed, years and years ago, and I had the same flash about both of them. And one was elected we know for sure, and I suspect the other was, also.

For what it's worth, probably not much, I experienced the flash about John Edwards, too. Strange to have it about two of the candidates in the same year, but there it is.

As for Hillary, I have had no such flash about her. I can't see her having a job beyond the one she has now. I met her in New Hampshire in 1991, stood 2 feet from her, and the vibes were bad. My husband has chastised me for years for not talking to her as we were just standing there, but I couldn't talk to her. There was no warmth at all, no sense of welcoming a conversation. I am NOT saying she is a bad person, just that my vibrations are incompatible with hers. And I still feel the same when I see her. I can't help it, and I don't comment on her in the other forums, because I don't feel like being ridiculed for not falling in line.
