Can anyone recommend a good meditation or whatever for focusing?
I feel I'm scattered to the four corners of the earth right now, with my job, starting the paperwork for bankruptcy, and things associated with my daughter's wedding. It's becoming difficult for me to focus on anything for very long, which is not helpful to me.

If anyone has any suggestions of what I might do to help bring myself more focus, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks. SG.

1. Okay this is easy
given that Mercury is entering the shadow of the retro phase and just conjoined Chiron which makes one's focus slightly erratic, its correction can be really simple.

Take the tip of your index finger and put it together with the tip of your thumb on same hand as is your dominant one. Make as close to a circle as you can.

Place that circle over your third eye.

Spin the circle clockwise to focus it and counter clockwise to widen your peripheral vision. I've taught tons of kids to do this in school, and they've avoided the trash can diagnosis of ADHD and ritalin.

Yeah don't start. Different bodies respond to different things. But if you don't think ritalin is over prescribed, you've not been paying attention.

You can use this simple technique on any or all of your chakras to sharpen or widen there focus for free, free, free. Or you can pay an arm and a leg for someone else to do it forward.

(yikes with all the amputees from this debacle in Iraq that metaphor is probably now in poor taste and no longer politically correct-please excuse.)

6. Another way that I've discovered to develop concentration is to...
multiply numbers in your head. For me, it's one of the most difficult things that I've ever done, but after a few days, I really could feel a difference in my ability to concentrate. Doing it hasn't gotten any easier, but I've noticed a difference from doing it. For a period of time, I tried to do it once a day with two random two digit numbers.

5. to me a lack of focus is always about not being in the now, not grounded
to ground, I visualize a tail that drags the ground growing out of my spine

when i'm grounded I find staying in the 'now' much easier

7. Depending on your age.
It could be hormone related. Check with a doctor, if you feel that is appropriate. Or try herbal drops.

When I have difficulty concentrating or remembering, I sometimes take Ginko caps. Seems to work for me.

Do you have an attorney for the bankruptcy?

9. Some of it is homone-related, definitely.
I'm going through menopause. But I don't think it's totally homorne related. I'll try the Ginko; see if that helps.

And yes, I have an attorney for the bankruptcy.
