FINALLY I got my printer to cooperate so here's a first draft of a Stellascope for the Full Moon. :woohoo:
That's not to say I didn't enjoy saving trees for all these months, but in some instances, hard copies truly help.
Please be mindful of the fact I've only done two of these in the past 5 years, after doing 30 of them between 2/01 & 4/02, and a countless bunch of them that were 120 second spots on the radio '93-94. So I'm more than a little rusty.
Leo is the sign through which among other things, we crystallize and create through discovery of ourselves, our uniqueness, individual nature and identity.
Aquarius is generally about that which is shared by ALL of us. "Liberty, Fraternity, & Equality" comprised the credo of it's ruling planet's discovery in the late 1700's. So go figure.
Note the not so subtle distinction between those signs.
The Sun will be at the same degree as Pallas Athena, the illustrious dwarrioress and archetypal daughter, oddly born of Zeus's cranium. That conjunction will be two degrees past Chiron, representative of the wounded healer, or according to some, the wound that won't heal, or as a dear friend of mine always says, "all heels wound over time."
The Sun will be approaching a conjunction with mystical and ever visionary Neptune within about 6 days. Then it'll oppose a somewhat crankily deprived and despondant Saturn in Leo about 4 days later.
So this is the singular lunation of the year which will conjoin rather tightly within relative closeness, the Saturn/Neptune conjunction before it wanes. (Please let's not argue about orbs here-10 degrees counts in my smallish book when we're talking about lunations and big and rare oppositions-It's been since '71-72 since this occurred)
Saturn may just be calling us out on our cultural pathos that rewards and lauds selfishness instead of kindness.
The Moon will be inconjunct both a rambunctiously rabid Mars in Capricorn, and a potentially wildly imaginative and rebellious Uranus in Pisces (like "screw all of your beliefs" times may be far different now), which will be at the very same degree as Ceres, the archetypal mum. That may make us moved by unusual and quirky forms of nurture. STRAY ERRATIC CAT ALERT !!! That conjunction will be 6 degrees past Venus in Pisces (serve or suffer dahrlings) and 4 degrees prior to a conjunction with the North Lunar Node in Pisces (ditto the last parenthetical phrase.)
So there will be a Yod (finger of G-d) with the focus on the Moon. A Leo Moon is typically playful and funny. Yet approaching crotchety Saturn, not so much so. An approaching trine to Jupiter may lighten us up a bit though. Try to play responsibly maybe and running with scissors is strongly NOT recommended as ever.
Mercury will be in the shadow of it's retrograde phase at the very last degree of Aquarius opposing oh so regal Regulus, and just past it's empowered sextile to Pluto which is transiting the midpoint between the galactic center and the solar apex (representing the forward direction of our solar system through space.) It'll be 2 degrees past a trine to Juno (the archetype not so satisfied wife) in Libra. "I love you do you love me. . .I love you do you love me. . .I love you do you love me. . .?" Ahhh the record's stuck, the record's stuck, the record's stuck. Mercury will also be just 2 degree past a square to Vesta (goddess of the hearth and archetypal sista) in Scorpio. Consider lighting a candle for her and making an all empowering wish round about now.
Here are two things I posted in the comment section of the Huff Post yesterday.
They both contain a possible prayer for the lunation.
The first is in response to Deepak Chokpra who was posting about the Nuisance of Magical Thinking in response to a really limited NYT article.
I'll dig for a link in the archives after I post this. on edit- no archives are available.
The second was a comment in response to a post that Congressman Conyers made about the weekend's protest .
***************************************************** How's this for magical thinking. , ,?
Being a spiritualist who is also politically obsessed, I really agree with my dinky state's founder about creating a lively experiment. . .
Experimentations "are any actions or processes undertaken to discover something not yet known."
It is not yet provable though many in the spiritual community feel as though the current energies available to humanity are truly unprecedented in all our global recorded histories. It certainly feels as such.
I was once told a very long time ago that there would be a second flood. It would be a flood of ideas.
Pssssssst. . .I'd reckon we're about 5/6th of the way through it.
Here's a possible navigational tool that anyone can use to clear the plethora of foggy distortions:
Consider trying this out for a mantra. . .
"I co create with spirit that all those leaders who don't hold the greater good for ALL in their hearts as their absolute top priority, be exposed and stripped of all their power-pronto."
Rinse and repeat.
tra la la
Or as my son mockingly jokes. . ."So-o-o. . .this amazing energy previously unavailable to humanity, walks into a bar. . .the bartender says. . ."WOH". . .everybody gets enlightened."
Consider thinking outside your restrictive exclusively linear boxes people. This could start to be GREAT fun for a change. I promise because the highest authority of a not so little bird told me.

Congressman,
Thank you for all your intrepid and honorable efforts.
Since the definition of a Constitutional crisis is a situation wherein there is a breakdown or gross imbalance between the three branches of government, and since the executive branch's job is to defend the Constitution and we, the people from all enemies, both foreign and domestic, and they've blatantly done anything but endanger us by repeating their falsehoods, and distortions. . .
The bottom line is. . .
The * "misadministration" created a Constitutional crisis when they failed to adhere to the legislative branch's stipulation in the IWR (10/02) that they MUST acquire UN approval before using force in Iraq. Yoo Hoo. . .they did not.
By ignoring the will of the legislature and rushing to war based on bogus intelligence (aka sheer stupidity,) they've blatantly violated the balance of power set forth by our beloved founders in the Constitution.
These bozo's have trashed our economy, our global reputation, killed and tortured innumerable innocents, and thereby put we, the people at enormous "Risk." Foreign policy is simply far more complex than a board game. Duh.
Having no respect, enlightenment, conscience, consciousness, humanity, or appreciation for other cultural orientations whatsoever and behaving like total greedy bullies, * (Pinky) and "hogwash" Cheney (the Brain) should be encouraged to resign from their ill gotten and unearned positions of power, post haste.
Their heinous game of global domination is not only not working, it is historically doomed to failure, totally tiresome, ideologically and spiritually utterly vacuous, and so-o-o nauseatingly antiquated.
Think multiple resignations can't happen? Think again.
Consider trying this out for a mantra. . .
"I co create with spirit that all those leaders who don't hold the greater good for ALL as their absolute top priority, be exposed and stripped of all their power-pronto."
Rinse and repeat.
We, the people, are sick tired of living in a country that has morphed into being of the corporations, for the corporations, and by the corporations, benefiting ONLY the presumed "who's who of the chosen few,"
Let's fix it with our hearts AND minds or at least try.
The overwhelming majority of the people think the surge of forces in Iraq is nothing more than a "vendetta on failure" and that "victory" is an illusive impossibility.
By ignoring both the legislative branch and the people for 6 long years, let's incessantly demand their resignations NOW.
Happy "Moonday"
Have a nice day."
Am open to any and all comments and thanks in advance as always.
best & peace on.
