Astrologers: Dean and the DNC and Feb. 12
Dean's ability to shake things up with the Party Bosses stems from several things. His Natal Sun is directly opposite the DNC's Sun; his Pluto sits on the DNC's 12th house Uranus (using Noon birthtime since we don't have any other); and Saturn is in the first house, just past (not conjunct) the DNC's Asc. Could be other things going on as well, but that's a pretty good start.

Dean's Moon, which is very closely conjunct the politically-oriented asteroid Pallas, sits in the DNC's 10th House -- not like they're gonna get rid of him. He's there to remind them of The People, and be a thorn in their side for as long as they forget.

Some of Dean's Progressions and Transits for the 12th include:
Pr Venus Conj Natal Jupiter
Pr Ac conj Pr Ceres
T Jupiter conj Natal Venus
Tr Pluto just past conjunctions with Natal Mars but conj Part of Fortune
Pr Sun inconj Pr Asc
Pr Sun semi-sextile Natal Mars
Pr Moon just past Conj with N Uranus

DNC's progressions and transits include:
Transiting Neptune exactly opposite Natal Uranus
Transiting Pluto sextile Jupiter
" sextile Natal Pluto
" Trine Saturn and Transiting North Node
" Inconjunct Natal Sun
" Opposing Natal Juno
(That's a LOT of Pluto, most of it quite good, quite positive.)
Tr Saturn (can represent Dean) coming up on an opposition to N Pluto, Tr Saturn inconjunct Pr MC and Pr Sun (they are conjunct)

The Pr Moon on the 12th will be at 0 Sag 54, in the 4th House -- back to our roots? One can only hope so.

This should be interesting. I think Dean will be very, very good for the DNC if he's selected, and it looks like an awful lot of rank and file Dems are in favor of him.

2. I remember you saying that Dean would be very popular about now , Nancy
Looks like his loss in the primaries last year turned out to be a good thing in the long run. Dean may or may not have been able to beat Bush, but he'll play a huge role in helping us to build the counter-offensive that we will need to establish in order to undo Bush and the NeoCons' damage.

3. I think he will be great at the DNC
He will inject a much-needed new life into the party. And he will end up having more impact than Kerry, in the great irony of it all. I did indeed see very strong planets for him around now despite a clear loss at the convention. He has progressed Venus conjunct Jupiter (popularity) with progressed Moon opposite Jupiter right now til 2/14. I hope the deal is sealed by then. This period is a real high point for him. Lots of power too with traniting Pluto conjunct his Mars.

5. Right, let's hope the deal gets
sealed close to Dean's "high point"!

There was a link on DU to an astrology article by Vis Numar..Vis said that he thought Dean was going to win the DNC Chair based on what he could see in Dean's chart.

I wish I could find that link again but I seemed to have lost it.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?:silly:

Thanks, Nancy, for this information on Dean's Progressed and Transiting Planets!

one of his two original campaign promises:

1. To take back this Party and then

2. To take back the White House.

Of cousre, we've only made a good START on the first promsie, but still....

4. I remember that, too, NeoBuckeye!
I think it's more important for Dean to help get our Country back than for him to be President.

6. Dean is the only sunshine I see out there...in this long dark nightmare.
Maybe this was his destiny and not the Presidency. Whatever...it's good.

7. I have a feeling (just a feeling) that the DNC position was promised
Edited on Mon Feb-07-05 01:10 PM by Dover
to Dean months ago as compensation, when he 'lost' to Kerry. His purported opponents and competition for the DNC position are just part of the charade.

I still think Kerry's comeback in the primaries was engineered. And in a discussion with Charlie Rose, Dean almost spilled the beans, saying Clinton had called him just prior to Kerry's win (in Iowa) and laid things out.
Charlie Rose tried several times to get more out of him, but Dean knew he'd already said too much.

Yes....just speculation. Who really knows.

8. Holy Election Fix, Dover!! This is what so many of us suspected.
It sure did look strange at the time. I would imagine that Dean would have been all over contesting the 2004 election in Ohio and Florida, and would have even had a great many investigations into the other states. Dean isn't one to just sit down and shut up.

One of my greatest hopes is that DUers can get our election fraud research to Dean....somehow!! If we don't get this issue corrected immediately, we're going to keep on having these elections stolen, like the last 3 elections have been. I just can't take it anymore.

If not for dirty deals going on behind closed doors, this country wouldn't have government at all anymore. Most certainly, we are NO LONGER a nation of laws. And without laws that apply to everyone equally, a country is in a totalitarian/fascist state of governance.

11. Do you really think Dean would go along with something like that?
That makes no sense.

14. If true -
"Clinton had called him just prior to Kerry's win (in Iowa) and laid things out."

bad on Clinton....for sicing a stalking horse on us.

I thought Clinton was supporting the general....why would he have switched to Kerry?
