Wedding day pics (my daughter's wedding)!!
Hi friends. I wanted to share a few pictures from my daughter's wedding today. Unfortunately, a lot of the pics taken with my camera came out blurry. I wonder if there's something wrong with my camera, as I usually take good pics, and there were three other people using my camera today, and some of their pics came out blurry. Oh well. I did get some good ones:

My daughter:

My daughter's sister:

My daughter, her groom, and the grandmothers. (My mom is in the red jacket.)

Altar flowers:

The cake:

The bride, groom, and the happy families:

It was truly beautiful. Those two are so perfect for each other. They have really grown together, and being around them, one just feels love and delight.

The theme of the cake was art deco. MrSG did it.

15. Oh how beautiful. I love it all!
Sorry I have a million questions, so many interesting things to see!

What are the altar flowers???
Are those roses or tulips? II love the whole wispy look.... very dramatic yet soft at the same time.
I like that!

I really like the red touches here at the end of winter, just the right note to perk things up!

Is the red at the bottom of your dau's dress a hem or is it an underskirt? I love fancy dresses
and always have to look at all the details.

And how was the cake decorated, it almost looks like some of the art work was painted on somehow?

You did a very very nice job....

20. Thanks, cassie!
The altar flowers are white calla lillies, white roses, and red tulips.

The red in my daughter's dress is the hem. I love that dress; it looks so good on her.

MrSG did the cake, and everything (decorations) was done by hand. He's very talented!

23. The dress looked wonderful on your dau.

Her waist so small, the full skirt and bare shoulders, a really good combination.

I just noticed the tiny red detailing on the veil. :)

Yes I can see now that it is a hem, I thought at first it was an over skirt.

I love those flowers, the way you have them arranged, I really like dreamy quality
of how they are intermingled and larger ones on the outside a bit. Looks very romantic
and dreamlike to me. And very upscale, not like a routine arrangement. And the wispy
greenary..... again dramatic, soft, romantic.

The cake is also very interesting. Did he paint the decorations on?

Good thing I was not invited to the wedding. I would have gotten totally distracted looking at the
dress, the cake, the flowers and missed the wedding. :(

24. That dress was just perfect for her.
Thanks for the comments on the flowers. Those are the biggest arrangements I've ever done.

MrSG piped the decorations on, using piping gel.

I didn't take any photos during the ceremony (though it would have been acceptable to do so) because I wanted all my energy going to my daughter and new son-in-law. It was a wonderful ceremony!

I am so glad it was such a wonderful day.

I wish everyone I knew could spend some time with them. They have their occasional rough spots, but overall, the energy between them and radiating from them is just amazing and positive and loving.
