On the night of the full lunar eclipse! :bounce:
It seemed to be set sometime in the past, as I was with my family of origin. My brother wanted a job. He was going to apply to work at a "furniture store." I was telling him he should apply somewhere he actually had an interest in, so the day wouldn't be so mind numbingly dull or long. Suddenly, we were at the video rental store. While there checking out videos, a manager approached me and asked if I wanted a job. I didn't, but said sure in hopes I would help my brother get a job.
We told my brother and he hurried over to meet the manager with me. The manager came out and shook our hands, mine, my brother's and my mother's. My mother was on my right, my brother was on my left.
The manager spoke to us in a language we didn't understand. It wasn't anything of this earth (i.e. a foreign language, european language, spanish, a dialect, etc.). We just sat there smiling. When I looked at the application, I realized the job was for a new pen store that was opening and NOT the video store. I asked another manager about it, and was told it was for the ball point pen store. My brother was still interested. I was not.
In the time that the manager was speaking, I noticed a large group had congregated behind us. Apparently other interested applicants. (I didn't realize working at a pen store was such a hot ticket...lol). The manager finished speaking. Then we were told they were going to take all the interested people to the store to see where they would be working.
I think everyone proceeded to the store, including my brother. I walked some of the way with them, but wasn't interested. I think I saw the outside of the store (not sure, fuzzy here)also think we were in mall--some of it inside, some outdoors. I vaguely recall riding an escalator (up)toward the direction of the location of the store (I think)...and then woke up.
