I found more info on Esther Hicks and "The Secret"
http://thesecretnotes.com/the-esther-and-jerry-hicks-omission-explained/

She explains why a new version was made.

References to this movie are everywhere now!
And it sure is polarizing. This reminds me of a comment that someone made during the second Oprah show-"mediocrity attacks success".
I take it to mean that we are reflective of each other, so if one is feeling fear-for whatever reason, it's "fight or flight". Does this make sense?

What do you think?

1. Thank you, wovenpaint.
I love the beauty of how Esther and Abraham explained it, as it makes much sense to me. The energy she/they emanate is soooo soft and loving.

2. I think it was mediocrity attacks excellence
which I think is true. People seem most bothered when others have achieved something better.

(I'll have to check out the link later. I'm at work -- or at least supposed to be working :))

A sad thing happened at one of our local LOA meetups. There were two women there who have had years of experience with Abraham's teachings. They both sold property at prices they never would have imagined possible before. One has purchased her dream property in a rural area. The other can now afford to earn her living as an investor. They are both very vocal about how it works.

A man who has made himself something of a local folk hero legend started a lot of the activity with the meetups. I knew him from a body worker meetup summer '05. He turned over the week to week running of the meetups to 'assistant organizers', and made periodic visits. One week one of the successful women took issue with how everyone was focusing on negatives and the 'assistant facilitator' tried to convince her that we had to 'work or sort through a lot of issues'. Bev didn't agree. The next week, the other one took the center of attention to read something from "Ask and It is Given". Personally, I thought both of these women had more to contribute to the topic at hand than most of us there. Not all, because there were other success stories too. Soooo, the following week, the legend man showed up. The other two women did not. The 'assistant facilitator' had the meeting all to herself. We still had a good meeting. He told me he was there to ensure there would be no more 'disruptions'. I see the 'assistant facilitator' as hogging too much of the time and focus. She always starts late. I mentioned to him that I found starting late to be disruptive and did not feel the other two were, imho. There is room for everyone. Unfortunately even those on the same path don't always honor that.

Competition shouldn't surprise me. Law of the jungle.
