The Yin and Yang of Order and Chaos
03/12/07 - 03/18/07

This week's eclipse presents major stability as optimistic Jupiter trines serious Saturn on March 16. There's also an emphasis on sensible relationships as Venus enters Taurus on March 17. Mercury's reentry into dreamy Pisces on March 18 helps your idealism take off. On the same day, a solar eclipse in Pisces marks a major turning point.

March 16: Jupiter trine Saturn

This week, expansive Jupiter in Sagittarius is wildly optimistic, while restrictive Saturn in Leo has leadership capabilities and a great sense of authority. When these two are in harmony -- as they are with this trine aspect -- you'll experience balance in your social and financial lives. You should have a solid sense of where you are and what you want to improve in your life.

March 17: Venus enters Taurus

The planet of relationship in the sign of values brings an emphasis on the nuts and bolts of your relationships, and on your financial life. This is a great time to assess how you handle your money -- no matter if it's with your partner, your child or your accountant. Your monetary situation deserves thoughtful consideration now.

March 18: Mercury enters Pisces

Mercury reenters Pisces, settling down into the sign where its last retrograde began on February 14. The power of your imagination during this transit will help you dream up ideas you hadn't previously considered. After Mercury's recent review, your ideals now seem sensible. It is time to think through how you can make everything come true.

March 18: Pisces solar eclipse

4. LOL "worse than rice cakes."
What's with Metta and the plethora of cyber doughnuts anyway. . .and how come there are two acceptable ways to spell "donuts?"

This is but one of the enormously mystifying mysteries of the universe.

And where the heck did that random "delete" thread go?

Great basic info Dream. Thanks for posting as ever and for all you do.

5. Besides coffee, beer and popcorn, that's all that's available in the DU cafeteria!
We need to lobby for a better selection of virtual food!

Now real doughnuts/donuts (:)) are another story altogether. It's not safe for me to be around them. :yoiks:

(Cream filled doughnuts are my downfall. :()

11. Man! I've been being soooo good with my new way of eating, but...
that might have done it. If there had been a cream filled doughnut in there, I might have had to go to the doughnut shop right this very moment!

I need to remember the mantra that I've been given: "Nothing tastes as good as it feels to be thin; nothing tastes as good as it feels to be thin; nothing tastes as good as it feels to be thin; doughnuts taste better than it feels to be thin..."

14. LOL
Chocolate is a rare treat for me. I'm very good, too.

My diet is fairly basic...I've noticed improvement in my health when I keep my diet as basic, and as natural as possible. Rarely do I eat any processed food. Mostly eggs & veggies in the am; salad, veggies and protein in the PM, and fruit as snacks. Makes a world of difference for me.

I had to radically change my eating habits when I became gluten, yeast and dairy free, so I'm used to adjusting to new ways of eating. A lot of sugary things go out the window with that...mostly pastries, doughnuts, cookies and the like. Gluten free cookies are quite expensive, and there's not the vast array you'd find with wheat cookies, so they're another treat. The ginger ones are to die for... :9

12. Yes on the salad; no on the bleu cheese dressing.
The only salads we have come with fat-free, tasteless glop. Sorry!

(Oh, I bet that you're naturally thin, so you can probably eat whatever you want. OK, you may have the good dressing, but just don't let me see it; OK?)

I'm just kidding: I'm doing fine with my diet. I've lost about 10 pounds so far, which is a big deal for me since I normally lose weight slowly. I'm manifesting quicker weight loss! My goal was 15 pounds, so I don't have much further to go! Maybe I'll go for another 5 beyond that. My affirmation is "I am beautiful, thin and healthy." :)
