The eclipse on my birthday has been nothing but negative
I've had the week from HELL. The eclipse fell on my birday, March 3rd. I posted that I was having a sense of doom. I did my best to be positive. I guess it didn't work.

I found out our mortgage company has been misapplying our payments for the past 18 months. They say we owe $2,900. That means I have to amend two income tax filings, include spending our entire savings paying for the mistake.

My dog had a seizure and has been diagnosed with epilepsy. He's not even 2 years old.

I was in a car accident in April and was severely injured. My insurance company sent a letter last week stating they would no longer pay my bills until I see their "independent" doctor.

My husband is subject to random drug testing at work. His test today came back positive! The only drug he takes is Ibuprofen for neck arthritis. So, he's laid off for 30 days with no other job in sight. They don't even give you the chance to retake the test at his expense.

I've about reached the end of my rope...thanks for listening. I hope things start improving. They have to. I've got nowhere to go but up. :)

1. Stall on the 'independent' doctor
if you can. I thought that normally they continue to pay until getting results from same. Guess it varies by state. I voluntarily submitted to an exam before I had to because I did not realize the insurance company was running a scam. Now I know. You might want to talk to an attorney about the wreck if you haven't. The easiest car wreck I had was all handled by an attorney and I didn't have to bother with anything but getting better and finding a replacement car. Sometimes it pays to have experts.

It seems I've heard ibuprofen can cause false positives. Does he have any recourse? Do they just lay him off for 30 days? No 'drug' counseling? Weird.

Amending the returns is no big deal. Other than increasing your tax liability, if that is the case. That looks like a stinker. If you reported the amount supplied by the mortgage lender, you should not be held financially responsible. They are just now letting you know of an 18 month screw-up? Look into this more.

Sorry you're having a sh*t parade. I really believe that sometimes we need a good flushing, though don't approach me while I'm going through one. It opens up the system for a bunch of wonderful blessings. Your's are coming.

4. Thank you for the advice
I retained an attorney almost immediately because one of my dogs was badly injured, too. I had no idea how to go about getting reimbursed for his vet bills.

The insurance company that's sending me to the independent is MY insurance company. My policy had $100,000 of medical payments. I was rear ended, so I wasn't at fault.

My husband is a journeyman. The union rules state that you remain jobless for 30 days after a positive drug test. He's got no recourse, not even retesting. It's going to blemish his record forever. Beware if you take Ibuprofen!

I'm actually the one that found the interest problem with my mortgage because I didn't get a 1098 interest form from them. I called them and was told our payments were applied to principle only. When they applied them correctly, we're somehow 6 months behind! I'm having my attorney look into the payment applications, but basically billing errors are due and payable when it's found. Last year's 1099 was low, but we were sending bigger payments, so it didn't register.

Like I said, things have GOT to get better!

8. I have to say Holly, that your week from hell is a bit overwhelming..
That testing is confusing- I can't say that I understand it much myself. My husband and I going through some testing issues too. My birthday is around the corner. Hope that some of this clears up. I can't say I remember my parents going through so much, but then I remember they had Nixon. I guess they had their own hell.

2. Couple things
Here's an article about how ibuprofen with test false positive for THC:

http://www.belmont.edu/burs/pdf/ChemPhys.pdf

You may want to contact your state employment board to check out hid rights, if any. Maybe your husband should talk to his doctor and see if the doctor agrees it's a false positive. Perhaps the doctor could intervene.

Secondly, I believe you have three years to amend your tax return. Check with your accountant, but I wouldn't stress myself trying to get that done before the April deadline.

The mortgage problem: Did they misapply your escrow? If so, start doing it yourself. Also, the mortgage company should be able to supply you with a detailed account of how they spent your money. Ask for it, and go over it carefully. This happened to me a few years ago and I found the mortgage company was paying themselves for imaginary late fees, which I succesfully fought.

Hang in there!

5. Thank you for the link!
My husband has an appt. tomorrow with his doctor, and he hired an employment attorney this afternoon. They didn't tell him what exactly he tested positive for, so Ill print the article and have the doctor look at it.

See my earlier post about the mortgage problem. It's a mess. Luckily, they realize it's their mistake and aren't charging us late charges.

I'm hanging by my toes! :)

9. Last April, Uranus was transiting your Sun.
That transit is at the very least, nerve rattling and is at times, accident prone. It often brings with it either breakthroughs or breakdowns.

The eclipse triggered all of that trauma and also squared your nodes so may have been unsettling.

Saturn hit your Jupiter In November and December and will do so again in July and then transit your Pluto in August. It's opposing your Uranus as well and is indicative of the banking, work, and physical hassles you are experiencing.

Saturn on Jupiter can feel as though one has gone through a humor-ectomy. You really haven't. Maybe just keep visualizing having all these annoying snafus resolved and really stay focused on making it so.

Jupiter transited your North Node in January and will do so again in June and September. That should clear some of the BS away, bracketing the next Saturn transit.

Neptune has been transiting your Mercury for the last year which probably influenced a lot of these misrepresentative hassles. It's over now.

Your husband needs to really be proactive about demanding a secondary test. Maybe he can do some research on false positives and document them.

The mortgage company screwed up and keep bothering them until you find a human being who can help you.

It boggles my mind how when one is up against any bureaucratic hassle if you inquire about something you can generally get 3 different explanations. Keep trying.

You'll get through this and though it must seem overwhelming, you'll sort it all out over time.

Hang in there and best to you.

10. Thank you
I'm not an astrologer, but know enough to dread Saturn. I'm a slow learner. :) I know Uranus brings shocks and surprises. I know that being a Pisces can be detrimental if I succumb to the negative aspects of the sign. I really do try to fight the negatives - I won't let anyone use me anymore, and try to focus on the here and now. Most of my personality reflects my rising sign, Aquarius. I really would like to save the world. My Sagg moon makes me shoot arrows at people, verbally.

My husband's attorney talked to the union rep this morning. He will be able to take another test AFTER the mandatory 30 days suspension. It'll cost $245. The union rep admitted to the attorney that the reason the 30 days is mandatory is to give the person a chance to clean up. The doctor is sending a letter to the attorney and union tomorrow, stating he's on Rx doses of Ibuprofen for arthritis and that MAY be a reason for a false positive. In any event, he's going to lose 30 days work.

The attorney working on our mortgage problem says he's had an accountant go over the figures and we do owe the discrepancy. He's working with the mortgage company to work out a payment plan. He's trying to keep them from putting our house in foreclosure status. Keep in mind that our house is worth $120,000 and we only owe $17,000 on the entire mortgage. He finds it hard to believe they would actually foreclose for the late amount, because hiring attorneys to foreclose would cost more than we owe. He also said to come up with the money and the problem would go away.

Thanks again. You've helped me to see it's going to end. Can I make a small donation to the charity of your choice?

:pals:

11. Sometimes old things need to be cleared away, to make room
for the new possibilities. Sometimes painful issues need to come to the surface so that they can be resolved. And in some cases, hidden things need to surface so they can be faced.

And if there is activity around your natal nodal axis now, then a great deal of this may be karmic. Painful lessons but necessary for your soul growth.
